    Rating in zero. The complete security system is not functioning properly since originally installed in November. Answer was “Alexa and Eufy still working out software issues, give it a few months. Then I bought the new Garage camera and still not working. After Geek service attempt #5 I was told to replace the Show 5 with another Show 8. It still does not work. I have purchased 2 replacement items out of pocket and taken off work 5 full afternoons for Geeks and the system does not work! A month ago your store “manager” promised to replace with Ring but when Geeks showed up they only had permission to troubleshoot.

    Great camera, security concerns

    This really is an impressive camera with great features. It really made me consider switching all my cameras to eufy except for a few big flaws. The quality of the camera is great. It feels very well built and was very easy to install. Everything went together with one big bolt. Three unit can be adjusted to either fit vertically on a wall or under an eve. Either way seemed to work great but the eve install worked best for me. The video quality is by far the best of any of my cameras. It Crystal clear in both day and night. It also has some neat features to let you know if it sees a person and can differentiate between people and cars so you don’t get tons of notifications from the street. The app works really well. It’s easy see your video feed and watch history that is stored locally on the unit or you can buy additional cloud storage. I didn’t like that there was a whole tab in the app just to sell you more cameras. I get that eufy wants to sell you cameras, but would prefer having an app that just does what I want instead of selling me more stuff. What I really didn’t like. About three days after I received my camera there was news about eufy’s camera feeds being viewable by complete strangers. They said it was an update bug, but the idea of my camera feed being viewable by total strangers made me second guess the security of this product and whether I should switch. My second issue was I could never get this camera to connect to my google home. Given that I like all my smart home devices to work with google home, this issue really made me think again about gettiany more of these cameras. Overall it’s a great camera but has a few big flaws that keep me from recommending.

    I'm a Eufy Fan For Life

    Up front I will admit that I have used the competitors and although they are good but the Eufy - Security Floodlight Cam 2k with Built-in AI, 2K Resolution, 2-Way Audio is the hands down winner. Why? No monthly subscription fees and 2K coverage. The quality is top notch and although the company name my not be as familiar as the bigger companies Eufy is every bit as compatable with Google and Alexa as they are. Since I have other Eufy cameras it was a breeze to add to my system completely seamless integration. Weatherproof, excellent picture and coverage too. The eufy - Security Floodlight Cam 2k with Built-in AI, 2K Resolution, 2-Way Audio, No Monthly Fees and lower priced than the more recognizable brands, how can you go wrong? Cheers!

    I chose Eufy security floodlight camera because I already owned Eufy doorbell camera, as well. It makes set up and operations very easy and streamlined. Pros: - Easy installation - Bright lights - Local storage - Human detection instead of backyard critters - Ability to turn on lights, speaker and microphone from the app - You can snooze notifications Cons: - QR code is installed on the bottom of the camera. Someone can takeover by snapping the QR code. I realize there are other ways to hack the connection, but we shouldn't make it easier. Other than that, we're very happy with the lights and camera. Super bright and great picture quality.

    I love this security floodlight, very easy to set up with minor knowledge of eectrical connection. If you are not 100% comfortable with electricity you may need to contact some professional help, but once it is connected you are all set, easy set up on your phone and you get to set up the alerts and even do live view. You can even use it as a 2 way radio, make it great for those times when you have people comingover and you are not home lets you talk through the actual camera. I am in love with and and it is a plus on how bright these lights are.

    This is perfect for my driveway right now, if I need to get something out of my car (like my kids) I couldn’t ask for a better light than this, I replaced my decretive light with this t combine my old camera and light into one device that I don’t need to change the battery on. So first thing to note is that it isn’t battery powered, there also isn’t much data on power consumption so I am planning on wiring a power meter in eventually as I want another one for out back on my shed once I build that but I’ll need to build a battery/solar enclosure to keep that thing up and running. Alexa, Google Assistant integration, I can ask Alexa, “who is at the Garage?” and it launches Eufy and shows me the live feed right on my Alexa (if you have one with a screen). On my phone if it detects a face I’ll get a picture of the person with the notification there was motion which was awesome. A couple of times it didn’t send a picture, just the notification, and few times it was delayed by about 5 seconds when I would purposely never let it see my face. If I just walked into its view the notification was almost instant with my face included. For a wireless camera I was really impressed with the 2 way communication as well, there is maybe a 1 second delay tops (poor performance can be attributed to your Wi-Fi, but other systems are not nearly as good as this one on my network which hasn’t changed). One interesting thing is that during the setup it set up the floodlight camera separately from my regular cameras and game me new modes to customize (you can have up to three customized modes). This may work for you but is slightly annoying as I can’t add automations between the cameras like if the front door senses motion to trigger the motion lights too. In fact I didn’t see any automation menu for this camera at all. Overall, this is a great camera especially as a stand-alone product. If you already have Eufy products it is also great, but it doesn’t have any value over being a nice camera and only have one app. Pros: -Resolution -Face Detection -Fast notifications -Fast two way communication -Wi-Fi camera (120V AC required for power) -Bright LED spotlights -Easy setup -Customizable modes -Alexa, Google integration -Android and iOS app -3.7GB usable local storage Cons -No interaction with Homebase 2 for Automations and/or increased local storage.

    I owned this one, too many false alarms, a garbage bag can be detected as human and the light keep on and off whole night long, also the internal 4gb ram only can storage 2.5 days video. If I can I would return it.

    No monthly fees, local storage, bright light, clear audio, and simple install makes this an easy spotlight camera to recommend. It was replacing an existing spotlight and the process start to finish took 20-ish minutes. video clarity is great but you need something more than a phone to see the full 2k beauty (my iPhone did lower resolution than the 2k but was still excellent).

    Months later and this product still does not connect to WiFi nor the app and the spotlight doesn’t work consistently. I would like to return it.

      In this case, could you please enable HotSpot on your phone and make the camera connect to your hotspot to see if it works? Steps:side menu>my devices>wifi connection>change wifi

      If your camera can connect with the Hotspot, the issue should be related to your wifi. To locate the issue, may I know whether other devices connected to the wifi can work normally? If yes, please try the following steps to see if the issue will be resolved quickly.

      -Make sure your wifi is 2.4 Hz wifi
      -Confirm if your wifi is encrypted by WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK
      -If possible, move the router closer to the floodlight camera and let us know the distance between the camera and router
      -Some houses have two network devices. For example, one is the ISP-provided Internet gateway/modem and the other is a router purchased separately. During setup, make sure your smartphone and camera are connected to the same wireless router, and the Wi-Fi is not isolated from the LAN.
      -Your phone should not be connected to the Guest Wi-Fi network. The LAN port is not dedicated for a set>top->box.
      -Turn off the firewall to see whether the camera can connect to WiFi. If so, please check your firewall setting to see if there are any special restrictions for the device. You can check the firewall setting on your router's official website.Please make sure these ports are allowed:
      TCP:80, 443
      UDP:0-65535

      1. Floodlight Cam only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Please check if you had configured a 5GHz Wi-Fi.
      2. Please double-check if you have entered the correct Wi-Fi name and password.
      3. Some homes may have 2 network devices set up, for example, one is the ISP provided Internet gateway/modem and the other is a router purchased separately. During setup, make sure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi router Floodlight Cam is connected to.
      4. Please check if you have set a firewall or whitelist on the router. If yes, please add Floodlight into the router’s firewall or whitelist.
      5. Your phone should not be connected to the Guest Wi-Fi network. The LAN port is not dedicated for a set-top-box.
      6. Floodlight Cam might take up to one minute to boot up. Please wait until the LED on Floodlight Cam turns from red to white.7. Make sure you press and hold the SYNC button located on top of Floodlight Cam until you hear a beep.

      When night vision doesn’t work properly or when the livestream remains dark at night, please make sure you have checked the following tips.

      1. Make sure you have turned on the Night Vision or Auto Night Vision mode in the eufySecurity app.

      2. Check if there are red IR lights in front of the security camera in night vision mode.

      3. Check if the security camera works well during the daytime.

      If the camera works well during the daytime but the image is dark at night, try shaking the camera several times to resolve the IR cut sensor problem.

    Be careful to follow installation instructions carefully. App great allows programming of lights and great image quality. Of course harder to install than battery units but bright lights and no recharging another great way to watch property

    This device paired great with my existing Eufy camera doorbell. Synchronizing the two was a cinch and I can view them both easily in the app. Outdoor installation requires basic electrical knowledge as it does require you to splice wires. You need an existing floodlight or junction box to install this properly. As with the doorbell, the video is crystal clear and you can speak through it to people (very loudly) to frighten off would be burglars or a fun scare for guests. The LED’s are incredibly white and bright and light my very long driveway. The motion sensor needs to be relatively low (they recommend ten feet or less) so if you are at the top of a hill or have high eaves it may not work as well.

    Really solid floodlight cam. I have an entire house of Ring products but gave this a try. Installation is as expected, not difficult but of course not plug and play. The quality is impressive. 2k is more than enough. It gets the job done. 2 way audio, I personally don't see ourselves ever using it but it's a nice option to have. No monthly fees is always nice, but that's pretty standard. Aesthetically it's definitely unique to eufy but doesn't look super amazing. If you need a solid floodlight cam on a budget, this is perfect. Note too that this is the newest model and not the previous model at a reduced price.

    Love this security flood light. Easy to install and nicely packaged. App was on apple store but you will need to set up an account. They email you a verification and the app funds the camera. One of those weird deals though where you connect to its WiFi on the app and then sync kind of a pain and always takes a few tries. Anyway light is so darn bright I’m worried about blinding someone I might move it further away. Overall I am pleased with the light and its functionality and will recommend to neighbors and friends. Hope this helps!

    I mounted this camera/flood light over my detached garage. It replaced a camera (no flood light) that was previously in place but has been disconnecting from my Wifi a lot lately. It also replaced an old flood light (two for one!) that hadn't worked in a long time. I was relieved to find the issue was with the old flood light and wiring the new light was not a problem...or so my handyman tells me :-) I've used other Eufy products in the past and found them to be user friendly. No complaints with the app functionality. I like that you have the option of storing videos locally on the actual device or subscribing to Eufy's cloud storage. Personally, for the cost Eufy offers their storage at, I would recommend it since you never know what can happen to the actual unit. As I mentioned, my unit is hooked up to the outside of my detached garage which is a little ways away from my modem/router meaning it needs to be able to receive the Wifi signal from a bit of distance. So far, it has managed that with flying colors and I don't have the spotty coverage my old camera was providing. Great product that works as advertised.

    The eufy Security Floodlight is nice light and security camera. The LED lights are very bright and covers a large area. The Dufy was fairly easy to setup. I ran into a slight issue because it said that my email address had already been used. I tried having it send an email to reset but I never received the email. I ended up just using another email address to set it up. Once setup, the app works well. The camera does a good job of detecting people and motion. It has replaced our basic floodlight. We not have a floodlight that produces more light than before, while also providing the security and peace of mind.

    Awesome purchase, totally recommend! Video quality is awesome, easy instructions, purschased other components as well. The doorbell did power off the existing doorbell without running new electrical which was sweet! Really happy with our purchase!
