Took a few days to get this installed. I want to make sure and get it done right. So I did the beginning and got a professional finish the rest, just never been my thing. Once I got the system up and running it's fantastic. It's simple, shoots great video and the AI has great sensor motion pickup, that's the best way I can think to describe it. Noticeable size or distinction. The camera doesn't really bother otherwise. The video is amazingly clear when I play it back on my phone, not to mention my lady has an iPhone and it shows up even better on her phone and I'm not an iPhone person. I can admit the video looks amazing. Outside of setup, I found the system to be easy to navigate the account easy to set up, amazing security system for something quick, fast, easy and very effective. The coolest thing is the rechargeable with the solar panels on top. That can be a little tricky. Have to make sure and put the camera somewhere where you can get some exposure and some sunlight. So a high altitude angle makes sense and and make sure that the camera gets all of the solar energy and not glare in your shot. Highly recommend system.

I run a number of eufy home devices and the eufyCam 3s integrate with them seamlessly through the app. I started off with the doorbell and then quickly added the lock, indoor pan and tilt camera, and now these two cameras to the collection. The video from the other devices is very good but these 4K cameras are definitely a step up. You can zoom into the scene much more effectively and see details further away. Setup was done super easily by just following the prompts in the app. Plug in the base station and pair the cameras one at a time and you're ready to go! The included base station is great for really expanding your storage especially since these cameras are more likely to catch something of interest being mounted outside. Speaking of mounting, that's another great feature of this setup. Since they have solar panels built in just find a stable place within range of your Wi-Fi and a bit of exposure and screw em in! So very simple, no wires to run or batteries to worry about. I will likely be purchasing more cameras from eufy in the future to expand my system as needed.

they are a bunch of junk can't wait to get them down will not buy anything Eufy again. They do not work they will not pick up activity.
Thank you for sharing your experience for eufyCam 3 that the camera doesn't pick up activity as expected.
I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. May I ask for a chance to explain? Motion detection will be greatly affected by the motion area & sensitivity you set for the camera. It will also be affected by the environment you installed for this camera, the size of the moving object, the frequency of movement, and the length of the distance, etc
Would you please try the following steps to see if it helps? -Please turn up the Detection sensitivity in: Camera Settings>Motion detection -Please change the camera working mode as a customized recording with 5s retriggering intervals and a 120s clip length: Camera Settings>Power Manager >Cutomized Recording. -Please check the installation location, the optimal installation height is 2-2.5m(7-8ft) off the ground. If it is too high or too low the detection distance will be reduced. It is not recommended to install your camera with a downtilt angle exceeding 25°. A large downtilt angle will also reduce the detection distance.
If the issue still perisists, please contact us via [email protected] and provide the following information for further assistance: -The serial number of the camera. You may check it on the camera or the app(Camera Settings>General>About device>Serial number). -A picture to show the camera view so that we can better know the installation height and installation angle. Live feed>save to phone album by clicking the scissors icon.
We sincerely apologize for all the inconvenience caused. We do attach great importance to your case and hope to make this right for you as soon as possible.
Thank you so much for your patience and have a nice day!

I've been a big fan of Eufy products for many years now and this offering continues the trend of "it just works". Now, I already had the Eufy android app installed, which is basically installing the app and creating an account, but that's most of the work required to setup this package. I took the base station and plugged it into my network with the supplied Ethernet cable and clicked the add device button while on WiFi. It found the base station, allowed me to name it, and added it to my account. Be aware that if you share access to your cameras, you will need to share access to the base station with others after you add it.
Syncing up the cameras was just as easy. They connect to the base station, but you add them through the app. You just need to be close enough for the base station to see the short range signal requesting to pair from the camera and then you can move your camera into position. Mounting the cameras was easy as the included screws easily bit into the wood I was using. They also include those plastic hole inserts, but I feel those are more needed if you plan on drilling into masonry. Now, part of me wishes the cameras used my WiFi like my floodlight does, but being as the setup was 100 times easier with the base station, I can overlook it.
Speaking of, the base station supports many other Eufy products to add AI intelligence to them and is actively working to add move of the product line. It also will allow them to use the storage built into the base station which I found surprisingly easy to upgrade. I had a spare SSD lying around, so I opened the top with the single screw, pulled out the tray, installed and secured the SSD to the tray with the included screws, and installed it back into the base station. On the app, it showed the drive and asked if I wished to format it. I did and now I have more space. The device also supports archiving video to a USB device, so if you have a large external drive, you can hook it up to this for even more space. I hope at some point they add the ability to archive to a NAS, but again, I'll take the current solution as being very usable.
It's been a few days now and I'm pleasantly surprised that the battery life on the camera has not gone down. I installed it under a gutter for some protection against the snow, with the solar panel pointed to where the sun comes up. It's not getting a ton of light, but it's definitely enough to keep the battery topped off and I doubt I'll have to go up there to adjust it again. That is good because I turned on theft protection. With theft protection turned on, the device and base station will sound an alarm if the camera is moved. This will alert you if someone tries to move the camera so they can sneak around it or if someone is straight up trying to steal it. I don't know why they would want to though as the camera does not appear to work without the base station.
All in all, I love having complete control over my video while still being able to easily access my cameras remotely. I hope Eufy keeps adding to their ecosystem and I really hope they add door and window sensors in the future. It would be nice to go all in with one alarm system that I already enjoy using.
So glad you love the product! Thank you for your support. We are super excited to provide something that betters your life. We promise to continue striving to exceed your expectations!

Nicely packaged and easy to unpackage.
I have 2 of the Anker eufyCam 2C Pro cameras set up with the Anker eufy HomeBase 2 and they worked great, so I was looking forward to setting up the S330 eufyCam 3 system.
I disconnected my HomeBase 2 and set up the HomeBase 3, set up was quick and easy. Setting up the S380 HomeBase and connecting the S330 cameras was quick and easy and the S380 HomeBase picked up my eufy Wi-Fi door lock and my eufy Wi-Fi bridge with door lock and doorbell automatically. It was just as easy to connect my eufyCam 2C cameras to the HomeBase 3 as it was to connect the S330 cameras. I now have features with my eufyCam 2C cameras that I did not have prior.
Installing the S330 cameras is quick and easy once you decide on what area you want them monitoring. Like all outdoor cameras, it takes a little trial and error to position your cameras to get the best video and solar power to the cameras. Took me approximately 1 hour to set the new system up however, I also moved two existing cameras during this time.
16GB EMMC storage is plenty for me, I am retired and generally home most days. SSD storage would be nice however much more expensive. I don’t hold videos any more than a day and if I choose to keep a video, I download it to my phone. If you choose to you can add a HDD/SSD storage expansion, up to 16TB.
The 4K video is exceptional, very sharp which allows for enlargement of the something specific you want a closer look at on a video. I have found a slight lag in notification with the eufy 3 system compared to the eufy 2 system.
The Smart AI Human recognition (Self learning algorithm), Vehicle detection, and Pet detection work flawlessly, so far. The recognition of persons, vehicles, and animals is amazing. Again, an advantage I received was the HomeBase 3 extending these types of features to my existing eufy 2C cameras. Some of the facial captures tend to be a little blurred as people are generally moving however, you can add pictures by taking a picture through the eufy app or download a picture from your photos file. Try to take your pictures from a slight side angle, I found this best.
The S330 solar powered cameras are battery-powered, continual video is not what they are designed for, they are designed to capture motion, take a short video of what activated the camera, and send you a notification. If you are looking for 24/7 monitoring, you will need to look at eufy alternatives.
Overall, the S330 eufyCam (eufyCam 3), 4K 2-cam with (S380 HomeBase / HomeBase 3) is a great upgrade and well worth the investment. You get a system that most of your current eufy equipment will sync with and upgrade your existing cameras features.

I've tried a numerous home security cameras. Most work okay but fall short in one way or another. This is my second eufy system and it works great, just like the first one. This is a truly all in one no subscription system. The base unit can accept a 2.5 inch hard drive (not included but they are cheap enough) for video storage. I had a 2TB drive not doing anything so I reformatted it and dropped it in. Works great. The base unit is small and sits right by my router. It is hard wired to the router, but it's all wi-fi from there on. The cameras themselves are well made. they are a little bigger than I expected but that's not an issue. I suspect the size & weight is due to the internal batteries. For me, there are two big selling points. First is the fact that the cameras can use solar power. No need to take them down to recharge them or run power out to them. Being that we are in cold Minnesota, time will tell how well the battery power holds up in the winter. But I have them placed where they will get plenty of sun light so we should be good. The second important feature is of course the 4K resolution. The video quality is outstanding compared to any security system I have ever used. Day or night, it is easy to see and clear. Seeing as a good signal is needed for a good 4K stream, I'm not so sure you would want to place the cameras too far away. But I think for most home uses placement shouldn't be an issue. Really can't say anything bad. This is a well made system that works great right out of the box and could not be easier to setup.

The Anker eufyCam 3, 4K 2-cam kit is a security system that I do not need to pay monthly fees for and that can provide me full 360 degrees of home security. First, I was instructed to install the eufy Security app from the Google Play store. After completing email registration, the eufy Security app took over all installation instruction. I was instructed to scan the QR code on the back of the eufy Anker eufyCam 3, 4K 2-cam kit S380 Home Base. Connecting the Anker eufyCam 3, 4K 2-cam kit to my router starts the pairing process. Everything works through the eufy Security app. The Camera gives sharp details of people and things. It has Artificial Intelligence that grows in Human recognition for awareness of the people and things that become common. The quality is crystal clear and I can even see color at night. Video in color gives exact clarity of colors and black and white video comes out similarly with the same clarity. I can watch live current video or view the recorded history on the hard drive. The Solar panel provides power forever with just two hours of sunlight a day. With the two-way audio, I can hold a conversation with anyone within viewing range. There is a manual alarm that runs for 30 seconds and it is very loud and screeching. Another security feature is the very bright spotlight to get of better view of what’s happening and shine it on an intruder. It is also weather proofed to avoid damage from the elements of nature. The Anker eufyCam 3, 4K 2-cam kit is full security and gives feelings of security to me.

If possible, please try the following steps to see if the issue persists: - Please make sure that your HomeBase 2 is connected to the Internet and the LED is blue. - Make sure the Homebase is not close to the wall/corner or ceiling. - Please check on the camera’s battery level. If it is too low, charge the battery. - Make sure there are no obstacles around Homebase and the distance between Homebase and the camera should be within 20-30ftm, and move the Homebase closer to the camera to see whether it helps. The menu to check Wi-Fi signal is ""Device--Setting--Wi-Fi Connection"", if it shows “Great”, the network should be smooth. - Please press the SYNC button on the back of the camera to see if it is back online. - Please save all important videos from eufy app, then remove the camera which is offline on the EufySecurity app and then re-add it. - Please try to change another network cable to connect a different port on your router

4k AND Solar? So Great!

Wow, I am so impressed with these cameras, I am planning on exclusively using these or similar cameras movie forward. Having access to solar power for cameras that are installed in remote areas is just amazing. I have several points of entry on to my land, and while a Wi-Fi signal reaches all of those areas, I have not run power everywhere. With these solar cameras, I am able to get coverage for 100% of the points of entry, without any extra expense.
Inconvenience of solar power, combined with the excellent price for these cameras make them a no-brainer. I am planning on selling my other outdoor security cameras and just purchasing one of these, as they are just so simple and easy to use, and I certainly like having all of my security on the same system.
Set up, installation, and everything else was quick and easy. The instructions really left no room for questions, and I think regardless of your technical experience level with products like these, you will have no problem with the installation and setup.
This is one of the few products I have obtained in the past decade or so that I have no thoughts for how it could be improved, simply because it is such an excellent and solid camera.

Eufy products are recommended by so many people that I had to give them a shot. The form factor of the 4k camera with the integrated solar panel is clean, functional, and surprisingly small. In addition, the Eufy Security app is extremely easy to use. I did not have any range/connectivity issues and installation was very fast. The longest part of the install was deciding on where I wanted to mount the two cameras. Notifications are fast and going straight to live view after receiving a notification has been faster than on my nest hello or the ring video doorbell pro 2. I installed my own hard drive in the homebase 3 and am able to record the 4k video clips locally. I didn’t know what to expect with regards to video quality, but seeing the quality of the recordings makes me rest assured that I would have good footage of anything happening around my home. I went into this thinking ring probably has better security cameras and notifications, but eufy definitely has them beat not only on the quality of the video, the rich notifications, and AI detection but also on the price. I can outfit my entire house with cameras and it won't cost me any more money just because I added a camera to my system.

I bought these for the fact that it was a localized storage and not cloud based which was great. The canera quality is good and the night vision was good. The worst thing was motion detection. The motion detection is absolutely useless. I went through every setting and read online how to maximize it but no resolve. The cameras are only detecting motion from about 5-8ft away, anything past it nothing. Will be taking them back cause i cant sit and watch my cameras 24/7. I have the cheap plug in ring camera in my window pointing at the same direction that the eufy camera was and the ring camera is picking up motion right when you enter my driveway the eufy cam picks em up when they are passing the camera. Returning them and finding something else

There are a number of products on the market for those looking for wireless, security cameras. It really does pay to do one’s homework since many of the other brands also charge you a decent amount for monthly cloud storage. Eufy is offering a great alternative to save the expense of monthly cloud storage and to have peace of mind knowing your video is stored locally on the Eufy homebase.
Setup of this two-camera system starts by accessing the Eufy Security app. We already had this on our mobile devices since we use the Eufy dual cam doorbell. We proceeded to add the Eufy 3 homebase and subsequently sync the cameras to that. The app runs one through the installation steps, including the signal level of your wi-fi as one tests out various camera placements. We completed setting up the cameras and mounted the brackets onto our wood fascia. Initially, we got great results and everything seemed to be working with good camera video and the app notifying us of events as needed. Later, we noticed that we were no longer getting notifications of video events and no recordings were showing up in the app. After two phone calls with Eufy support we were advised that we’d have to unscrew the camera from the mounts, reset them and start the installation process again. Yes, this was a hassle, but that does seem to have corrected the issue. It was a nice option that Eufy support has a call back feature so one doesn’t have to wait on hold for a support rep.
It is interesting that Eufy has designed these cameras with the solar panels built-in on top of the camera. The quality of the panels appears to be quite good so I hope they do a good job withstanding the elements during our hot Summers. The weight of the cameras are more than other styles that do not have built in solar charging, but the camera mounts do a good job of holding them in place. Aesthetically, I like the look of these better than cameras that offer a separate solar panel that must be mounted and wired to the camera. Eufy offers another version in this camera 3 series that is not powered by solar and would be a good option for shaded areas such as under patios or large trees.
Currently, we will also have to continue using the older homebase that came with our Eufy dual cam doorbell. Eufy support told me that the new Eufy homebase 3 won’t support this older model doorbell until approximately Spring of 2023. I do appreciate the fact that we can incorporate these prior generation models rather than having to upgrade something we already have.
I’d say that Eufy has some great product features in the Eufy 3 line with 4K video, facial recognition, local storage, an intuitive and easy to use app, and nice build quality. It will be such a bonus to not pay a monthly cloud storage fee and still receive great video quality with expandable, local storage options. If the EufyCam 3 does as well as our dual cam doorbell we should be very happy for some time.

One star off given because expensive and should have included a charger for each camera as well a stronger mounts. I used my own generic mounts that are of better quality and more able to support these heavy cameras.
I believe the cameras are hefty due to the built in solar charging capability. The charging so far seems to work once I fully charged up each camera off AC power, no need to charge via AC. The areas I placed them get on average on sunny days about 4 -8 hours easily of sunlight. Much less on cloudy or overcast days but so far no issue, sure winter months might be different.
I like the solar capability, think that is a nice game changer to have it built in. The cameras seem durable and as for the solar panels, time will tell. I can always buy some inexpensive solar chargers from Amazon and use them if the built in camera’s panels fail in the future.
The camera-wide angle, 4K resolution, night/day all I. Color are all top notch. The iOS app is fair to slightly above average to use. The connection is rock solid so far and I have very bad/weak router and only internet provider speed of 100…so I not understand others with wifi issues.
If you can Get this on sale for under $400, a steal. Come on no subscription and a good iOS app.
