Not too expensive and no "subscription" service to drain your wallet dry.

Total waste of money

The base is connected via cable to my router. The router is netgear R8000P that is connected to a fiber modem with 1gig up and down. Should be plenty for streaming and it is for every other streaming thing I do. I have been a software engineer for the last 17 years. I know everything is fine. It is PAINFUL to wait for this base to give me the live feed upon a notification. Oh someone is at your door Ok let me see Decrypting ... decrypting... decrypting AAAANNNNNDDD they are gone What is the point of the security system if the very thing it is supposed to secure is being left behind. SHOW ME WHAT IS GOING ON ALREADY!!! I know what is going on. As it is recording the person in front of my front door, it is unable to stream it to me at the same time. so I can only see the event AFTER THE FACT! WHAT??? Total waste of money

If you get this though, I would recommend ordering a SSD along with it as it doesn’t have a big internal storage, but can be equipped with a SSD to hold your recordings.

There's no monthly or annual fees for storage unless you chose to.. I just purchase 1TB SSD drive and inserted in unit,, plenty of storage for my videos or st least till I get around to reviewing videos and deleting some...

Randomly, a camera will just stop transmitting and drain battery for -30% in a matter of hours... then suddenly the camera works again. This requires taking the cameras down and charging often.

I have not one bad thing to say. Connecting wverything ti my phone was a breeze. They record every motion to the app. I get notifications and the camera quality is subpure.
