I purchased this printer to replace my Epson WF 3540 assuming they would be very similar. Boy was wrong! The WF 3640 software would not download onto my computer properly even after hours of trying and retrying so in order to get it to print my documents l now have it connected with a cable. The WF 3640 requires three steps just make copy; whereas the old version only required one (step one to push the copy icon, step two to push the start button, step three to let it know that yes, you've put the document on the scanner glass). This new model consistently defaults back to one into two sided copying (takes two pages and copies the second page onto the back of the first). Changing it back to one sheet copying each time takes another four steps ( 4 different buttons/ icons to push). There are countless other frustrating features on this model; the least of which is that it uses LOTS of ink and the cartridges are very expensive, especially since most places only sell the black in combo with the color cartridges. If you purchase this machine expect to have piles of color cartridges and never enough black ink. In the two weeks I've had it, I've come close to tossing it on the front lawn more times than l can count; l recommend that you save yourself the frustration and expense and pass on buying this hunk of junk.

This printer does not sort the paper size for you. You have to take the time to choose the paper size between printing documents which is very time consuming. I paid more to purchase a dual tray printer with auto select but it does not work. Very unhappy with my purchase. ;-(

fewer ink cartriges to buy, more functions than I had on my older epson, everything works!
