Best large format Scanner/printer for the office

I found out that this model can scan 11x17" documents! and can print 13" wide! This is really what sold me. You cannot get an 11x17" scanner for less than $300! It also has large capacity paper trays for 8-1/2"x11" paper which is handy. I think it also does faxing as well. So this does everything we need to do in our office and then some....

Had difficulty initially

No scan to email.

However when I went to Best Buy to purchase a printer I told the sales person that I was specifically looking for a printer that would scan to email. He assured me that this printer would scan to email. After setup I found that this printer would not scan to email. I do not appreciate being mislead by the sales person at Best Buy. I have considered numerous times returning the printer but as I said in opening other than the scan to email issue it is a great printer. I would recommend this printer to anyone that does not need the scan to email feature.

So far so good

A good printer for the price. haven't had to buy ink yet so I don't know if it will live up to it's " Less expensive than Laser jet" claim. The only issue I have is really for the industry not just this printer. That is, printing to a local network from a Chrome Book is not straight forward and not for non techies. Google Cloud print is fairly easy to set up though.
