Escort name is synonymous with quality and performance. This detector helps cement that reputation. Easy to use for beginners, advanced enough for experienced users. The included "sticky" mount works great. I did add a direct wire for power, but, otherwise, am using it exactly as it came. Not sure if I will subscribe to crowd sourced features when my trial period runs out, as I live in a relatively rural state, and doubt I'll get much benefit from that portion of the detector.

I had a Valentine 1 for years and it was awesome. It eventually became useless as ever car out there with radar cruise control set it off. This new one was bought for a 3000 mile trip and it kept me from getting any tickets. I have some complaints... it did seem to false alert a lot... it would say there was a bogey in front and then at the side, then in back - and nothing was there ... not even other cars or structures (middle of nowhere). The setup is not easy and we NEVER got it to pair with my phone as it should... that was frustrating - apparently you need a cable to hook it up to a computer - wish I did before I left. I wish I saved some money and bought another Valentine 1

So far it has worked great! They have a get a ticket they will pay first one guarantee. It's a little expensive but it will pay for itself over a little time.

I would recommend this radar detector. It picks up radar from long distances, connects to your blue tooth through the app, and has amazing customiziable features.

I love my new toy. It is customizable so you don't have to listen to a many false alarms. The Red light camera function is a cool addition.

Not the range that I thought it would have and several false K bands - but overall this unit does a decent job.

After purchasing I used it on a three hour trip and it only went off when there was a radar being used. I would have rated it excellent but the size of the unit could have been smaller.
