Don't Waste Your Money

Paper jams already and today, after I pulled out the paper tray, it would not insert all the way back in. I called Epson customer service and could hardly understand agent. She said unit was defective and gave me two options to return to Epson, both of which would place holds on my credit card (as far as I could understand). So disappointed!

After the first cartage replacement, printer would not recognize 1 cartridge and stopped working entirely as a result. I reported the issue 1.5 months before warranty expired according to the website you can all look up. It took 2 months and 8 phone calls later (with escalation, each lasting average 30 min) they finally sent a replacement cartridge which did not fix the issue. After 10 phone calls, I was informed the warranty period had now expired because of Epson delays and they could not replace the printer without a receipt. Who keeps a receipt after a year? As only recourse they have offered me a 15% to purchase more of their poor products. Buy from one of their competitors, they are better, more ethical companies.

I would give it zero. This printer has been problematic from the start. Every few months it stops recognizing my Xfinity Modem. This last time I called they claimed it was an Xfinity problem and said they need to enable DHCP on the router - which has never been enabled on the route since I've had it so Epson clearly changed something in their update to cause the issue. Just like they did when set it up so that you are forced to use only Epson ink.
