Its efficient for large projects and its quick. the large paper tray holds enough theres no need to refill too often. CONS- I had a difficult time hooking it up to my 2 laptops. One linked quick- older Dell notebook, and the other-a newer dell laptop didn't so I need a cable to connecting from printer to laptop. Be sure to order cable just in case. Plus if wifi is down you can still print with a cable.

Upgrade to 4820 from 3270

I used all the parts: printer, scanner, copier, even sent some faxes. But the paper feeder was delicate and a printers most important job is loading paper. Used 3270s were about the same as new if I had to ship it. This 4820 was really cheap at my local Best Buy

Tried to scan, but it appears to need a set up that I have not had time to figure out. Not sure if it is my lack of knowledge or the scanner setup as I have not had extra time to work on this. I really just wanted to take it home, plug it in, connect it to my wifi, and scan.

Product directions were complete, and startup was not a problem. So far item is working well and provides good quality images for photos and documents printed. Smart scan works a bit differently for previous Epson model.
