Mine was working fine with third party ink cartridges until I updated to the latest firmware and now it will not recognize the ink cartridges. There is no way to go back and downgrade the firmware and now I basically have a brick of a printer with full ink cartridges. Epson has been sued for this practice and I hope that they pay out big time! I will avoid all Epson printers for now and highly suggest you do the same.

It insisted on new Epson cartridges after having used off market for some time. Ok fine. But now it refuses to recognize the black Epson cartridge. Spent 20 minutes troubleshooting. Also had problems with it connecting on the network.

It does everything and even has a fax. Looks and works great. I use it in my home office everyday. A little tuff to set up though. But if i can figure it out anybody can.
