easy to install...easy to operate...nice size..not to big

I enjoyed my new printer, this is the item I needed.

I was looking for an inexpensive dual-tray all in one inkjet printer. I read through a lot of reviews and it was still not clear which one I should buy. So, I went with the new version of the Epson I had previously. Turns out it's a great printer! Set up was a breeze, print quality is better than average, and so far, the ink cartridges are lasting pretty well. Overall a great purchase.

Read a lot of negative reviews after I purchased this printer. I'm philosophical about those things normally, so I was undeterred. However, within the first usage there were problems. I've been a graphic designer for 28 years, so I'm not new to printers and how they work. EXAMPLE: I had an InDesign file (black & white only) with a master page set up with vertical copy with the top facing left. A master page sets up ALL PAGES in the file the same way. I sent pages 1-20 to print. First 10 pages were fine. P11 had the copy flipped with the top facing right. P12 and 13 were correct, then P14 & P15 were fllipped, P16 - 19 were correct, P17 flipped. I sent one set of print instructions for one print job containing all 20 pages and didn't touch it. The printer arbitrarily and randomly flipped pages the wrong direction. ANOTHER EXAMPLE: Sent another multiple page print job from a different file (CMYK). First 6 pages were perfect. 7th page had altered colors - muddy, dark and nothing resembling the correct colors or the colors printed in the first 6 pages. No settings were changed mid-print, not by me at least. Did a nozzle cleaning with no change, still dark and muddy. I had to build a completely new file from scratch. I was printing several files that needed to be assembled after printing and they needed to match. Some of the other files printed fine and some did the color change thing MID-PRINTJOB. Cleaning the nozzles did not fix it. Never, in 28 years have I had so many random, strange printer related problems at one time. Since each of these problems happened within a single print job where part printed perfectly and part was totally wrong, it is conclusively a printer issue. The only way I was able to successfully finish my projects was to print ONE PAGE AT A TIME. With several multipage pieces to be printed where quality was paramount, this became a ridiculously long process. Cost me $100's in expensive, special ordered paper. This printer is brand new. I used to buy Epson printers exclusively, but this is the last Epson I will ever own. It's very heavy for me to manage on my own, but I will return it and buy another brand. Do yourself a favor. Read and believe the reviews. This printer is a lemon. There are many, many people out there who agree with me. I guess that's why it was marked down over $100 when I bought. Epson is obviously trying to clear them out. NOTE: this review is no reflection on Best Buy. They're good folks. I have no complaint with Best Buy, only Epson.

Love the docs the printer puts out - both from the computer and copies. I am having a great deal of difficulty getting the computer to recognize my printer. I think I have clicked on the correct option but nothing happens. Why can't I get it to default to the correct option? It is really maddening. Sometimes I just don't think that the people who set up these machines make it user friendly. Why can't it be intuitive so the ordinary person can figure out how to operate the machine without having a "Geek Squad" degree!!! My recommendation is conditional. Great printing. Fast. Has the options I want, just not friendly.

the printer is very friendly. I use it a lot for work.

My Fiance uses this printer to do different craft projects. The printer itself has decent print outs, but the color scheme is a bit limited. She has already had to clean the print cartridges (2 months). Other than that little snapfu, she has no issues with printing various fonts, sizes, etc. The wireless capability is great, and you can even print from your phone. If you are looking for a entrance level multi-functional, this is a great start. (Have not tried faxing, because seriously..... Email it!)

Had this about two months now and it does everything as advertised. It copies and prints quickly. The wifi printing option is great as I can print right from my phone.

Ink is very inexpensive. All in one is very ready to use. The preset buttons are very helpful. Hope lots of paper and the WiFi printing is easy to use especially when printing from phone or tablet

Bought this to replace a much more expensive unit that died. Very happy with the image quality, speed and ease of operations it has. Easy to get to the ink cartridges too. It will do just fine.

I needed a new printer because the 2 printers (a color LaserJet and an inkjet) were not working. I needed a printer that has a rear feed option because some of items have to be fed in straight. I have been doing this for over 20 years and have gone though many printers and I'm very impressed with this one!!! GREAT PRINTER!!!
