    I am so disappointed with this printer. I have had several Epsons before and they were excellent. This printer loses it's internet connection frequently. It will work for a while and then I will get the message, "Looking for the printer" and then "Printer is not connected." It is not a trivial matter to go through the entire installation process again, hoping not to make a mistake somewhere and have to start over. Unless you are really tech-savvy and love a challenge, think twice before you buy it.

    The printer is not very user friendly when it comes to printing envelopes. I wasted an entire morning trying to get it to print a standard number 10 envelope that I had saved was able to print on my old printer.

    Used lots of ink, cant fax many pages, paper always jams when you want to make copies or fax something.

    I wanted to love this printer, but it's been trying me these past 2 weeks. It refuses to print. I have waited more than two hours in total, with Epson technical support, to address the printing and scanning problem with this printer. It's exhausting to say the least. I will have to return and search for something else.

    Sneaky Updates Disables Ink Cartridges

    Good functionality - UNTIL you run out of ink (which is very fast). And Epson updates the device firmware to make it non-compatible with 3rd part ink cartridges. The result: you will pay dearly for official Epson brand ink cartridges, which will likely to be more than the cost of the printer after 1yr of use. There is a class action lawsuit filed against them for this practice... its a mess. AVOID EPSON.

    Terrible product. I ordered it from BestBuy.com on November 16, 2020 and the scanner stopped working in January, right after the last day the printer was returnable. The scanner does not work with the feeder option. The printer also goes through ink much faster than my previous HP printers. This was my first and last experience with Epson. Do not buy. I cannot conscientiously even put one star down for this product.

    Epson - WorkForce® Pro WF-4820 Wireless All-in-One Printer With a 250-sheet paper tray capacity and auto two-sided printing, this Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4820 can make short work of your big print jobs. It can handle high-volume printing at speeds of up to 25 black or 12 color pages per minute. It uses what Epson calls “PrecisionCore Heat-Free Technology™ to go along with its DURABrite® Ultra instant-dry pigment inks to produce real high-quality prints at high speeds. And it can handle paper sizes up to 8.5 x 14”. Included with the printer are four ink cartridges (black and the three different color cartridges), a CD-ROM with drivers, the power cord, and a quick setup guide. You set up the printer using the color touchscreen for quick navigation and control. The 4.3" touchscreen size is a huge improvement over the smaller screens on some of Epson’s other models, such as my ET-2720. And you can download and use the Epson Smart Panel App to help control things from your mobile device. The touchscreen walks you through the setup, step by step, making setup a real breeze. You can connect using either a Wi-Fi or an Ethernet connection. There are some neat features when using the Copy option. You can go from copying one-sided documents to outputting two-sided copies. And you can choose Fit Page, Automatic Reduction and Enlargement (25-400%) The WF-4820 also supports scanning via Epson ScanSmart. Popular scan file formats include PDF, JPEG and TIFF among others. The Auto Document Feeder can handle up to 35 sheets for copying and scanning. Or you can use the included flatbed if that works better for you. Finally, the WF-4820 also includes a fax option. The only downside for me is that it still uses expensive cartridge ink as opposed to their Epson ecotank series of printers which use inexpensive ink tanks. Epson calls it “WorkForce” but I call it “WorkHorse”. A really nice printer at a reasonable price, considering all that it offers.     Black print is too light no matter how you adjust it. My 3rd party ink stop working after firmware update.

Other brands of ink cartridges, and ink supplies, are not compatible, and even if described as compatible, may not function properly or at all.     Had "Printer Tray" Issues

    This printer had major issues that seemed to be a factory failure. It would not recognize that I had the printer tray loaded, and would not print. I had multiple people take a look at this and even contacted the company for help. Not sure if anyone else has encountered this issue, but I was very disappointed. I returned it, and best buy was great with their return policy. I'm now back looking for a printer.

    Boo, so difficult to find a printer in stock the last month or so. I wanted an HP ink jet, or a laser color olif possible. This one was in stock so I got it. It would print one page and say jammed, over and over. I would take it all apart when it said that, it would print another, then say jammed. Returned.

    Easy setting up and syncing with WiFi. Several modes of printing remotely that work really well from anywhere in the house. And it has a default sleep mode, which means you don’t have to go to the printer to turn it on.

    My printer was working well for a couple of months, but I saw a message that there is an update that needs to happen and it’s in the settings menu. There’s nothing in the settings that leads to any update. I called Eason support and, after the obligatory long hold time, worked with a support technician who could not fix the problem. So, my 3 month old printer doesn’t print.

    Disappointing value and basically useless

    Wifi connection is hit-or-miss. I had to purchase as USB cord separately so that it could function. It will now only take Epson's overpriced cartridges and refurbished cartridges are not recognized at all. I have not had a positive experience with this printer after owning in for a year.

    Poor wifi, poor print quality

    This printer is garbage. First one would not setup due to box that catches excess ink not being recognized. The replacement actually setup, but constantly lost wifi connection. Now it is completely unable to pick up wifi. I had to run ethernet cable in order to use it. The print quality is worse than the 10 year old Epson it replaced. Terrible printer, not recommended.

    Do not buy! The printer is not printing good at all. Keep printing blurry words, I waste lots of money on ink buying because I always bought the Epson brand ink to avoid problems but I was wrong. Im going to try the cheap unbranded ink to see and if that doesn't I will take it back to the store.

    I bought this about 2 months ago and already regret my decision. It's giving me an error saying there is paper jammed but there is no paper jammed. I checked online and this is a known issue. I've barely used this printer and the one time I need it the most it became completely useless. Even the cheaper printers wouldn't have done this.

    Just doesn't last.......

    I bought this printer just under 2 years ago and it works well enough considering I rarely print anything. The issue is I can no longer change the printer ink. When I lift the lid to access the printer cartridges the screen displays a message to close the scanner lid. The scanner lid is closed and no matter what I do I keep getting the same message. Time to search for another brand......

    The Printer itself was bulky, heavy and not easy to us. The instructions were NOT explicit or self explanatory. I ended up having to take it to geek squad just to get the ink put in correctly and then after repeated attempts could never get my laptop to recognize it. I ended up having to go to Office Max and got everything done that I needed a printer for and for NO FEE. I took that printer back and thankfully store Manager gave me FULL credit back on it.
