It connected through my home network easily, although once I had to uninstall and reinstall it on my 9 year old computer. I'm a little surprised that im getting dozens of pages, bot B&W and color, with the starter cartridges. The scanner seems to work well.

This is a replacement for one that recently died. I purchased because of the incredible sale price on printer and service plan at Best Buy. I have not opened box and installed yet but I know it will be incredible like the one it is replacing

Clear copies, fast printing, even in color. Scan feature is not so good. Very slow scanner, and will NOT automatically scan both sides of a document. Very cumbersome to scan both sides manually, and arrange into a pdf document. Would not recommend the WF-3820 if you use the scan feature frequently.

It never stayed connected to wifi and we had to plug in to print, which I was willing to live with. The ink is expensive and you do not have the capability to print when one of the colors or black is out -- they ALL need to be replaced. Most recently, just under 2 years after purchasing and using lightly-regularly, the feeder mechanism is spitting out 5-10 pages at a time, with the print scattered over multiple pages. It is starting to jam. My parents have the same printer and took it apart to find a broken piece inside that cannot be replaced. I am SO disappointed as this was not a cheap printer for a home office. Likely will not buy another Epson.

Since day 1 it constantly has paper jams. Every time I try to print something it makes this terrible grinding sound, then says it has a paper jam. It also says the paper tray is empty when it is half full. I called the warranty phone number. After an 1.5 hours on the phone with them we were able to get the printer to work for about 10 minutes before they same cycle started all over. NEVER AGAIN!
