We bought three Epson printers this year. All three inkjet, all three different models. All three had to be returned before the warranty expired for faulty print heads. All three were replaced with new printers. All three of the new printers broke with the same problem as soon as the warranty was up. Getting hold of someone from Epson is just about a full time job. I will never be buying an Epson Printer again. Poor quality, poor customer service, poor product.

This all-in-one printer started out fine. I was impressed with the features and I had no problem. Shortly before the year was up it died. (Fatal error).. I called and explained the problem and they sent out a replacement (recond) and it worked for less than 2 weeks. Now it has suffered another error. This is now a week past the warranty. I will see what happens next.

I should have taken back. It costs way too much money to print. Buying ink every week and not really printing that much. Very disappointed with product.

    Workforce Printer WF-3640

I bought this online 04-22-2015. I followed directions and it set up with ease. Works wonderful. In my humble opinion, I think that some of the problems that people say they have had with this printer is only because the setup instructions were not followed very carefully. It runs very quiet and very smooth. As advertised, it contains a fax, a scanner, a printer and a copier. For the overall price, you are only paying about $ 32.50 for each of those 4 items contained in this unit....not to mention many extra features built in. So, if you are looking at this and thinking that you only want a "cheap printer"... well, you may want to rethink your decision. Your "cheap printer" may cost you more than the printer contained herein, not to mention that you would have to do without the other items if you didn't purchase this, or, a similar "All In One" unit. In my personal opinion, this unit is well designed, well priced, and well worth owning.

Overall printing is fine. But if you're not printing on a regular basic it's a waste cause it dries up too fast.

    Printed great for nine months

I have bought several Epson printers and had good success with them; however, this printer started printing blurry in about nine months. I tried everything, clean the heads, replace the ink (with Epson brand ink), uninstalled/reinstalled, updated drivers. I have given up on this printer and Epson. A mid-priced inkjet all-in-one should last at least two years. In short, this printer sucks.

I purchased the printer 1/9/16. I have printer 540 pages. I am getting a white stripe in any blue areas. I ran the test and seen there was a missing blue dot. I ran the head clean several times trying to restore the missing blue. This used all of my blue ink. I thought that if I replaced the ink cartridges that would fix the problem. $38.19 for new Epson Color cartridges and now the blue and yellow have stripes.

    Awesome printer

I used to own the WF-2540, but needed a larger printer with more paper capacity. This WF-3640 is an awesome printer. Setup was a breeze. I have it connected via Ethernet to my desktop computer and wireless to my laptop. The eprint and webprint feature for my iPhone and iPad have been very easy to set up as well as the virtual email address you can set up from your devices. I love to finally have 2 paper trays and can switch easy from letter to legal size or feed one tray with photo paper. Operation is nice an quiet, printout in excellent quality and print speed very fast. Scanner works amazingly fast. I can't say anything about the Fax feature, as I do not have a landline phone. I haven't looked in the manual once, just follow the quick start guide, and you are fine. Doing the setup in the order it is listed on that quick start guide is crucial.
