Printer That Won't Print PDFs Isn't a Printer

I quickly discovered that, while I could print Word documents and image pdfs, I could not print pdfs with text in them (the print cue would simply hang). So I called Epson "support" for help. I was informed that because the printer would print something, it was fine and they would not help me. I reminded them that it was up to me if it was fine or not and that I would return it if it wouldn't print pdfs. That was OK with Epson, so that's it for me. No more Epson products for the rest of my life. If you know what's good for you, you, too will avoid this company. To be clear, I'm sure the printer is capable of printing pdfs. The company's unwillingness to lift a finger to help is the problem. To me, it's a fatal problem.
