I love my printer. I had some troubleshooting to do to connect it to my laptop but otherwise super simple with the download of the app to both android and apple iPhones. Works great.

Great printer, easy set up & nice print/scan on this. I've been hooked on Epson for all in one printers. I've always had the best of luck with them. The old one I have from 2005 still works great but I wanted the wireless and since we are moving the office, I decided to upgrade

I purchased the WF-4820 for work purposes and it does what it is supposed to do, print. Quality seems reasonably good in an office context (haven't tested for photos). Both printer and scanner are easy to use. I love that it is wireless.
It takes some time to set it up, so be patient. EPSON offers several utilities to do everything from PC/mac.

Good efficient printer, most likely you will have to download the software unless you have a CD drive. I had to download the software, the directions from Epson were a bit confusing since there were so many ad-ons. The scans are great (when connected); the scanner feature has issues connecting to email and computer which is super frustrating. When I finally was able to open the scanner program on my computer I was able to scan. Printing from my computer is easy, but the scan feature is frustrating. I do recommend this printer but be aware of the technology when using the scanner. for now, it fits my needs, but if I wanted to scan directly to an email it will not connect to the network.

This worked like a charm right out of the box. Good, clear instructions. I even did it twice because I thought "it's never that easy!" Works wonderfully. It is entry line but does everything I want in a printer: copies, scans (that wasn't as "cool" as with Canon Pixma but at least it works smoothly which my old HP didn't), prints soooooo easily (which my Canon usually didn't), and reduces/enlarges brilliantly (Canon didn't even offer that). So far I am 100% impressed. Got it because it used to have a great reputation, and was so very disappointed (I mean frustrated, angry, almost in tears) over the problems with both my HP and Canon printers. My husband (a programmer) suggested the Epson (couldn't even begin to afford the first suggestion) and I am so glad he did. I have been impressed so far. Will update if I change my mind.

I am so done with HP and their constant desire to control and watch anything we do. The HP+ Ink thing is just too much. So I wanted a printer that worked, and didnt need to be dependent on an internet connection to 'mother ship' every few days (like HP does).
I am not sure why people appear to have issues with this machine..unless they don't know what they are doing (likely) or perhaps a machine might arrived damaged/broken (not likely).
The setup and install was 1-2-3 and took little effort. The installer (macOS must be downloaded - not on CD) worked fine but locked up and crashed on one laptop. Ran it a 2nd time and all was well. No idea what was going on there but I didnt need to call support.
This printer is FAST, fires up FAST and prints/scans FAST.
Is it noisy? - Thats up to the beholder. I didnt think so but it's a printer. They are not really known for being very quiet..I mean come on. It's a printer!
I haven't found any negatives so far except the amount of tape used to secure the printer. It seemed like I was removing blue tape from anywhere and everywhere on the machine - make sure you get all of them.
Priced right. Replacement ink isnt too bad (much cheaper than HP) but supposedly this printer is 'locked' to only using Epson carts, much like HP. I am not sure if there is a work around. All 4 carts of color including black is about $54.

I've had the Epson- Workforce Pro WF-4820 for a month and a half. It has worked flawlessly so far and I'm still using the original set up ink cartridges. I like the cartridges as I don't print every day and don't have to risk the ink drying up. I have scanned documents, printed from Word, Excel and from the Internet. I've also printed labels without any difficulty. The printer had a wonderful touch screen display with I greatly appreciate. I would recommend this printer.

I have tried various brands of printers over the years and for each one was very frustrated. So far, I can say I like the qualities it offers and the size. Speaking with friends, (with Epson printers) they too agree. Value for your money.

Just bought this printer, and the quality is as good as my HP laser printer. This was bought for a client after a build I did. Easy to set up. printing takes a little more time than I'm used to to get started but once it does the quality and productivity are great. I'm still and contact with the buyer and they use it every day and love it.
