easy to use and set up very quick and quiet and clean printing

We were very excited to to the Epson wf-3640, which we thought would save on ink over our HP. Initially, the print quality was great, and it is extremely easy to use as well. The printing is fast and it warms up quickly compared to other ink jets we have used in the past. However, we have a b&w laser printer which we use when we don't need color or top quality printing, and intended the Epson to be a secondary printer and primary scanner. Well, since the print heads are built in and the ink is a fast drying kind, the ink jets clogged up. It used up a lot of ink (whole new set of cartridges) using the print nozzle cleaning mode to get it semi-functional (prints, but now poor quality). Well, I suppose if I made a point to use it at least once a week, maybe this wouldn't have happened, but if I have to print color just to keep it working, then the cost savings of this printer goes out the window. I think if you are using this all the time, it is probably a great printer, but for occasional use, better to go with something else.

This is a good printer. I purchased it on sale so that was a plus. This is my first time using an Epson printer (usually purchased or used HP Printers). With all the features this printer comes with it was a no brainer to try it out and see what happens. PROS - Print quality is amazing!!! Features out of the wazoo. The wireless capability along with the SD/USB capabilities not to mention the touch screen was major plus. Honorable mentions: 2 sided printing, extra paper feeder tray for Legal/specialty paper and the photo/envelope tray. The ink is kind of on the expensive side but thats with pretty much every printer nowadays. I like the 15% off Best Buy offers on ink so I can't complain. Cons - When I fax or scan to my computer, the image looks horrendous. I have to constantly make adjustments (settings) and sometimes have to say forget it and fax/scan from my old printer. This doesn't happen when I am making a copy or when I print. I tried everything to fix the problem short of bringing it back. Also, the document feeder constantly gets jammed when you copy more than five pages at a time, so there's that. Overall, I really like that this printer has so many features. it's just those cons that won't allow me to give it a higher rating.

I love this printer....it works great for our small business. I love the way it prints off two sided brochures. This is the perfect printer for me. We are very satisfied with it.

This is hands down the handiest printer ever. Can print on the go. And cam give out the printers email address so others can 'mail' documents and they just print out. I'm amazed. Scanning from the adf directly to the smart phone. I rarely ever use the pc for anything. Seriously amazing tool.

Wireless color all-in-one printer. Now my family has a conveniently-located shared printer where they can send their jobs without tromping into my studio. They can even scan documents at the printer (using the platen or the feeder) and send the result to the computer of their choice. And, did I mention that the price fit my budget? Next step is to connect the FAX feature to the phone service.

Have an Epson WF 3640 printer that works brilliantly. Scans well and prints without bleeding. Very clear reproductions

this printer was easy to set up and WiFi printing is fast. still using ink that came with printer. much quieter then my old printer.

I bought this on an impulse buy but absolutely love it. The paper trays combined will hold 500 sheets so having to re-fill is not going to be an often occurrence. The printer prints remarkably fast and at great quality and cloud printing friendly with several options makes this a win win. Don't think about it, just hit buy!

i really like this epson printer, it contains all i need in one printer. i can now fax from home every time i need.

I have always had great luck with Epson printers. The set up on the 3640 was quite easy and flawless. The image and color quality on the 3640 was at best disappointing. Despite all the cleaning and changing of the cartridges (the cartridges were changed even when not empty thinking that just maybe some of the inkjets were defective) the color quality did not improve. I've had this printer for about a month and have put close to 2 reams of paper through it but it appears this Epson will be returned.

I always had a problem with HP printers, after like 3-4 years something is wrong. My friend suggested this brand to me and wow this printer is freaking amazing. It pretty much does everything you need for a small business, yet its just our home printer. I love how the paper is inside a tray and not sticking out like HPs. The setup was super easy and the way it prints, I couldn't be happier. We got this for $150 on sale, now I see its $200.

the hardest part of setting this printer up is remembering that it has to be manually set up with the IP address of the printer. after that its easy peasy. Prints good quality and fast so far. Well see how long the cartridges last.

I like the printer because I needed air print for my apple devices. I didn't want an expensive apple printer that may not work well. I needed to print from ipad's and iphones and mac's in general. It worked. No issue. I had to install the drivers for my VIAO to work but otherwise the apple devices found the printer with no issue.

This is my first Epson printer, and so far it has been an excellent machine. It is a fast and simple set up. It is a nice speedy All-in-One. It is much more intuitive than HP and works faster than HP. I do not use FAX, so I cannot comment on that function.

This is a great printer, the only problem I had is that it wouldn't print color at first , but after talking to the tech we did 2 nozzle cleanings and then it's printed great ever since, it has better wifi then lexmark, and better paper feeder then hp. I would recommend this printer.

Great printer for home office! I have never owned a Epson and it works great!

This printer is by far the best bang for your buck. It prints well, no jamming so far. Clear colors and vibrant colors. Easy to use from a mobile app is well. Finally no more paying for ticket fees to deliver my tickets! Lol
