Just received these, so far...so good. No problems or anticipated .Bought these for my outside Christmas decor

Work great if you need for outside power. Like the ability to turn through phone

App is very easy to use, these work well, they do lose connectivity occasionally

very unique and diverse product. the uses are pretty much limitless with these plugs.

They work well, a bit picky on joining your wireless network but not too hard.

I have not used this yet but seems to be very helpful with remote options.

Works great outside I use it to turn my bushes lights in the summer.

I've had these for two years and I only use them occasionally. I'm finally so fed up with the lack of support, the unintuitive app, and the fact that they just don't work. I've spent the better part of the last two days trying to add these back since the app apparently likes to forget the devices. I was able to get one to connect briefly but it said it needed a firmware update. When updating the firmware, it failed. On IOS it only gives you the chance to connect manually at random intervals but it still doesn't connect. On Android, it connects to the router but when it tries to reach the VeSync cloud, it fails. My guess is that they put a time bomb in the device to cause it to fail after a certain amount of time (aka change the way the system works such that a 2 year old device won't work anymore). The IOS app is horrible and there's only one way to connect and that doesn't work. There is NO support. It's been 48 hours and still no contact from the company even though they promise 24 hour turnaround time. I just ended up buying a different brand of outdoor outlets because these look like they just aren't going to work. Just because these are designed to fail, it doesn't mean customers are going to come back. I will never buy an Etekcity product again.

I bought these for my Christmas lights. I like that it works with the Google Assistant and has multiple schedule setting. If you add your electricity rates to the app it will not only tell you how much energy you are using but how much it cost.

Getting this product to connect to the wifi was a nightmare, I never got it to work. Had to return as it was a disappointment.

My husband doesn't like the idea of adding another app to his phone to use these, so we are returning them, unused. So, can't give an adequate review.

Hard to connect to wifi. Directions say easy install, but I'm still having issues and I'm about give up.

Works great. App is really easy to use. Picks up WiFi a pretty good distance from router.

Works well but wish the app had more functionality or control in terms of looking back at previous usage and stats.

Worked GREAT - but only for about 6 weeks! ZERO Tech Support. Sorry - I don't keep things when the Manufacturer uses COVID as an excuse not to provide Tech Support. There are SO MANY OTHER GREAT CHOICES at Best Buy that stand by to help you with your product, so as not to tolerate that. Also, Best Buy had the "Extended Returns" for the holidays! Thanks so much for that.

Got these for my mom. We went through a test phase using the outlets inside. That didn’t go very well. It blew half of the Christmas lights and she was really bummed. Returned with no problem though. Cool idea and could have just been temperamental light strand, but they blew when using the switch and half the lights were black by the lights elements.

Not happy with I might return it . Not a good compatibility with Alexa.
