Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the excellent camera quality, bright light, and ease of use of the Outdoor Wired 2K Floodlight Surveillance Camera. Many also praise the straightforward installation process and user-friendly app. While some users find the motion detection sensitive, the lack of required subscriptions and generally positive feedback on price are also frequently mentioned.

The Eufy Smart Flood Light 2K is a great Smart flood light. No subscription. Installation was very easy. It took five minutes. Thank you for the hook Eufy! The picture quality is fantastic and Amazon Alexa integration is good. This unit has onboard Human detection AI and, so far, I have received no false positives. My unit faces our back yard and the trees, rain or cats have not set off the motion detection. When installing the light, be sure that your WiFi is strong in that area. Most issues arise because the signal is bad where the unit has been installed. One quibble- I wish that we users had an option for more storage. I understand that allowing a compatible smart card slot on the unit itself would probably raise the price but, you have a HomeBose storage solution already in your ecosystem. Let us use it! Beyond that, I am very happy with the 2K Smart Floodlight. I also own a Eufy doorbell and a Eufy lock. They both just work. Now THIS is directed at Best Buy - The smart flood light did not come in a “Best Buy” box. The manufacturers box arrived covered in three or four layers of Black Plastic Stretch Wrap Film. It provided absolutely NO protection from the brutality of the chosen shipper. Consequently, the Eufy box arrived scuffed and damaged. That is NOT what I want. I will consider picking up my item at a Best Buy store rather than have it shipped from now on.

After trying and returning another brand of floodlight cam I bought this, and have been very satisfied. Prod: Video quality is very good. More importantly, motion detection sensitivity is good without producing too many false alarms. I returned the other brand of floodlight because it was too sensitive to cars 25 feet away (and outside of the drawn detection zone), constantly triggering the floodlight during the night, but struggles to detect humans only 12 feet away. The activity zone for motion detection works well to exclude traffic/motion outside of the zone, except for human/car shadows late in the afternoon. Installation was simple and straight forward. I did not have to download the android app, because it uses the same app as my Eufy doorbell. Also, it does not require a monthly subscription fee. Con: Only 2 major shortcomings: 1) lightbulbs are not replaceable, and 2) only 4GB of non-expendable internal memory, so cannot record 24/7, unlike other brands of floodlights which can support up to 128GB of external memory. Overall a very good floodlight cam.

Great product, but motion lights turn on unexpectedly at times. It is nice to be able to see who is on our property and alerts come immediately.

Easy to install. Motion detection is pretty good. No subscription necessary is great. Local storage is only 3.7GB but really, it is adequate as most detections are just us walking around outside. Light is nice and bright. Only issue so far is false human detections where I get a notification and it is my papaya tree or my hose reel. They are just a couple a week and usually when the shadow is just moving over them as the sun moves

The Eufy cameras work great. Easy to install and adjust, excellent motion detection settings, high quality camera day or night, good options on light settings(ie motion only, always on or dawn to dusk), the lights are VERY bright so make sure you point them down a bit, lots of notification options, sleep options all with no required subscription service.

The camera runs great. The picture is clear,. Light is bright. Sound is crisp. All exceeded my expectations especially after getting this on a good deal. The storage seems to hold up well. Has about 3.7GBs of storage. With about 60 30-60 second recordings, I had 3GBs left. Which is enough. I live in NYC so I get a lot of activity. The storage doesn’t seem to be my concern. If you feel the need for more storage you can buy cloud for $3/ month or $10/month if you have more than 1 EUFY camera. The SETUP WAS HORRIBLE. I thought it would be simple like many smart devices would be but for some reason this thing wouldn’t connect to my wifi. I have one of those Linksys velop wifi 6 mesh routers with an additional node. I almost returned this thing after trying almost everything I could. Until I found this strange solution on Reddit. SOLUTION TO WIFI PROBLEM: I simple changed my iPhone time zone to Sydney, Australia time zone and proceeded with the setup on my iPhone and for some strange reason the camera ended up connecting to the wifi. I put my phone back to my time zone and everything worked as expected

Easy install, bright lights with the ability to change the brightness. Connection to home wifi was easy. Ability tomview 24/7 was a plus. Should have come with more memory or ability to add more storage. Perfect light/camera for my needs.

Love this item. Although aesthetically it doesn't look as good as some of the other flood light cameras you just can't beat the price. Clear picture and sound plus very bright.

Replaced a defective camera - working well since

Works well in most all situations detecting people and not other moving objects. I use this over a driveway and installed it in Spet 2022. In January, it stopped responding as the main smart camera would not "wake-up" even after power cycling. Eufy was contacted and promptly sent me a replacement and a return package for the old, defective one. They made the warranty replacement process easy and painless. My guess is the original camera had a power outage or corrupted firmware update. Eufy pushes updates automatically with no use choice. Regardless, the replacement has been working fine for 6+ months now. I'd still recommend it for a outdoor security camera.

Greta camera. Can be better. Wish they’d hurry up and add Homebase support for these. It gets everything in motion. Wish I could disable pet notification. Stuck with setting to human only and missing vehicles. Or all motion and getting all the animals. Wish eufy could release a firmware to give a third option. Lastly while adjusting the camera and on the base, the ball joint broke. Cheap material used. But I got it on sale so I guess I’ve got to move on. All in all it works. Clear quality images

Got this on sale for $100 and it's a good value at that price point. Easy to install, provides clear video. Human detection is generally quite good. It's not as bright as the Pro version or provide the same field of view, but for our setup it covers and lights up all the viewable area it needs to. The eufySecurity app also works fine. Note that this does not support streaming to a NAS, which is fine for me, but if that's what you're interested in look elsewhere.
