Excellent product and experience. From ease of purchase with knowledgeable staff at the store level to an experienced and knowledgeable installer. We couldn't have asked for a better experience with Best Buy and their staff.

These cameras are just what I needed for my security needs.
The chat is available for help, the phone service is great, but
takes some patience on your part to be connected.

Good system. The overall video quality needs a bit of improvement for the most distant objects. I love the local record function. No nickle-and-dime subscription required (too many of those on the market). Would buy this system again.

Returned item to store, Im sure it may work good in some applications, but I wanted a system with longer range motion detection, also these cameras motion detection does not work through windows which I did not know,

So far we like the Eufy camera system. We have 3 solar cameras and plan to add 2 more. There’s is a short delay in the sound but hasn’t been a problem.

Unfortunately in this world of thiefs, idiot HOA members that lie to get fines or the least dangerous coyotes that roam the neighborhood you have to have cameras to be safe and prove you’re in HOA compliance cameras are a must… oh how this world has changed.

The camera's are 4k and solar powered which is nice. But no manual for setup or changing settings with the merchandise or online makes for not so good experience. Doubt i will recommend this to anyone.

Iffy on the facial recognition. I was stuck between this and the ore compact and less expensive 3c. I wanted the solar built in. Wow these are huge every guest comments, and in your face. I wish I had gone with the more compact version.

This free service protects 2 houses 1 is a thousand miles away. I can check as many times as I want, was easy to install, a lot cheaper than paid services, can work on solar, etc. does everything you want for cheaper than other systems although the siren is not very strong.

PROS
+ 4K picture is very good, with plenty of detail even when zoomed
+ Night Vision works great
+ Set-up and install is extremely easy
+ App is intuitive and easy to use
+ Solar power helps keeps the cameras charged, assuming they get enough light
+ Home base allows for additional expandable storage
+ AI BionicMind feature works well for detecting objects and recognizing faces
+ NO ADDITIONAL SUBSCRIPTION/FEES
CONS
- Color night vision is pretty good, but detail and image consistency is better in regular night vision
- Placement does require some planning to ensure the cameras can get enough direct sunlight to stay charged
- Plastic frame means you need to be careful tightening the cameras’ hinge so they don’t sag
THE LONG AND SHORT OF IT
It is not often I am genuinely surprised by how much I end up liking a product from my prior expectations, but this is one of those times. One of the biggest reasons for this, and one of the reasons these cameras impress me so much, is their quality without the need for additional cloud storage or fee for features. You don’t need to pay a monthly security fee, or storage fee, or anything other than the upfront cost of the cameras and the home base to go with them. Once you have all of the components, they work together completely on their own. However, this doesn’t mean they are lacking in software support or quality, as the picture quality is the best I have seen from a wireless camera system, and the software experience has been great!
Starting with the set-up, getting the home base installed is super easy, with just a power cord and ethernet to the router all that is needed. From there you download the Eufy app and it walks you through the set-up process, which takes a few minutes at most after you set-up your account. You get 15.6GB of storage out of the box, with the ability to add a hard drive to the home base for up to an additional 16TB of storage. The cameras themselves are relatively compact, and have long solar panels on the top for charging. They connect to frames which you can mount almost anywhere, given they are wireless, and have a simple ball joint mechanism for rotation and tilting which makes them very flexible with positioning. The only thing you will need to watch out for is ensuring the cameras can have plenty of direct sunlight, so they can stay charged without needing to be taken down and charged manually (which you can do if you’d like/need to). This does require some pre-planning to ensure the cameras are placed where you’d like, but also not under an overhang or roof where they will be shaded.
From a picture quality standpoint, they look great. I can get a live view from the cameras anytime from the app, and I can easily zoom-in and adjust as necessary for getting additional detail. The field of view is nice and wide, so one camera can give you plenty of great coverage, and the night vision looks great, with nearly as much detail as daylight. The cameras also have a light which can pickup color in low light conditions at night, although this was turned off by default and probably for good reason, as while you do get good night color, I found the detail to be worst than the regular night vision, with a bit more ghosting and image break-up on moving objects. Personally, I would leave the regular night vision on and leave it at that.
I haven’t owned the cameras long enough yet to test their full battery life, but given where I have placed mine, I haven’t seen the battery drop below 100% yet after a few weeks of ownership. I don’t know how they will hold-up from a battery life standpoint in winter, but so far the solar charging has been working great, and if I do need to take them down to charge them, it is a very easy disassembly process. They can also be charged manually from USB-C at the home base, which is also a nice touch. Additionally, the cameras also feature two-way audio, so you can both get audio from them, as well as speak through them for communicating with people if you would like.
From a software standpoint, the experience has also been great. The Eufy app is easy to use, and I have had zero issues with connectivity or dropouts yet. Additionally, the BionicMind can detect animals, people, and vehicles, and will automatically start recording the events when it sees them. It can also pick out familiar faces, which you can also add manually, so that if it sees you, your family, or other frequent visitors, it won’t alert you and record the event immediately. If you have other Eufy home security products, you can also easily set modes or automations to tie into your schedule, which integrates great with smart home systems. Really, all-in-all the software experience has been great so far, with zero usability or quality complaints from me.
As I started in this review, what really impresses me most is that all of this great quality comes with no additional fees. In an age where more “smart” products are being sold with near mandatory subscription fees, without which the features of your product are severely hindered, it is refreshing to get a “smart” product which just works out of the box, has great quality, and doesn’t try to upsell you. Yes, you can get more involved with Eufy’s other security offerings if you’d like, but if you just want security cameras like these, that offer all of the features you would need, with super easy set-up, then you don’t need to pay more for storage or expanded features. You have the options, and that is what is great as a consumer. All-in-all, I highly recommend these cameras if they are in your budget and you want some of the best wireless cameras money can buy, without the additional hassle.

Better than the 2k camera but still could have petter image clarity. It would be nice to have the zoom available to stored videos not only on the live video. The solar is a nice option to keep the batt topped off on a hard to access camera location.
