Pros: Good optics and 2k resolution Decent IR night vision Bright spotlight (automatically activates on AI motion detection - e.g., person) Fairly reliable human detection (not flawless, but pretty good) On-device AI - fast and no need for subscription Sensitive mic Issues: Magnetic mount with cable retainer isn't the most secure (especially considering that there is no base or cloud, so storage is on-device!) Power cable is a hassle - especially since provided USB power adapter isn't outdoor rated! I ended up replacing my outdoor power outlet with one featuring built-in USB ports. Fortunately, these are now available with GFCI protection as well. But this added $40, plus the cost of a new outdoor cover, and installation effort. I also bought a grey flat power cable for cosmetics. Summary: Eufy is almost unique in offering no monthly fee cameras. That's the draw. But they offer only a few wired-power models - and weirdly, those they do are solo models with no homebase support. Homebase plus the option of permanent power would be an attractive combination, but this is the closest we get. Indoor cameras follow this pattern as well (and, oddly, the indoor wired cam C22 doesn't seem to be available at Best Buy). One last note: The Eufy app is decent but suffers from two MAJOR flaws: first, it is laden with offers, promotions and ads. They're all from Eufy for related products but this is still unwelcome. Second, and even worse, it is a battery pig, at least in some device/version combinations. Before I set Android to stifle it in the background, it regularly consumed 30% of my battery each day with minimal use. And that's on a Note9, which is a battery monster. Supposedly setting Android to put the app to sleep will delay notifications, but I haven't been able to test that yet. It has solved the power consumption problem.

It has very good image quality, it's easy to connect obviously it's cable, it's not battery, but it works very well.

Ive had this camera for about a year now. It has done a good job of alerting me of motion near my garage. The power cord is very long and allows you to place the camera anywhere in a room or outdoor where its convenient. You do have tp connect to wifi for you to get alerts on your phone but the good news is that you dont have to pay a monthly subscription for the service.

NO FALSE NOTIFICATIONS. NIGHT RECORDING IS VERY CLEAR WITH SPOT LIGHT. 24/7 RECORDING. EUFY CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS BEEN GREAT JUST ONE PHONE CALL AWAY.

I am a big fan of Eufy security cameras. I've gone through cameras from most other brands and have settled on Eufy as my preferred brand. I use this camera on my front patio. The picture is clear and connection is reliable. I have it set to 24/7 recording which is important to me. Every now and then it will identify a hanging pot swinging in the wind as a person, but that's only happened a few times. Highly recommended.

great camera! Easy to install and setup. quality is outstanding. settings are great. I would recommend getting a bigger card, but the 32GB card that comes with it is adequate.

Awesome camera. I had an early version arlo pro and when plugged in would record 24/7. This is every bit as good and half the other brands. You get event recordings that start before the trigger so you don't miss anything. The resolution and range is much better than the blink outdoor camera I had in same spot. App is easy to use and ability to set camera fence is nice. Highly recommend this. I'm a eufy fan.

Great little camera, crystal clear footage. Does get a lot of alerts so I just silenced the notifications. Catches every car and truck that enters our dead end street. No monthly fees which is a plus. Every other company wants you to use their subscription based cameras to get all the functions working. Not Eufy.

Camera was easy to install. i am using as a garage cam. The 20 foot usb cord made it easy to plug it into my overhead garage light.. Great pictures and aweome senstivity. He its records as soon as someone comes in range.

Easy to set up and use. I’ve owned the product about 2 years and the original SD card still works flawlessly. Occasionally updates will mess up reviewing footage or microphones but they are eventually fixed. It can be nuisance, but I tolerate it because of their no subscription fee model.
