Printer has never worked
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I bought this printer I used it once and it has sat ever since. I tried printing from it within the last 2 weeks and performed the print head clean, put new ink in, etc. followed many support docs and this printer will not print at all and the bad thing is my warranty just expired. I wish I had tried using it sooner and then warranty would of covered it, but even when we received this printer it did not print very well at all. Text document with just black ink was faint. It has never printed pictures good at all. I got real sick and have not been able to use it until now. Very unhappy with this printer...don't make the I did by buying this brand product. Unhappy Customer

Horrible...AVOID. wish I could give 0 stars
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased printer for use with school work. Printer was working fine, ran smoothly for a while. then past the 3 months window return to Best buy, Printer started having issues - it wouldnt print and then it started clogging up. Contacted Epson and they walked me through every solution I had already done stated on their website, then they said they would send a replacement but it would be refurbished, which I was not willing to do, having read other reviews and experience of refurbished item. They also connected to my computer, then blamed the problem on my computer. I switched to a different computer and no its not the ptinter but the computer and wanted to sell me spyware. Avoid Epson printers

Hmmmm
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Initial I loved this printer. However after only a year it's not holding up to the test of time. I have to constantly unjam paper and reconnect the wifi. Very annoyed with this product and truly expected more for how much it cost.

Would not buy again...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this printer, because HP didn't have a good printer with two/three paper trays. This printer is good for that reason, but the problem I have had, is the feed on top (for copies/scanning) gets jammed constantly. Sure, I should haul the monster in to let the geeks look at it, but I don't want to do all that and then pay to have them look at it and get nothing in return. Another downfall is the wasteful ink. It is powder from what I understand and comes in a big cartridge and does not last very long at all. I am coming up on one year and it has streaks in the printing regardless of the cleaning.

worked great for 7 months and quit
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned this printer for almost 7 months and then it stopped working. The print quality was great, the ink was reasonable. The scanner did a good job and was an easy interface. It was easy to setup. however, a couple of days I updated the driver and I got an error message afterwards - 0x97 - which apparently is the kiss of death. I called Epson and I was told it is a hardware failure - after being required to give them a credit card # to place a hold in case I don't send back the broken unit, they are shipping me a refurbished printer. The only other option was for me to pack it up and ship it to them. I'm not happy with those 2 options - especially since the hold is for more then what I payed the printer for. The printer should last longer then 6 and 1/2 months. I"m glad Epson is sending me a new printer - no proof of purchase required, but I'm not happy that it was so short lived.

Not so great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When it's working, it's great. When you change the ink, an error code O97 comes up that is so frustrating you wonder why people didn't talk about it before you bought it.

Disregard Prior Review
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was great for a few weeks when the print heads got clogged and I used almost an entire set of ink cartridges to clean and align the print heads to no avail. Paper mishandling also became a real hassle. So many misfeeds and incorrect paper detection requiring user to be at the printer to manually feed the paper through the rear paper feeder. The print head technology is great and works wonderful in Epson's commercial printers. However Epson's consumer products lack in design and engineering.

Utter junk, BUY THE REPLACEMENT PLAN.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this one for almost a year, printed less than 200 pages, couldn't get it to print without streaks, and the front panel went out. Epson replaced under warranty, the second one lasted less than 3 months. Wasted a set of ink because during troubleshooting, Epson said it was bad ink, so I bought a new set, couldn't get the heads to alligh, or print without streaks. Best buy swapped it out under their 2 year replacement plan. Best $20 ever spent. Got the HP and no issues so far.

Horrible connection with MacBooks do not buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very disappointed I bought this Epson printer. I recently started an MBA program and wanted to splurge for a reliable heavy duty printer. However, every time I try to wirelessly print from my MacBook it may or may not connect to the printer. The connection is horribly unreliable, and forces me to turn on and off the printer almost every time I want to print something.

Printhead failed in barely over a year
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, it worked great when it was new. It is moderately used in my home office. However, just barely more than a year, it failed. The printhead is clogged and numerous attempts to clean it failed. Used only genuine Epson cartridges too. Magenta and black have several clogged nozzles that will not clear up. So, it is a paperweight now.

Didn't work for me
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this printer for my home/office. I had read positive reviews from Consumer Reports before purchasing. But after getting in home it was down more times than it was up. Finally after 3 days and talking to tech. support multiple times each day, I returned it to Best Buy. Ordered a different printer from Amazon.

Do Not Buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Epson WF-4630 has a terrible problem with clogged printheads. To their credit Epson replaced our first 4630 after we were unable to clean the printhead. However, the replacement has now developed the same problem.

trouble with wireless printing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Predictability on whether I will be able to print wirelessly is fair. It is necessary to continuously reprogram the network information. When setting up the printer, the only printer driver that is recognized by Epson is the fax component of the driver. Very dis=satisfied.
