    I love the all in one printer. I had an HP printer before and i was gaving trouble connecting it to the internet with the epsom it is no more easily to connect and i can scan and printer

    So far so good....Easy set-up. The printing is crystal clear....Ink toner pretty expensive but economical with casual use.

    after you get it set up not just with printer but scanner and fax, it's a pretty good machine for the money. I've has workforce in the past so definitely wanted to buy that style again. The old model 2540 was more user friendly, but it's been discontinued.

    This machine has been one annoyance after another. It doesn't stay connected to WiFi longer than a day at a time and has to be power cycled to connect back to it. Granted, that does get it going again, but what a nuisance to have to do this every time I use it. The firmware is constantly needing updating and that also requires a power cycle to reconnect to WiFi before it can actually do it. I got ink from Amazon that was remanufactured for this printer and came with an "Amazon tested" claim and it worked until the next Firmware update but now the printer can't recognize the same cartridge that was in there before the update. Reverting back to the old firmware version is seemingly impossible, because I can't find a search function for the drivers. And, I know... it's recommended to purchase the branded ink, but my previous printer could handle such atrocities. This machine just takes so much unnecessary labor to use, so I have to recommend against it! The print quality is great, even on double-sided prints so I mean... it does its job. It's just a huge pain to get it to do its job.

    Other than problems with envelopes, it is a nice printer. There was no instruction book in the box. I still like the printer and feel the envelope problems are caused by Windows 1”.

    At this point I am very satisfied with print Quality. I di not find the software very intuitive. Had it been for this I would have given it a five.

    Why my next printer is coming from Staples

    I wanted to like this printer. I read all the reviews and thought it would be a good deal. Plus I had a coupon from Best Buy for 15% off birthday savings during the month of November. Unfortunately, the printer was defective. I couldn't finish the setup because my brand new printer that had never been used kept flashing a paper jam error message. I spent 3 hours trying to figure out the problem. Followed the directions to clear a paper jam, even though there was no paper in it. Checked everything three times over to make sure I didn't miss one of the many pieces of blue tape that held everything in place during shipping. Unplugged and plugged back in. Used the on/off switch. Still could not clear the paper jam error message so I couldn't finish the setup. Boxed it up and returned it to Best Buy in Tinley Park. I asked about exchanging it for another, but since Best Buy doesn't seem to carry stock in their stores on printers, that was not an option. Of course, I was told I could reorder the printer but I'd have to pay full price. No birthday 15% discount. Nevermind the fact the reason it was being returned is because the printer they sent me was DEFECTIVE. Best Buy didn't even seem to care what the problem was. So if I have to pay full price, I'll just buy it elsewhere -- like Staples.

    Bought this printer for a small classroom setting. It works well and does not use much ink. There was an issue with the paper cassette tray, had to get a replacement sent out, but once I receive the replacement everything worked properly and I am very pleased.

    We be jammin'. That's great in a reggae song, but on a printer, not so much. Jammed repeatedly. I've gone through HP, Epson, now back to Canon. Wish me luck.
