Purchased this after being pleased with the 9500xi. Disappointed! Picks up speed traps and light cameras just fine via gps. Has almost no range while I waa pulling up next to a state trooper. Horrible horrible range.

Waiting for a cable so i can up grade the software. Range impressive but to many false alerts needs upgrades that is why i am waiting on cable

The Radar Detector itself works great and has good range, will detect officers before seeing them (as long as it's not Laser). It does store the false alarms, which helps avoid false alarms. My biggest issue was the suction Mount. If you remove it everyday, it will break on you. I will be returning this unit for the 2nd time due to the mount breaking.. while the Detector works fine.

The max 2 is a very good radar detector. Very good on ka band and very very good on k band. The GPS remembers repeated false alerts and ignores them which is nice.

This thing is amazing. It picks up signals well before you even see what's sitting there. The range from the back almost feels as good as the detection up front.

The beeping is a little loud but love the product.

This radar detector is not good for higher end vehicles. Way too much interference with the computer system. My Infiniti QX56 kept setting it off. I probably didn't give it a long enough testing period considering it drove me crazy within the first 5 minutes of being plugged in. Lots of false alarms. If it's true what they say then it needs time to learn those & will then stop going off...so to be fair I didn't give it more than 10min & unplugged it. It may be great if you don't have a vehicle that interferes & if you run it for weeks to give it a chance to learn false alarms.

i found this product to be useful, as advertised, and easy to set up and easy to use.

This is by far, the BEST Radar Detector I have ever had! Most recently the window clap broke, so we'll need to buy another. But overall it's a great detector!

The radar detector that I received was a gift from my wife. There is another model you offer that I like better however this one meets most of my needs.

Love the reliability of not displaying false alarms and with using the Live app make long distance travling great. This is my 3rd Max2.

I just got back from a trip to Florida and the radar detector picked up all the cops on the road and there were many.

This product is what I really need . I am on the road a lot and this product has prevented me from having tickets.

Works really great. Did have some issues with the smart phone app (iPhone) concerning registration. Has been sporadically working.

My Passport Max2 does everything the description said it would do. Love the built in Bluetooth!!

I was hoping for a bit more out of a once $600 unit. Hard to setup via the unit and to push from the app. The live app needs to be worked to fix the auto reconnect (lack of). The live uses phone data to work so keep that in mind. Like the color options and the meter options. We will repost in a few more months and see how we feel..

This radar has many features that really come in handy the 360 radar and the 2.5 mile ranges works perfectly

So far very pleased with location warnings. Good lead time. Especially appreciate the "Red Light Camera" alerts. Would like a bracket designed to mount the device on the dash console rather than the suction cup on the windshield.

the price is wonderful I got it on Best Buy deal of the day and it has saved me many times so far
