    The Eufy 2K security floodlight is my second Eufy device, the first being the Eufy doorbell camera. Just like the doorbell camera, installation is very straightforward. You remove the existing light, install the new light with the included hardware and turn the power back on. From there you follow the instructions to get the camera connected to your wireless internet and sync to the Eufy app. It took about 25 minutes to do the total install and to have the camera activated and setup to record events outside my basement door. The quality of the video is great and once setup the camera does a very good job recognizing humans. You have the option of the camera being activated by anything moving in the area or only if it recognizes a person. I use the human recognition so not to get too many notifications. The light is bright and can be adjusted in the Eufy app to meet your liking. It is nice knowing that I have a nice security camera watching the most vulnerable area of my house and I have the ability to communicate via voice through the camera if I ever needed to speak to my kids or anyone else that might be on the patio. There are multiple settings that can be adjusted and multiple modes the camera can operate in including a geofencing mode and a schedule mode. I can't think of anything negative about the camera/flood light combo. I'm glad I took the time to install it and just like my Eufy doorbell camera, it works very well.

    Reviewed this unit previously, was working great until it stopped connecting to the network for no good reason. Had other Eufy cams further away and they connected with no issues. Because I was working with a developer on support for this camera in an open source app I use, I decided to purchase another one (since I got the first one free as part of BB's TIN program. Connected it to the network and put in place. 2-3 days later the same thing happened. I brought it inside and put it next to my router and still couldn't connect. I think it might be a firmware issue but I returned it and can't recommend it anymore. Thankfully BB's great returns policy made it easy.

      1. Please make sure you choose the "Floodlight" when you try to add the device.
      2. Floodlight Cam only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Please double-check if you had configured a 5GHz Wi-Fi. This is very important. Your phone should connect to the 2.4G HZ wifi.
      3. Please double-check if you have entered the correct Wi-Fi name and password.
      4. Some homes may have 2 network devices set up, for example, one is the ISP provided Internet gateway/modem and the other is a router purchased separately. During setup, make sure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi router Floodlight Cam is connected to.
      5. Please check if you have set a firewall or whitelist on the router. If yes, please add Floodlight into the router’s firewall or whitelist.
      6. Your phone should not be connected to the Guest Wi-Fi network. The LAN port is not dedicated to a set-top box.
      7. Floodlight Cam might take up to one minute to boot up. Please wait until the LED on Floodlight Cam turns from red to white.
      8. Make sure you press and hold the SYNC button located on top of Floodlight Cam until you hear a beep. eufy

    Love all of the features and functions. The portal needs to be updated with full services activated. At best this unit is flakey. Has a major problem staying connected to the wifi and is clearly within great signal strength. But that is its Achilles' heal. Otherwise its is everything I wanted. Further getting a real tech online is a joke. The phone number provided is NOT in service with this company. I hope they resolve this issue....because I will not purchase another until they do.

    Contrary to the advertising, the lights do not respond to motion detection in any way. Support is completely unresponsive.

    It took me a little while to finally get an electrician over here to install my camera outside on my garage, but I was amazed at the results! After a few little hiccups with mounting the camera, I was able to start setup. I have the Eufy deadbolt lock, with the fingerprint scanner, so I definitely had to give this one a try. The picture is extremely clear and the camera did not feel light cheap like other cameras similar to this. I love the fact that you can record videos without a fee unlike all the others do. I also like the communication as far as talking to someone in the driveway, but the problem is, you sound extremely low and hard to hear. On the other hand I can hear them loud and clear on my end. Hopefully that'll be a problem that'll be corrected. I love the night vision and it has a really clear picture. On one of my other devices, the night vision is so horrible I don't even use it because you really can't see a thing when is in that mode. I also like the fact that you can record up to 2 minutes of anyone walking past your house, or you can set it up for any movement at all including vehicles. One thing I can say, is that the lights are extremely bright and the areas are well lit. Overall, I've enjoyed it so much, that I'm going to buy the doorbell sometime this week or next week. If you want to grab a great flood light with a beautiful picture at a phenomenal price, with all the special features it comes with for free, this is your product!

    This is my third garage camera in the last three years and it is the clear winner over my other two devices. It is sensitive enough to capture what I want to see, yet doesn’t give me false alarms if a raccoon walks by it. EUFY did a lot right with this product. Starting right out the box, they have a standard cord wired to it so that this can be set up in the comfort your home. Once the wireless connectivity is set up, it is as simple as disconnecting the supplied power cord and hooking it up outside. Once installed, turn it on and it’s all set and ready to go. All needed hardware is supplied to hook into your existing junction box. A handy hook is provided to hang the camera while you wire it up and the mounting is easy with a long bolt that easily installs. I was impressed with how simple this was to install. I have it set to only notify me if it senses a person outside, so I am not constantly alerted to every movement. There is the option to set it to all movement as well. There are five sensitivity settings and I have it set to the 4th highest setting. So far, this seems about right. It records the movement that it detects whenever one of us steps onto the driveway. It captures all the way from the house to across the street when someone walks their dogs. It also gives me a live view with the ability to capture a screen shot. The pictures are descent quality and clear. There is a sleep time function so that if someone is out playing basketball in the driveway, I can stop the detection for a period of 30 minutes to six hours. I can control everything from my phone and the application is easy to use and follow. The application provides a list of events by day so that I can easily look back to see what happened during a given period. Finally, EUFY provides storage, the application and all connectivity for no subscription costs. This is so refreshing after having a monthly bill in the past. I get everything and more here for just the cost of the device. This is a well designed, intelligent, attractive and useful device at a reasonable cost. I will be adding more home device options from EUFY in the near future.

    Camera is sensitive enough out of the box and the video quality is excellent. Faces are easy to make out at night and during the day. The settings allow for just people to activate the camera or all motions, which is handy depending on the installation location. Mine looks at the driveway over the garage, so I opted for all motion and it picks up everything that is in the driveway. The light is perfect. It's bright and comes on when there is motion at night which is just what I wanted. Installation is simple and straightforward. I also like the onboard storage so there is no separate hub or subscription of any kind.

    I bought 4 of these and ended up returning all 4. When I called the Tech. line to get info on setting up the app, the lady told me that I would have to completely remove the fixture to reboot it. I decided to go with ring . It seems much more convenient to use.
