The clarity save time looking to see what’s in view. I just hope that the battery life last longer. It could be the difference in signal strength, but I had to charge mine after only 4-5 months.

I have tried multiple versions of Arlo. Multiple versions of Ring cams, and Eufy has been by far the best overall experience. And the fact these work brilliantly with HomeKit Secure Video is what solidifies them as my #1 wireless security cam.

Setup was a breeze, however the included bracket to hang the camera is terrible and poorly designed, and the screw it comes with strips very easily so be prepared and take your time. Aside from installation issues camera works great, has tremendous battery life and fits into an existing Eufy security setup in seconds. I have the 1080P version of this camera and I really don't notice a big difference in visual quality.

They offer a “security” system with no fees because all of your important videos are saved locally on their Homebase 2. Sounds great...BUT the problem is that ANYONE can hit the reset button on the camera for 10 seconds and you lose ALL your footage on the homebase!! They promote security, but the homebase inside your house is useless if the videos can be controlled by hitting the reset button on the actual camera outside. So in essence if someone knows what they are doing they can easily approach your property, hit the reset button on top of the device and 10 seconds later...you won’t even have access to the footage of them doing it. Buyer BEWARE!! Do not purchase until they address this reported issue!!!

Also, our users will still see the video clips when someone pressed the sync button on the camera. In this way, the camera system can still protect the security of our users. New 2k model that only has been showing up on Best Buy right now that I’ve seen. Works great and has HomeKit support and allows for HomeKit Secure video support as well.

Doorbell chime inside home acts as bridge linking as many 16 Eufy devices to one wifi channel. When on sale again may buy additional units for inside home.

Other cameras have been up for about a week, they are still at 100%, motion detection is very good.

You have to sacrifice features for battery life. If you want to have a 'whole year' of battery life you need to turn features all the way down sacrificing surveillance. Only two months in and already we have to charge a few cameras. Definitely not recommended for commercial use with high traffic. If you want good surveillance go with wired cameras for sure or cameras with solar panels. Note: Customer service is mediocre at best.
