Could not get printer past the setup stage. Printer would not recognize the CYAN ink cartridge. Tried 3 other new cartridges, but printer kept telling me that the ink levels in these new cartridges was to low to proceed. Returned printer to Best Buy for a replacement.

The wireless printing has problems. You set everything up and then it just stops functioning and you have to re-install drivers. Wouldn't buy again!! Epson is not very customer friendly and ink is very expensive!

The printer is easy to install in system. This thing is fast, no waiting for " preparing to print" It just gets the print job, and prints, about 4 seconds for 81/2" x 11" full color map to print. Print is clear and dark, pictures are as good as commercial would be. Ink cartridges are large with even larger available. Very happy have recommended to friends Vast improvement over HP I used to run.

Bought it, didn't run out of the box, they exchanged it, ran 2 reams of paper through the second one, used 12 ink cartridges and then it stopped printing legibly. Don't buy this printer.

Hardware issues seem to be a serious concern with this Epson printer, ours failed with what appears to be a motherboard issue just 18 months later.

Holy Mackeral a Printer that WORKS!

tl;dr: This printer WORKS, yes buy it! We've printed a little over 3,000 sheets of paper, some color, some black and white, some single sided and some duplex. We've also used the automatic feeding scanner and copier quite a bit. And truth be told I really don't know how to open the printer up to remove a jam because it has NEVER jammed. We've only had to change the black ink once, which is impressive to us because I would guess at least half of the 3,000 sheets we've printed were duplex. We have always used it for wireless printing and have never had an issue, set up took like maybe 5 minutes. The printer gives very good quality text and pictures. The text prints are maybe just borderline not as good of quality as a good laser printer. And the color pictures are not quite the quality of purpose built photo printer. But the printing is very high quality, more than good enough for business purposes. Oh, and this thing prints really fast. To wrap up I seriously love this printer because it just WORKS. I can't remember the last time I purchased a printer that works like you want it to, who knew printers could be stress relieving instead of stress inducing!

So far an improvement over my past HP

I have had several HP Inkjet and laserjet printers. My 17 year old Laserjet 5L still works but I have gone through about 4 inkjets in under 10 years each with niggling problems. I decided to try an Epson this time. I have only had it for about 5 months but it is faster, clearer and easier to set up. The software updates are a bit time consuming but it works great both wired and wireless. I have seen reviews complaining of short ink life. If you believe the "low ink level" warnings I guess you would say that. My low red ink has been on well over 2 months with admittedly light usage but the black has been on over a month and it is still going fine including printing a 50 page credit card report with graphs in black and white. When it stops printing I'll put in the spare I have but at the cost of a cartridge it better be empty before I throw it out. I wish they would make the warning a bit more realistic.

Good for a small office printer. I find the ink lasts and the quality is good. This is not a fine color printer but good for the basics. I've had no troubles in using it for almost i year now.

I gave this printer 4 stars instead of 5 because I have only had it a week and need to own it longer to be sure. However, so far I really like the printer and the job it does. Very nice, clear printing in b/w and color. Especially like the following: can print in grayscale, auto duplexing, photo quality, it's fast and the ease of operation and understanding the commands. I am not at all a tech person and I was able to set this up easily by myself followed the step by step instructions on line.

This all-in-one printer is really a workhorse in my home office. One of the good things is its image quality. With such a price, I guess I would say it is impossible to find another inkjet printer to provide the same quality. I am very glad to have this one.

I bought this printer for home/business use and used this to print off some colored menus on some glossy photo paper. The quality is great and I do like the wireless printing option. The replacement ink cartridges aren't too expensive so its a great buy for me.

This printer is a commercial grade printer but it is a consumer price. Less than $200 but it is as solid as a piece of office equipment. I love the speed! Scanning to a PC is terrific as well.

    horrible all around

We got a little over a year with it before it completely broke and company assured us it is not fixable. It was always a pain to hook up to a new device to print wirelessly, after about 6 months it had marks down the ink and I did all the maintenance and troubleshooting for it and replaced the ink (which cost WAY TOO MUCH). It just wasn't a good machine and I'm pretty sure I'm done with Epson forever. Unfortunately I think we paid double what the cost of it is now, so obviously I expected more (my monies worth). Very disappointed in how short a time we had this before it completely broke.

I decided to venture into the Epson line of printers after hearing people discuss the quality prints they get when printing photos or cards. I love that this printer is WIFI enabled and automatically does duplex printing without having to purchase additional trays. It's easy to use and I love the printer.
