Customers have good things to say about the WorkForce WF-3620's print quality, ease of use, and wireless functionality. Many appreciate its reasonable price and compact size, along with the convenient setup and inclusion of fax and scanning capabilities. However, some users find the printer to be somewhat loud during operation and have noted challenges with the paper tray. Overall, the positive feedback on key features outweighs the reported minor drawbacks.

I switched printers for two reasons. One, I lost the cord to hook up my HP printer to my computer and I always had issues trying to hook it up wirelessly. And 2, the HP printer I had wasted too much ink. This Epson printer is really fast and doesn't use nearly as much ink as the HP did. The copies/prints I've gotten from it, are of very high quality. Setting the printer up with my wireless network was very easy, unlike the HP I had before. Overall a really good product so far, and very easy to set up and use!

Great if you need scanning presets

My context: I scan a lot of documents (of many sizes), and I need software that allows me to save scanning presets. My previous all-in-one printer (HP) was excellent for this, but they changed the software and eliminated the scanning presets, which made it very difficult for me to use. I researched other brands, and Epson seemed to be the only one with a strong software package that allows scanning presets. So Epson was the way to go for me. After reviewing several Epson all-in-ones, including playing with them at a physical Best Buy store, I decided on this WorkForce model because it has a solid construction - the Expression series has higher specs, both in scanning and printing, but the construction is flimsy. This WorkForce model does just what I need - print well enough, scan fast enough, and a solid construction - with the software that I need. And, the auto-update software is professionally built and occasionally gives me firmware updates. And, the printer is wireless, and I have no trouble connecting to it from any of my computers. And, the printer allows me to VERY easily send a printout to it from my smartphone by simply sending it an email - it has its own email address, so I can literally print to it from any device. Two thumbs up!

Overall A great printer, easy to set up toner was easy to install no problems at all, it does take 6 mins for printer to activate or setup not including anything that you have to do. Total time was less than 20min and it was ready to print. The ink is smudge proof which is great for when you print out barcodes or office documents. its fast at printing and the touch screen is very responsive, I would buy this model again.
The toner is a little on the expensive side but it clams it will last long than others, we will see.

The Epson Workforce WF 3620 is just that, a workforce to be reckoned with. Not only does it print fast, it prints double sided which is one of the main reasons I bought it. This also scans, copies and faxes which has been a great help to me in my work. By all means, if you are in the market for a new printer, this is the one you want. The price is also great.

This is my second Epson Work Force series printer and have enjoyed the print quality and ease of use. I'm even able to send print jobs remotely without any issues and that to me is super important as I tend to be away from home and need to send documents to my printer securely for review later

I bought one of these printers for myself earlier this year and just purchased one for my son's dorm. The set up is pretty easy. I am the worst with computers, so that says a lot. My printer has been great. I almost killed it trying to put labels in the back feeder tray. I ended up putting them in the main tray and it worked fine. I gave it 4 stars because the colors aren't very vivid and the touchpad isn't very sensitive. However, this printer is such a great price and has been a million times more reliable than the HP it replaced. I can live with those issues. Scanner is easy to use. I have had to replace the black cartridge, but none of the other colors. Seems to do well with ink.

Quality printing for awesome price. Print many paper size include envelope. Let you go wireless from any blue Wi-Fi, but it still does the job. Not quiet just minor noise which is not too bad. Would recommend to anyone for better quality printing.

I use this printer for both personal and professional needs. It was easy to set up. Pretty much just plug it in and load the ink cartridges. I mostly print wirelessly from my iPad and after typing in my network password it was ready to go. A great all around printer. Not too big and very user friendly.

I am very impressed by my Epson WF-3620 printer. It is very fast, has good print quality, and so far has been quite reliable. (I've had it for one month.) My previous printer (a Dell/Lexmark) frequently went offline and required a computer reboot to become usable again, but this printer has never done that. I've had no paper jams.
I don't use fax, so I can't talk about that. The scanner works fine, including the automatic document feeder, and dual-sided scanning. Copying is easy. Dual-sided printing works fine. All these are fast.
I haven't tried yet to print any photos. Text and graphics are very clear, very well defined.
Setup was fairly easy, though the instructions were weak. In general, the (online) manual is poor.
I'm still using the original ink cartridges that came with the printer, though I'm not a heavy user.

I recently purchased the Epson Workforce 3620 as a replacement for an HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus that developed an "ink system failure." I had issues with that printer during the whole time I owned it and it was as cheap to buy a new printer than to replace the printhead. I had a few difficulties setting up the Epson including missing one of the pieces of tape that keep things from shifting around during shipping. I also found out that you should not hook up the printer to the computer until the computer is already booted up and to be sure to check for printer driver updates before using the printer. Set-up was accomplished with the help of an online chat with Epson that was very helpful. Once all was done, the printer has been a very good performer. It is a little noisy as noted in other reviews but it really is not so noisy as to be objectionable. It is fast and the print quality is also very good. I have the printer hard-wired through a USB connection since I do not absolutely need the wireless connection. I know that other reviewers have dissed the printer because of issues with maintaining wireless connectivity but I fault their own networks for wireless issues. Time will tell whether this will be a good purchase or not. I like this printer better than the replaced HP due to the smaller footprint despite having similar features. I got this printer on sale and so far it is a very good value and a very good choice.

I FINALLY REPLACED MY VERY, VERY OLD HP PRINTER, WHICH HAD BEEN SO FAITHFUL AND HAD ENDURED YEARS OF SERVICE AND POSTAGE LABEL PRINTING. IT WAS NEVER ONE QUARTER THE PRINTER THAT THIS PRINTER IS!! THIS PRINTER WAS SO VERY EASY TO SET UP, AND SO VERY CRISP AND CLEAN TO OPERATE AND USE. THE WI-FI PRINTING IS EASY TO USE AS WELL.
I LOVE THIS PRINTER AND HAVE BEEN USING IT EVERYDAY FOR MY SMALL IN HOME BUSINESS AND FOR ALL OF MY FAMILY'S HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS. EASY, EFFICIENT, FAST, IT IS SO MUCH BETTER THAT I EXPECTED.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRINTER TO ANYONE THAT NEEDS A NEW PRINTER. THE COLORS ARE CLEAR AND CRISP. THE PRINT CARTRIDGES ARE NOT EXPENSIVE, EITHER.
A GREAT PRINTER. A GREAT PRICE!! EPSON HAS MADE A 5 ***** PRODUCT!!

Very simple to install and easy to use. It´s not bulky so it doesn´t take up that much space in our home office. Love that it´s wireless so I don´t have to deal with all those dreaded cables. Great printer!

This is indeed my first printer. I have always use professional printing service thus never have the need to own one.
For this printer i have shop around and read numerous reviews before putting my money down.
This printer does the job, Very similar quality compare to my printing service. It's fast accurate and relatively easy to use.
I did encounter some connection issue on wireless side especially during the first connecting for printing. Sometimes it loses connection and require to reconnect.
The color quality is above average, I have not try the photo print to see if the photo result is adequate however for average documentation this is more than suffice.
I would conclude that for office printing purpose, this really does a good job. For the price of less than $100. This is a bargain.

For such a cheap price, this thing is amazing! I wasn't sure what the quality of this printer would be in comparison to the color lasers I use and I've got to say, this Epson prints at the same quality as my lasers. I also love having wifi connectivity so I can print without cables and from my phone. Set up was easy and I was in business printing away within four minutes. Both the copying and scanning functions are accurate and simple. I'd recommend this AIO printer to anyone on a budget or a free spender!

Simple to use, works perfectly! I had bought (and returned) the comparable HP printer (don't buy!!!) and, after 3 returns/replacements, gave up and bought the comparable Canon printer - it was larger than described (which I could have lived with) but I couldn't print locally while using Microsoft Remote Desktop (which is free). Canon's answer from "customer support" was to stop using Remote Desktop and begin using a third party app (such as LogMeIn, which is NOT free). So back goes the Canon - and in comes the Epson. Had I only known in the beginning! BTW, with the HP and Canon, I had to have the IT person I use at my office to help me with these printers – and with his 30+ years of experience, even he was scratching his head at some of the issues we experienced (not to mention the very poor customer service we received).

Needed to replace my all-in-one Lexmark for another machine due to mechanical issues. I had become accustomed to the services of an all-in-one: scanner, fax, copier and printer. I had a limited budget and wanted something that was reputable and would be good for the price. After much research I kept coming back to the Epson. This all-in-one's selling points were a paper tray, separate ink cartridges, and easy set-up, but most impressive is the Wifi printing capability from handheld devices and laptops. The reaction time from print request to printing is very fast, but the initial download is a little loud. I am very pleased with this product and happy that I got it for an affordable price.

Easy to set up. Easy to use. Really reliable. Have struggled with the diminished quality of HP printers and their invasive software for years. Used a [shudder] Dell printer which should've rightly been used as a boat anchor. The WF-3620 simplified printing service for the entire household. It was easy to install. I even trust it to do two-sided printing. The software is still more invasive than I'd like, but nowhere near as annoying as HP. I really like this product.

I bought the Epson WF-3620 after much research. I have had just about every other major printer brand out there. This was my first Epson. So far, I am very pleased with it. It has excellent print quality, in black and white or color, obviously better than HP or Canon. It is fast and reliable. My only problem was with setting up the scanner. I had to call customer service for help, but they were prompt and very helpful. Also, I learned their customer service is available for as long as you own the printer - there are no limitations!
