Took several attempts over 5 hours of trying to get the wifi to connect andremainconnected. Finally got it to connect and stay connected long enough to download the new firmware update. The app never would connect until the next day now it seems to connect everytime. The ramp up is immediate, as soon as it detected an police radar it was full signal and alarm. The deputy was a mike away, it does not start out low then ramp up as you get closer, stronger signal. It misses some police radar also, it is quiet as the false alerts are filtered out almost completely. If escort could fix the reaction time, the ramp up issue and missing some police radar it would be an awesome detector. It also takes way to long to alert to signals, sometimes a 10 second delay, the uniden r8 alerts in .30 to .67 seconds. I will be returning the escort max 360c mkii to get the uniden r8.

Horrible product. I received a ticket while it was on and when the company said they do reimbursement if you have it on and if you get the ticket. It's all fake.

Honestly very disappointed just purchased it January 27 and 36 days of having it won’t work very disappointed how it brands new and Best Buy won’t do anything very upset

Everything was fine last month when I purchased it but now it disconnects itself from the app and doesn’t show the speed limit only the limit I’m driving and I’ve tried forgetting the device and adding it back but it still doesn’t work and I still have two more months to pay it, waste of money!

Have owned several Escort units. This one lasted me exactly 1 year and 3 days from the date of purchase, and of course, there’s a 1 year warranty. Screen started to darken to the point of barely being legible, and by the end of the day, it doesn’t power on. Tried cord from another escort unit, doesn’t power on. Tried cord from this unit on the other one and that one powers right up.

Purchased hoping this would be better than the some competitor products. Was wrong very quickly. Pros: heavy duty travel case build quality Cons: Customer support was very long wait K band alerts are delayed 10-15 seconds to help with poor k band filtering app is awful horrible connectivity range is not what they claim compared to past products VERY outdated power solutions my newer 2022 model vehicle is not fitted with a cigarette outlet ( its 2022 use USB C) Returned item and stuck with my current Radar Detector

Bought it before a 600 mile rd trip and returned it when I got home. Way too many BSM false alarms and what I estimate as 3-5 SECOND K-Band delays. I suspect those delays are caused by Escort's attempts to minimize the BSM falsies...but obviously they need more time to work out the technology. I got pulled over going 79 in a 70, which is slow for me. Do NOT waste your money or time with this product!

This is my 3rd purchase! I put this on the Protection Warranty and have had to return 3 times on my 4th and cord does not work :( every time I have to add the $99 protection and so add this up! Could have bought the new each time.

Do not buy if your plug is far the cord is so short on this thing it was not able to be used in my tesla model S, model X and cybertruck!! Was able to use it in my original 2012 Tesla roadster though but that is a show car and is only drive maybe 20 miles a month.

There is a promise to cover cost of tickets. However, that’s only if you buy directly from manufacturer. The BB employee apparently wasn’t aware when I inquired.

Used Valentine V1 for the longest time but decided to give this one a try. Bad idea, it doesn’t pickup as good as the V1 unless its the X band…. App to Radar connection is not stable.. DO NOT BUY

I had to return it because it didn’t work. Two weeks and a 900 mile trip and it never went off

Bought the radar detector then set up install for my Mercedes . I could speak to anyone at the Grapevine Best Buy and on line people said the installer wil. Have the install kit… so did several on line operators in Best Buy’s customer service. Let me add my wife picked up the unit and asked if we needed the install kit and was told directly the installer had it. Today the installer called confirming appointments and said do you have the install kit? I said I was told you did and his response was no I don’t. So maybe I’ll get the e kit in time or have to cancel and reschedule the installation. Best Buy you’ve failed on on line customer service plus there was no means to directly contact the grapevine store until my wife dropped by to pickup the radar detector. Even customer service said yes the installer had the necessary install equipment. False. I’m very displeased with BB customer service on all fronts adding your automated response unit useless confirmation of installation kit on site or needed to be ordered.

I do appreciate that this detector is quieter than I have seen other detectors regarding falses with alarm doors and car blind spot monitors, but it is slow at identifying police radar. The WIFI will not stay connected. The range of detection is not good. Much better choices available at a better price. I would recommend you do your research first, see reviews from vortex and look at testing that has been done on the performance of this MKII. I do not recommend this RD.

Constantly gives false alarms from behind, drove 50 miles the other day it was constantly telling me there is a police officer behind me. There was no one behind me. Worst radar detector I've ever purchased. Stay away from this junk, they force you or suggest that you signed up for a plan then you have to call them to deny the plan and sit on hold for 30 minutes. Worst radar detector I've ever purchased!⁴
