ABSOLUTE GEM for the home office

The Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4820 was exactly the easy install I needed for my home office. It was easy to unbox, setup, and get the wifi connected --- this is a non-negotiable feature for me as my entire home basically runs on wifi. Additionally, the touchscreen screen is rather large for a printer and was so easy to navigate through. I have noticed that printers with all of these features that this one has --- scanning, copying, faxing, autoduplex, sharp color printing, USB connection, wifi connectivity makes it so easy to print from anywhere on the same wifi connection (so I can print from anywhere in my home, EVEN FROM MY SMARTPHONE) makes this an easy call and straight shot. My only con was that the paper tray was a bit troublesome to get in and out at first, but it eventually worked. Otherwise, this printer is simply a STEAL for the price.

The printer is extremely easy to setup and produces vivid color prints. Quality is comparable to a commercial printer. This is a great printer for home and office use.

I needed something for my home that not only printed beautifully, but that could handle card stock. After doing a lot of research this was the decision that I made. I am absolutely not disappointed. I love the way the ink works and the installation is set up was a breeze! I also love that it’s compact because I live in a very small space. A lot of value for a very very reasonable price. The ink is good price to which ends up usually costing a heck of a lot more than the printer itself. Not the case here! Inc. is reasonably priced. And lasts a long time..

I started a search for a new printer by going to CNET and PC Magainze's websites. All of their recommendations were sold out on Best Buy and Amazon. So I decided to take a chance on this Epson and am glad I did. I had it delivered by Best Buy and it arrived a day early. The set up instructions were clear, easy to follow, and only took a few minutes after unboxing. I was quickly able to print from my iPhone and laptop and the print quality is great. I've been able to scan multiple documents to a thumb drive, make copies and print, all with no problems. It was frustrating to read so many reviews of other printers, that, even though were 4+ stars, the most recent reviews were horror stories of either setup, connectivity, print quality, paper jams and more. I'm happy to say I had no such issues with this printer and highly recommend it. This is replacing my 10+ year old HP OfficeJet 8610. I could have tried to replace the printhead but didn't want to risk it since the cost was only a few dollars less than a brand new printer. So far, so good. This printer is actually much faster than the HP and takes us slightly less space.

Purchased this to replace an Epson Artisan 810 that lasted me 16 years. Thus far this one works well. Easy to setup and use. The Smart Scan app makes it easy to use your mobile devices for scanning, copying and printing.

Solid Printer. Set up was extremely easy and the calibration of the printer head was straight forward. The screen is very easy to navigate and makes the rest of the set up simple. Connecting to the WIFI was super easy as well. One struggle is making sure the paper was inserted correctly. You have to be precise in inserting the tray or you will get an error on the paper tray. Printing and copying are very accurate and the colors look awesome. I haven't tried the fax portion. Mobile printing works well and the app is easy to use! I highly recommend this Epson printer.

This printer was easy to configure and was the right size for the existing office furniture arrangement. It has very fast print speed - about 5 seconds for an 8 1/2 x 11" sheet. It is perfect for my small business and personal needs!

This seems to be a very good printer at a great price. Setup was easy. Printing seems crisp and clear so far. This model does not have a dedicated slot for envelopes in the back, but that is a small criticism. Overall, we are happy with this purchase.

This is my third Epson Workforce. They last long, are user friendly and make great copies. It’s perfect for my small business and personal needs. I got a great Labor Day sale and traded in my old printer for an additional discount.

The set-up software has an outdated appearance and was a little clunky, but the printer itself is very fast and quiet. I am very pleased that I am not bombarded by constant requests to sign up for an ink replenishment subscription.

As an Epson fan, I can say that this fast response machine is easy to like. The instructions for set up were clear and precise. The computer and printer communicated surprisingly well, and especially in the installation.

I am happy with this purchase. I bought this printer since my family is working/schooling from home full time and I needed a home office printer/scanner at a reasonable price. Unpacking printer hardware was easy. Requires a software install (included) on your laptop to be able to use all the features such as scanning. All printers on the home WIFI network are automatically connected and required no software or driver installation. I have several laptops, MAC Books, and Chromebooks and all are able to easily connect and print. Printing and scanning are reasonable fast. Scanning is only on one side and can be done via a feeder or on the flatbed. Very easy to scan multiple pages at a time. Scanning can be in B&W or color. Software supports adding a password to your scanned documents. B&W and Color printing looks good and quickly prints 2-sided pages. I only use regular printer paper and the results look good. One of the reasons why I purchased this model is the Epson Printer Cartridges (822/822XL) will hopefully last a long time and cost less than the previous HP printer I had replaced. The construction seems of higher quality than other home printers. This is a very good all-in-one home office printer for a reasonable price under $200.

I got this printer on sale and it was a great value. The item is a little balking so make sure you have space on your desk for it, otherwise it does everything its supposed to (print, scan, fax, etc.) The set up was easy. I especially like the print from anywhere feature. Printing from/ scanning to my samsung phone, ipad, and HP computer are all equally easy.

Overall, a very good printer. We had an Epson before this one that gave us many years of good service so that's why we stayed with Epson. The printer is pretty quick, the copies come out very nice, and the menu options are pretty good, although hard to find firmware update.. Price was decent, if it lasts like the last Epson, I'll be happy.
