I needed a new printer after my HP died. I haven't used Epson before so I decided to give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to set-up and the printing is fast. I am happy with the purchase

The Epson Workforce Pro AIO printer is great for the home office or even small offices! This printer has all of the features you'd expect to see on a good printer and definitely was designed with volume and flexibility in mind. Setup - Setup was very easy out of the box where the on-screen guide on the display walked through the steps to connect to WiFi and set the printer up. Scan/copy/print features work both without a computer and with a computer or tablet/phone with the Epson iPrint app which works pretty good too. Quality and Use - Prints come out fast, sharp and bright as you'd expect to see from an Epson printer. Photos even come out looking great even though this printer isn't necessarily marketed as a photo printer. The double sided printing is a must have and works very well without jamming. Scans are good enough for most everyday scanning and copying. The ADF works surprisingly well and on some printers is actually a weak point where they won't grab papers to scan without jamming -especially in a stack. I was able to copy a color printed manual in just a couple of minutes with ease. The big touch screen display makes using the printer/scanner a breeze! The paper tray is great and large enough to hold enough paper for a decent amount of volume. Some other features.. this is one of the few printers out there that still has the ability to send faxes via telephone line though it would be cool to see Epson partner with a VoIP provider to do this digitally without a phone line but may not be necessary with fax machines becoming less commonly used. Another thing that really isn't called out as a feature but is good to know is that it does support borderless printing all the way up to 8.5x11 which is not something all printers can do and it does support envelopes so you can print mailings. Overall, a great printer and it's a solid machine. If you're working from home and have now setup a home office, this is a nice addition to have!

This is a good printer for home use or the right business. It printers both pictures and documents well and quickly and seems like it will hold up very well. The setup is very easy and the large screen has very nice guides that walk you through every step. The screen is a great size and nice and bright. The wireless setup is very easy and connects well. The software that is included is intuitive and does the job well. The screen makes it very easy to do everything from the printer also. There are a couple downsides: - Scanner lid is just normal hinges so it does not hold open unless it's all the way up. If you let go anywhere but fully open it will slam shut. - There is only 1 input tray so if you need to switch paper size, print on an envelope or picture paper you have to empty the tray to put in the new paper. If you only use one size paper then this isn't really a problem. - The printer is a little louder than other comparable printers I've used, not by much though so probably wouldn't be to noticeable. Overall if you don't mind these little quirks then this would be a great printer for home or small business.

I have had 3 Workforce printers over the years, and this one is definitely the best. This printer was very easy for setup. I downloaded the software from the website and was up and running in 20 minutes from opening the box. The printed pages are clear and crisp with accurate colors. The printing is fast and the quieter than previous versions. The paper tray is easy to use and holds a lot of paper. Love this printer.

I am happy to review this all-in-one from Epson and I must say I am pleasantly surprised in this offering as it has many features of a much higher end unit. The unboxing, set up, and features are all very simple. Installing the software was a breeze and connecting to Wifi was a 15 second process. Utilizing the printer via computer as well as the phone app was also very simple. The printer does indeed print about 25 pages in back and white per minute and half that with color added in. Scanning documents to my computer was intuitive and the quality of scans were perfectly adequate. Copies were just a touch of a button on the large display and print in great quality. I was not able to try the fax feature as, like most now, I do not have a dedicated phone line. All-in-all, I am very happy with this offering from Epson – my first with this brand and it will not be my last. Highly recommended.

Summary ======= WorkForce Pro WF-4820 is an excellent all in one inkjet printer. It is probably the fastest inkjet printer i ever bought. It can print 25 black or 12 color pages per minute. it has a print resolution of 4800x2400 dpi and scanner has a resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi Its wireless and it’s fast and the feeder can hold 250 pages. What's In The Box ===================== WorkForce Pro WF-4820 printer Quick setup guide CD-ROM with drivers (why?) Power cord 4x DURABrite Ultra Ink cartridges (1x Black ink cartridge and 3x color ink Cartridges: 1x Cyan, 1x Magenta, 1x Yellow) Setup ==== The setup is straightforward. Make sure all the packaging tape is off. Inset the ink cartridges (take the tape off); Plug in the printer, follow the onscreen instructions on the 4.3 inch color screen. Once the printer connects to wifi, it will download a software upgrade which takes about 5 minutes. Usage ===== The printer, scanner , Fax and copier can be connected through the laptop or smartphone or tablet. The printer does not come with an included USB cable which i could care less as i did not want to connect through USB cable anyway. The printer can be searched on any network connected PC or MAC and i was able to test both color and black and white copies remotely. Now, this printer also supports EPSON CONNECT which lets you email documents to the printer to print or scan and upload documents to cloud. Once you login into EPSON connect, you can connect epson connect to box, dropbox, google or one drive cloud services to directly load your scanned docs to cloud. On your google or iPhone app, you can use epson iprint app to print document directly from your phone. Overall i think its a good printer for house. Now, the printer comes with starter ink and i dont know how long will the link last. However, if you buy the standard black ink , the yield is 350 pages which is not bad,

Setup of the printer couldn't be easier, and no worries if you don't have a cd drive on your computer - I did it on my phone through the app, and it auto connected on my laptop. Printing is fast and the colors are vivid. This is one of the fastest scanners I've used in a long time, and having the preview available is helpful to make sure everything is lined up. The footprint is that of a typical printer, so if you're placing it in a small area take note of the dimensions. Overall, a great buy if you're looking for a wireless printer that can handle printing multiple pages quickly, and is easy to use.

    Feature-Laden Multifunction

The Epson WorkForce WF-4820 is a solid multifunction device that does it all—print, scan, copy and fax. And it does these tasks quite well. If you’re looking for a high-speed printer, this is not the fastest on the market, but does print speedily at 22 ppm (black) and 12 ppm (color). At this price point you won’t be disappointed. Some of the features are typically more common on higher priced printers. Examples include the 4.3” color LCD touchscreen. Most printers in this class have smaller screens typically 2.7” size or less. But the WF-48920’s larger screen makes it much simpler to read and press buttons for the function you want to perform. I also appreciated the large 250-sheet paper tray. Many multifunction devices do not offer a fax function. The WF-4820 makes this available simply by hooking up your phone line to the device. Installation was a breeze. With a Mac it couldn’t be easier: (1) Load paper and ink cartridges, (2) Find and set up your Wi-Fi network and password, and (3) go to your Mac’s System Preferences app and add the printer. With that you’re done. There is no loading of software to make this device operational. It’s all intuitive. My only complaint is that there is no user manual included, just a foldout setup sheet with numbered steps to activate the printer. Of course, if you need more help, the WF-4820’s User Guide is available on Epson’s website. This multifunction delivers what it promises at a reasonable price. Of course, you can spend more on advanced all-in-ones, but you won’t get much more than what Epson provides with the WF-4820.

    A Must Have Printer!!!

I have heard some great things about Epson’s “WorkForce” printers such as their ability to handle immense printing needs with top-notch efficiency. I do have an ink tank printer from Epson that works great as well as a scanner that is my “go-to” as it has simplified my life immensely by eliminating the paper monster—hopefully for good! This is my first venture into using a WorkForce printer and it has not disappointed. This printer easily can handle small business and/or personal needs with great efficiency. It is an all in one printer that prints, copies, faxes, and scans. I love the fact that it has a 250-tray capacity. I have tried all features except the fax as I do not have a landline within my home. The following are key specs of this printer: • Mobile device printing • 4.3-inch display screen • Color prints 12 ppm • Mono prints 25 ppm • Photo printing • Touch screen capabilities • Network printing The cool thing about this printer is that it is reasonably priced, for all the features it has. The only minus I see is that the printer cartridges are expensive as this is a new device, but with time, I am optimistic the pricing will go down.

I've tried just about every brand of printer there is on the market. Canon, HP, Sony, Brother you name it, I've owned it. I've had an Epson for about 2 years now and I love it, and needed a second printer due to working from home. Choosing Epson was a no brainer for me. I needed something that could print, scan and fax, which most printers on the market do at this point, but I went with Epson because of past experiences. I am not disappointed at all. Set up was simple. I set it up for wireless printing so I could connect multiple devices within my home. I am satisfied with printing speed and quality. It says it can reach speeds up to 25 black pages and 12 color pages per minute. I feel like this is slightly above average. The printing precision is great so far. I tried printing a couple photos on paper just to see how it would come out and I was pleased with the results. I printed out a 50 page powerpoint presentation in color and it took about 2 minutes. The tray was able to hold all of the sheets of paper just fine. The printer itself is pretty heavy and is a bit larger than I would have preferred, but it gets the job done well.
