It will not reconnect unless the phone is unpaired and then paired again each time you want to use it. The application will not work in the background on a Android platform. This means don't expect the battery in your phone to last long with the backlight on constantly. If I use the app I turn the backlight down.

It state red light camera when I’m on the freeway. Picks up the signal of the posted speed limit camera. The detector would go off and then go in to a low ring so your not sure if you are really being picked up by radar

We have not had any tickets since purchasing mine 5 years ago (older model) and his (360 model) 2 years ago. I guess that it is worth the costs if you are saving ticket, court, and possibly out of State fines and fees. Not to talk about auto insurance increase costs too.

The directional arrows are the biggest plus and the speed limit on the display is handy as well. My only complaint is the display is hard to read with sunglasses.

Posted .This is a radar and laser detector. It detects police radar and laser. Police are not always transmitting radar and laser and they can use other methods to determine your speed such as pacing behind you and timing.
