’ve used this device for three years and just bought my second one, so overall I’m satisfied. However, the software can be glitchy. One issue I had was with a previous update—it took forever to clear media data to free up space, which is something the manufacturer really needs to improve. Solid product, but the software experience could be better.

A good addition to the escort radar detector and works with the drive smarter app BUT the recording quality is abysmal especially when in motion. It can capture license plates only when very close and even then the image is blurry and pixelated. Would be nice if there was an option to change the bitrate to increase video quality.

This dash cam has clarity and precision. Starts up quick and the app works great as well.

Phenomal dash cam. Easy to install, clear images, and pairs well with my other devices. I debated buying one for quite a while and now wished I bought one a long time ago. Great protection on the roads. HIGHLY recommend!

Very nice radar detector add on. You never know when it will be needed

Camera works however its only 1080p, its clear but should be better. For the price i would expect the software to work better but its a big let down. Only reason i didn't return its because it works with my radar detector and minimize wires and mounts.

I was hesitant at first as I use a Uniden R3 and was not sure if this will mesh together. It has worked out great this far. The only issue i would say that I’ve encounter is the length of the wire coming from the camera that connects to the detector. My Uniden R3’s connection port is on the opposte end of where the camera faces when on the mount. So it is a bit of a stretch connecting the 2. The wite connection is stretched to max so hopefully it lasts. Im sure I can find a small extension but thatbis the issue that I have found with connecting it to the Uniden R3. Good vamera overall

I’m giving it only 4 stars because the app lacks so many features. It’s a pain to get the videos out thru the app. Then you need 2 apps to run your radar and camera, I called Escort and the answer to this problem is we know and are working on it but no time frame is given. There are better and easier cameras with app out there, the M2 needs a lot of work.

Super clear pictures. Cons are you can only look at your gallery when the cam is on and connected to Blutooth. Hopefully if I do need the footage I can get access quickly without it being overwritten

Well, I wanted to like this dash cam and had high hopes it would be a good product, but unfortunately while it does record decent quality video, it doesn't record continually and misses most of the things I'd actually want it to get, like idiot drivers. I've tried any number of fixes to get it to work, from resetting it, to deleting it from the app, to multiple new and old cards. Had enough with it not working up to snuff and am returning it. Also annoying, the app leaves much to be desired. It's ridiculously slow to connect and view recorded videos on the camera with.

Connection not what i look forward to and it should be one app not another thing to download
