I've had this printer for 2 months. Just bought my third black ink cartridge. Started saying ink (black) low immediately after we changed the cartridge. You have to acknowledge it's low on ink by hitting "ok" to get it to print. PIA. I wish we had saved the box so I could return it.

I thought this would be a great product as it did practically everything, but the wireless set up was tedious and in the end didn't work. It took about 45 minutes on the phone with the manufacturer before they realized there was a product recall on this model because of the problem I was experiencing.

Very difficult to set up wirelessly on any computer. I have HP, Lenovo, Asus and Alienware laptops. Software to set up the printer does not work for installation on any of these laptops. All have Windows 7 through Windows 10 operating systems on them. Two computers are two years old, one machine is a year old and the other two are brand new. After just three months of use the print heads clog up. The print head cleaning function on the printer does nothing to fix the problem. I tried the wet paper towel fix I found on the internet and tried it. It cleared up the problem for a week and then the print heads clogged up again. Going to buy a new printer today. Going back to an HP printer.

it looks nice and work good but if you let it set for more than two days without using it the ink would dry up in it and there was no fixing it to get the pictures to come out looking good like then did when i 1st got it

The printer died last month after 10 months of use. Looking online the failure appears to be a common one. The only thing that got it up to 2 stars is the fact that Epson did exchange it for a new/refurbished unit. We'll see how long this one lasts.

    Poor ink usage software design

This product was designed to make sure it gets every penny it can out of you in regards to ink. If one of the color cartridges has been expended, it will let you print in black and white a few times, but will all of sudden stop letting you choose this option until you have replaced the expended color ink cartridge, making the printer almost useless until you have changed the expended cartridge. You can still scan, but that’s about it. This is a very poor design in the software of this printer and if I could return it and go back to HP, I would.

Replaced this TWICE under warranty. Given 2 stars because customer service was excellent. Print heads were damaged both times. Wasted a lot of ink going through the steps to get them to replace it.

If I had not thrown the box away I would have returned this printer within a week. It is unreliable, slow and has a terrible interface for scanning to Dropbox/cloud drives. To scan to the cloud you have to go through a menu, which is very slow, for every document you scan. The printer rarely printed anything we sent to it and was off the network most of the time (maybe it was a location issue, maybe not, but our Epson worked fine in the exact location). I think the unreliable nature explains why the price was only $99.
