I needed a mobile printer that would print by a direct WIFI connection from my iPhone or iPad, or Windows laptop. The WIFI direct connect instructions made this possible. NOTE: only 4 connections are available by the printers direct WIFI connect. Otherwise, you may also connect and print through your network WIFI. As an attorney, I do not always have access to a Courthouse's WIFI, and thus needed the direct connect option. There is also direct email option that you can do on initial set up. This works great with the local network WIFI or direct USB connection. It's really delayed if you opt to send it when the unit is utilizing its AP option over the Internet. Quality of printed paper is superior. It prints fairly fast and is relatively quiet, which is a necessity in a courtroom. It has a 20 paper feed, which is better than most mobile printers. It feeds paper easily. It comes with a black cartridge and color cartridge, as well as an installed maintenance cartridge with an additional maintenance cartrige. I purchased an additional set of ink cartridges at time of purchase. The maintenance cartridges must be purchased from EPSON and cost $6.99. It won't run if either ink cartridge is empty or if the maintenance cartridge is full, so stock up. It comes with an internal battery as well as working off the AC adapter. From my review of other products, often times the battery pack is not included. The internal self-charging battery is an added benefit if you must print in the absence of an available electric outlet. It does come with a USB connection that will charge the battery. NOTE: the battery will not charge while the unit is in use. The initial battery charge on set-up takes approximately 2.5 hours, so it's the first step. Using an iPhone or iPad, it is possible to edit and print documents from Word, and utilizing the Cloud and Document Pro 7, print directly to the printer. It makes changing and printing contracts or wills away from the office a spot-on process for clients. I have read that it prints approximately 100 sheets per cartridge. I cannot confirm this as I have not printed as many pages. Most important, it's lightweight and well-designed, and AFFORDABLE!! Very pleased with this printer from EPSON!!

Very good service , wanna bring everything home......

I purchased this printer to print among other items e-mail. But I find that it won't print from e-mail, which makes this totally useless. Being ignorant about tablets let alone computers I bought this thinking that even I could work this by simply downloading the app. How wrong I was.

Works fine when it would turn on. When it stopped turning on (yes, it was plugged in to a hot plug, it was charged, I tried pressing-and-holding the power button, etc. etc.), I packed it up to return while still in the warranty period, and it magically turned on. It worked for a couple more months and then it turned off again. Now it is out of warranty. I think I will go back to the portable Canon it replaced. I only used this printers on occasional road trips, so it is not like it was overworked.

I bought this because it was so lightweight and that's its only good feature. The nozzles clog unless it's used about every 12 hours and the maintenance cartridge didn't even last a month because of this. Won't buy again.
