These cameras are promising but don’t last as long as the eufyCam 2 Pro.
I upgraded from the eufyCam 2 Pro to the eufyCam 3. The video recording, A.I. person detection, connection, and new homebase are great, but the cameras are not durable. I had to go through the warranty process for one camera because it wouldn’t turn on, and customer support was excellent. However, the replaced camera also stopped working within a year, and I can’t reset or fix it. Another camera was not functioning correctly, but Eufy customer support asked for a lot of detail and camera logs before the warranty expired.
My 3 existing eufyCam 2 Pro cameras are going on 4 years and still work perfectly fine. They may not have the same 4K quality, but they haven’t given me any issues like these eufyCam 3.
The solar power system is not reliable. I have had to manually charge them many times throughout the year. I was hoping for a more automatic system, but this was not the solution, even though I live in a sunny place like Arizona.
If I were to purchase these again, I would add some protection plan or extended warranty upfront.

Huge upgrade from our Ring cameras. Very clear video even at night. It’s great not to have to pay for a subscription. I will definitely be adding more

These cameras were easy to set up and install. There is no subscription to pay for which is great! It is easy to download and save any videos you need.

3 months in and I'm already dealing with failing cameras. I switched to Eufy to get away from the subscription model of other cameras. I already had a eufyvac that I liked and thought I would try their cameras too. I've been happy with the app and with the video quality as well. However, events do not record unless something moves close in front of the camera. We're talking 16 feet or so. On top of that, now one camera will not connect to the app anymore. It is fully charged and when mounted, the light just comes on and off until the battery drains all over again. Disappointed to say the least

Have 4 cameras. Can hook up to wifi and view from cell phone our home, dogs and yard while gone. Love the alarm option for when someone is detected at night. With no monthly bills. Have had to recharge one camera that has solar panel.so we moved it to a different spot
