Does everything we need pretty good. The wireless ability is great. It connects to everything easily and prints great. Printing directly from your phone is easy too.

Your WF-4820 was designed to work only with genuine Epson ink cartridges, therefore some updates may affect the functionality of third-party ink. Non-Epson branded or altered Epson cartridges that functioned prior to a firmware update may not continue to function. Had to use WPS to get wifi to stick, regular way to connect would not work. Otherwise - this machine works very well.

Ink Costs Almost As Much As The Printer

The cost of Genuine Epson replacement ink is insane, it's almost as much as the printer and it doesn't take compatible inks as I was told it did.

It had been working great. It only recently started producing scans that are slightly out of focus. I used to use 3rd party printer inks to cut down in costs but I use Epson ink these days.
