got the homebase with 3 cameras loved the easy setup ,the chime notifications the 4k picture , but none of the cameras were picking up more than 5 feet away when it says 20/25 feet which i needed it to do but did not for $500 it should live up to that expectation so i returned these cameras also do mot record 24/7 only record movements

So much better than Arlo would highly recommend them

The system was easy to set up and operate! Works seamlessly with a Starlink system for remote locations as well. The quality is very clear and we have had no issue with the solar charging.

System is worth getting. Very customizable. Love the homebase where all data is stored and is expandable. No monthly fees, no worries of videos ending on the internet somewhere.

Nice resolution, sensor work from far away and tells you who or what is close by, (just dont have a flag moving in front f the cameras). sound catch everything you may not want to hear, lol. But somethimes the alerts are a bit late (seconds usually).

Have very mixed feelings about this camera system. The cameras were packaged very nicely and the setup was very easy, but the overall functionability of the camera system was poor, there is no live 24-Hour recording, The cameras pick up motion and the AI work s some of the time, The record time is very short sometimes missing what was truly important. I would not recommend this system to anybody looking to protect your property.

With this product I was able to secure my home even more. This product would be a great way to enhance your security if you haven't already.

I used to use the ring cameras, this is such a huge upgrade! If you are debating on moving to Eufy from Ring, DO IT! it's worth every penny!

When it comes to security cameras there are so many options and all of them have different advantages and disadvantages. One nice thing about wires NVR systems is that you do not have to worry about charging the cameras or paying for a subscription. However, wireless cameras are typically easier to set up and can be placed just about anywhere, but many of them require a subscription for online storage and have to be charged. I believe these Eufy cameras were made to reduce some of those concerns and bridge the gap between the two. Setting up these cameras is a fairly simple process. The base station comes with 16GBs of storage which is enough for multiple days’ worth of storage based on settings and activity. However, you can drop in a 2in hard drive and easily expand this storage. I personally put a 2TB hard drive and this allows me to have months’ worth of video coverage stored without having to overwrite that. Eufy also gives you the option to pay for cloud-based storage which also includes other benefits such as 24/7 advanced monitoring. The cameras come with all the hardware needed for mounding and can easily be screwed into your house within minutes. I have my base station on one side of my house and a camera on the complete other side outdoors and there are no connection issues at all. The range is superior. Since this is a wireless system, they cameras are battery powered. One of my favorite features is that they have mini solar panels on the top of each camera to help them charge up a few percent per day. Eufy claims they will last 365 days. Although I have only been testing them for about a week, I am down to 93% battery. The way my house sits they are not able to get the most sunlight. However, I still think even if they can last 3-6 months that is a decent length of time. If you live somewhere that gets a lot of sunlight or are able to put it in a better spot more directly in the sunlight then I have no doubt you would never need to charge these cameras. These cameras have 4K video quality capability and many smart features. One of my favorite features is that you are able to add a picture of someone and then it will detect when it sees that person. I have added myself and other members of my family and overall, it is good at recognizing when it sees that person. It also does a great at recognizing vehicles, animals, and humans and you are able to filter out notifications from each category if you would like. I only found two downsides to these cameras and it could be user error but no matter what I tried I was not able to fix the issue. The first is that when it is dark out, the cameras have a harder time picking up motion. During the day I did not have any issues but if I walked in front of the cameras during the night it was hit or miss on whether or not it picked me up even when I turned the motion detection to max sensitivity. The other issue is that I was hoping to utilize the spotlight feature but the only setting I was able to find had it flashing when it detected motion. I was looking for it to have a solid spotlight when it detected motion during the night. Again, it could be user error and I am continuing to try and play with the settings. If you are in the market for cameras and are looking for a highly capable system then I would definitely take a look at the Eufy Cam. These cameras are easy to set up, easy to use and are versatile and can be used without limitations. One of my favorite features is that if you do not want to pay for a monthly service, then you can still monitor them through the app and all of the footage is stored on the home base.

One of the cameras is now dead, just 2.5 months out of warranty. Before that, I couldn't say that the detection was great at night. My neighbor's car was vandalized and I had nothing to share with the police. The Homebase is sluggish and needs frequent reboots. I finally just hooked it up to a smart switch so that I don't have to keep running to the unit to reset.

Bought two of these systems. Mounted one camera tied to one homebase and another camera tied to second homebase both on the same pole to the same street. They worked well for a period of time like fifteen minutes. Then they both stop working and do not record a video. They just stop working periodically. Then they start working well again. The support person told me to take the cameras down and reset them by setting them next to the homebase. If the cameras seven to ten feet off the ground need this kind of attention after a day? Not a security camera. Another huge problem is that they require an internet connection at all times to work. The cameras stop recording to the homebase if the internet is lost. So you can not battery back up the homebase for a secure security system. Bear in mind that the cameras send the video to the homebase hard drive over their own communication channel. Why does it need internet to safely store the video in the homebase for retrieval over the internet when you want it?
