Not as user friendly

Called support and they're not helpful either. Oh well. This is what I get for looking at price instead of quality.

Wireless printer with some issues setting up

This Printer gives me hassles more often than not. One set up it seems to function fine but it is not as easy as other printers.

Printer no longer manufactured

We just got a pop-up notification that it is no longer manufactured and replacement parts (ink??) are no longer available after Nov 2015. Good thing the cost made it a throw away.

Ink is expensive. Intitial cartridge is small.

The controls are hard to use and they are not intuitive. Finally, Epson appears very eager to make lots of money on ink. The initial cartridge does not contain much. The cartridges are engineered to defeat refilling. Read some reviews, there are probably less expensive, total cost including ink, options.

Okay, for occasional use, fax and scanner not easy

Good Buy for Price

All, or dang near most, of the external surfaces are plastic but that's kind of what you get for the money. The print quality is good. No issues with feeder or jammed paper. Haven't changed the ink cartridges but don't expect any issues--seems simple enough. The scanner works fine too. Thumbs up!
