Cheap design and low quality material and easy to break. Weak GPS signal, it often takes longer time for GPS to acquire the signal comparing to my escort 9000ix. This Escort Max II detects Ka band about 10 to 30 seconds earlier than my Escort 9000ix.

I like the device. Works well, picks up signals early.

With the exception of the Valentine 1, have owned all other brands. Escort live and the expert display on this is awesome. I have been saved countless times with this detector. Well with the purchase...I got 2!

i am still not using all the bells and whistles that come withthis detector;it will take awhile;the only issue i have is the suction cup;it will not keep the detector on the windshield

This is a really good detector. Learns the places that are false and stores it so it don't go off again.

Have used Escort products for the last 10 years. Have more than pay for themselves in tickets avoided. Only gripe I have is you have to have a computer update the dectors database.

Excellent radar detection. Detects even beyond our line-of-sight. But really bulky and am afraid it will invite unwanted attention.

The detector was a lot of bang for the buck when I bought it. It is way to heavy and has a tendency to bounce and back off the mount a bit. Returned it.

Had this before and then got stuck with a competitive brand. Definitely won't be going back to the competitive brand. This one is quiet and efficient.

We have an Escort Radar in everyone of our vehicles so when I read about this one I immediately purchased it for my husband. We used it for about a week but the alarm would randomly go off and would not stop. We finally figured it out, our smart phones were setting it off anytime we placed them within a couple of feet from the radar. Well, I wasn't going to get rid of my phones so I returned the radar and purchased the RedLine. We love the Redline but not this one.

I purchased this detector for my car and have a older model in my truck. Escort Passport is the best brand ever...

Very clear screen. Voice is soft spoken, clear and understandable. I love the red light camera notification. You get plenty of warning.

This radar works great and gives you a warning miles Before you see the officer radaring.

Good machine for audio alerts but difficult to see blue print in daylight. Also microwave feeture does not work on popcorn. Otherwise veri good.

This was gift for my husband. He likes this radar a lot better then the cobra he had which wore out in 3 years.
