I bought the Epson WF-3620 after much research. I have had just about every other major printer brand out there. This was my first Epson. So far, I am very pleased with it. It has excellent print quality, in black and white or color, obviously better than HP or Canon. It is fast and reliable. My only problem was with setting up the scanner. I had to call customer service for help, but they were prompt and very helpful. Also, I learned their customer service is available for as long as you own the printer - there are no limitations!

BEST multi printer I've ever owned

The price of ink for my previous HP multi printer was so pricey that it justified just buying a new printer. I could not be happier with it. It prints much faster than I'm used to. The automatic document feed (whether you are doing single- or double-sided) always works with no issues. The touch display is easy to understand and laid out well. The WiFi function, as I use it, has no time delay. Great quality printing. It has a closed paper drawer, which I love; no need to clean dust off of the paper before printing! I scan constantly into pdf; the user interface for scanning can make or break the ease of use, and my desire to use the function. The interface is designed better than I've EVER experienced. You have the ability to scan in a simple manner, or in a mode that lets you fine-tune the resolution (dpi) etc. You are also able to set your own profiles (settings). Truly outstanding job by Epson.

This is a replacement for an older Epson printer/scanner/fax & is my first printer that has wireless capabilities. Setup was surprisingly easy even for me & I am not technologically inclined . Print speed is fast & of high quality. Single page scanning seems slower but multiple page scanning seems faster than my older machine. I have not had to use the fax yet but am confident its operation will be as reliable as the other features.

I purchased this Epson printer/scanner when I upgraded to a new PC with the latest Windows. Finding Drivers for my old printer was apparently impossible, so I had to find an alternative. This Epson has all the features I need, plus some great surprises. First of all, the size is perfect for the area I have available. Not too big. It does everything well, fast printing and scanning. But the best part is the capability to print from my iPhone and iPad. You send the image or email message to an email address which is the printer itself. Set-up of this feature is super easy. Now I can print stuff even when I'm miles away from home. I also like the wireless printing capability from my PC. This technology is new to me, and at the price a real deal. By the way, replacement ink cartridges are not all that expensive. Great printer for home use.

When the salesman showed me the printer I thought it a little big. It is little slow to respond to the print command so you may suspect it is not working then it prints beautifully wirelessly. Once it starts, its fast. Best of all, it was so reasonably priced. I had the space so the only reason not 5 stars is for the hesitated response. Copying is faster. I have not tried faxing.

we use it at Duran's Body Shop & Wrecker Service on a daily basis. We send faxes, print estimates and forms, scan supplements and scan insurance and collision paperwork throughout the day with no issues. It prints fast and with great quality. It scans several items without a hitch and scan several items without problems. Usually, you get what you pay for, not this time... I got way more than I paid for.

Presentation/Availability: Product was well packaged with no broken/opened box. There were many available at the store. Performance: Easy to setup, just follow the provided instructions and you’ll be fine. Once it was setup, it connected to my Wi-Fi network really quick. The printing, copying and scanning quality is very good, no detail is lost. Color printing is a must for me, so after evaluating other options, I decided to go with this model. Good amount of pages per ink refill. I strongly recommend that you download the Epson app to your phone/tablet. You can print wirelessly (through Wi-Fi) from your phone, so printing photos or .PDF documents from the phone is extremely useful and easy. Customer service: Very good customer service. I was greeted by an employee as soon as I walked through the door and helped me to contact the correct employee at the right area for getting my product, which I did quickly.

Needed a printer for home with flexibiity. Purchased this after browsing in store for something with a bunch of features, but not a bunch of money. Lucky enough to find this one on sale. While it isn't the smallest printer of the bunch, it quickly scans multiple sheets, and prints quickly and accurately. Setup was quick and easy, and downloading drivers for mac was a breeze. Would definitely buy again!

I love this printer. The price was reasonable, it's performance is speedy, is easy to set up and works well over WiFi. I use it every day, mostly for scanning, but if I need to print, the bulk-load paper tray means I don't have to add paper every time I fire up the printer, and it prints faster than any other SOHO printer I've had.

We've had this printer for almost a year now and it is still pushing the pages out with the same clarity as day one. I haven't had to fix a single thing and have only had minimal paper jams (with the automated scanner only). As for wireless capabilities, iPad/iPod/iPhones have all had no issue connecting and worked marvelously without me having to do anything more than connect it to our network. It's a great all-in-one out of the box.

We needed a new all in one printer with color. Our old HP was done. This had all the options we wanted and a great price. We got it home, set up was pretty easy, got computers and phones set up with the Epson print apps and it went smoothly. We have not gone through a 250 pages yet, but the speed and quality are great for our needs.

Love it. Setup was a breeze. My iMac prints wirelessly with the Epson software. My Macbook prints wirelessly with Apple's AirPrint. Either way, it works every time. So far, no need to shut down everything and start over because of some hang-up involving the printer, computer and wi-fi network.

I am very impressed by my Epson WF-3620 printer. It is very fast, has good print quality, and so far has been quite reliable. (I've had it for one month.) My previous printer (a Dell/Lexmark) frequently went offline and required a computer reboot to become usable again, but this printer has never done that. I've had no paper jams. I don't use fax, so I can't talk about that. The scanner works fine, including the automatic document feeder, and dual-sided scanning. Copying is easy. Dual-sided printing works fine. All these are fast. I haven't tried yet to print any photos. Text and graphics are very clear, very well defined. Setup was fairly easy, though the instructions were weak. In general, the (online) manual is poor. I'm still using the original ink cartridges that came with the printer, though I'm not a heavy user.

This printer is a good replacement. It is a bit noisier than our old printer, but so far it has been very reliable. We do many scans, and this seems to be a pretty seemless process. It is reasonably fast and seems to be a good printer for the money. We look forward to using it.

I am really happy with this all in one printer. Although I am great with using a computer, I am completely clueless when it comes to the technical side of installing a new printer, so I had a friend help set most of it up; then I called Epson support (very easy to reach) for the rest. They were little curt and tried to rush me, but we got through it and set up the rest. It faxes and scans just fine and prints really fast. The quality of the printing is fine for my personal use. I can't speak for others who may need better quality for a business. It is a bit loud, but that is no big deal for me. I highly recommend this printer for anyone needing a basic all in one. Now the only things I can't speak to are how well it will hold up and the cost of replacing the ink; I do not print that much so I think I can live with the ink cost since the printer was a great sale price.

    Great Quality, But High Maintenance

I've had Epson printers in the past, none of which scored a huge 5-star with me, but I think that's par for the course with any printer. Back in January (5 months prior) I purchased the Epson WorkForce WF-3640, which is identical to this one except it has 2 trays. I looked through a lot of reviews before purchasing it, and overall I've been happy with it. So when it came time to get a second printer for my other desk, I went with the smaller single-tray size (this Epson WorkForce WF-3620). I suppose my review is actually hitting both of these printers since they are pretty much the same, and what I have to say applies to them both. I use this printer as an office printer in my family's small business. I print a lot of letters, flyers, post cards, business cards, signs, etc. • The size is nice. It's not tiny by any means, but it's not a huge monster hogging my entire desk. In my opinion, it's a nice size considering it's a multi-function all-in-one printer. • The print quality is excellent. I've printed numerous letters, flyers, post cards, and signs on it. The text comes out sharp, and images are crystal clear. • The paper type settings are finicky. When you put paper into the tray, the printer will have you set the paper type (such as "Plain Paper"). If you change the paper type on the computer dialogue box (such as "Cardstock"), the printer will pop up a message that the paper types do not match (printer is set to "Plain Paper", but the computer said we're printing on "Cardstock"), it will ask if you want to proceed on "Plain Paper", and you have to manually select yes or no. If your printer is sitting right next to your computer, it's not a huge inconvenience to tell the printer what to do...if not, you'll have some leg work to run back and forth. At best, it's annoying, especially when you're multitasking and you just want to hit go and have the job print. • The borderless print setting is bit high-maintenance. I have to say that I love that this printer actually has a borderless print setting. However, it is a bit picky about what paper type it wants to use for borderless; and it won't do double-sided on the borderless setting. You can finagle the settings to get what you want...or when wanting borderless double-side, a quick job of print side A, flip over and print side B gets around that just fine...but once again, it's more involved than simply hitting print and having the job print. • The rear tray is extremely high-maintenance and an overall pain. It only holds a single sheet of paper that has to be manually "fed" into the machine; you literally push it in until the printer sucks in the edge and gives the okay to proceed printing. Loading one page at a time is a huge inconvenience when trying to print a batch job of letters, flyers, post cards, etc. Definitely not something you can let print in the background while moving on to something else. Also, I've had a hard time getting the paper to feed through perfectly straight. If you're trying to print borderless from the rear tray, there's a good chance you'll have a sliver of white on one edge where it fed in at an ever-so-slight crooked angle. This has also played havoc with business cards and post cards that I run through a cutting machine, or flyers that are folded. • The ink is probably it's biggest downfall in my opinion. Genuine Epson ink advertises as about 300 pages per cartridge. I have yet to get 100 pages before it's beeping at me to replace the cartridge (and the job I used to test this was a newsletter cover that only had 3 title headers, comprising maybe 1/5 of the page at most, plus black text). We tried some knock-off third-party cartridges because of the cost difference, but the machine recognizes they aren't Epsons and the ink heads quickly clog up to the point an entire color will be out of commission. No amount of head-cleanings or nozzle checks clear it up. However, when genuine Epson ink is put back in, then it miraculously clears up on the second head-cleaning. Whether this is pure coincidence or Epson's ingenuity to force you to buy their expensive (albeit higher quality) ink, the cost of using genuine Epson ink with this printer isn't exactly "cheap", and third-party inks don't always work. • Sometimes the printer will disconnect from the network. We use it as a wireless network printer, and a few times it has disconnected, changing IP addresses at random. I haven't figured out what's causing this, but it's relatively simple to fix when it does happen. • Scanning to the computer works well, and making copies is a breeze. I have not used any of the other features of this printer to give a review on them. Overall, the print quality is fantastic but the machine itself is extremely high-maintenance and picky. It's a great office printer, but you'll need to plan on babysitting it until your print job is finished. I rate it at a 4-star because the cons have less to do with the printer quality and more to do with my own irritations and annoyances. Overall, I have been happy with the printer and would recommend this product to a friend.

I bought this printer based on pevious reviews and the good rating it had received and so far we are very happy with our purchase. We needed a home family printer scanner all in one that is easy to use, compact and affordable and this machine was the right choice for us. The kids love the wireless feature to print their homework, I can print from my iPhone and the quality of the documents is good. We also printed few basic color pictures as part of a homework with no issues. This printer was also easy to install and connect. I didn't give 5 stars because i can't comment yet on durability and ink/cartidge prices and haven't tried printing large documents...
