My only gripe is the activity zone, the camera doesnt seem to pick up activity from great lengths even though its part of the activity zone that is set up.

I upgraded from the eufyCam 2 Pro to the eufyCam 3. The video recording, A.I. person detection, connection, and new homebase are great, but the cameras are not durable. I had to go through the warranty process for one camera because it wouldn’t turn on, and customer support was excellent. However, the replaced camera also stopped working within a year, and I can’t reset or fix it. Another camera was not functioning correctly, but Eufy customer support asked for a lot of detail and camera logs before the warranty expired. My 3 existing eufyCam 2 Pro cameras are going on 4 years and still work perfectly fine. They may not have the same 4K quality, but they haven’t given me any issues like these eufyCam 3. The solar power system is not reliable. I have had to manually charge them many times throughout the year. I was hoping for a more automatic system, but this was not the solution, even though I live in a sunny place like Arizona. If I were to purchase these again, I would add some protection plan or extended warranty upfront.

Great quality but lacking comparability.

I am disappointed that this company has not integrated software compatible with HomeKit. The previous homebase has HomeKit compatibility, but this one does not. The 4K quality of this is fantastic. It’s only because of the software integration that I have it 3 stars.

Having a dock to store records has helped us feel more comfortable than using a cloud system and the video quality is excellent
