Went up easy in old spot light spot. Easy to connect to ring app with other devices. Very sensitive to movement. Sometimes maybe too much. But cant complain. Lights are bright and can turn them on from the app if need be.

I already had the eufy doorbell and wanted the floodlight for the garage. Was able to add it to my existing app on my phone and now can view the door and driveway. Easy setup and works great!

I just wanted a security system to alert me and make noise if someone intrudes. Eufy is doing a great job of that. The floodlight works perfectly in my situation. App could use some improvements, such as one homebase alerting another, but overall, very good.

Excellent device. Has all the features I was looking for. Replaced motion sensor flood light. Easy installation. Performance as expected. App easy to use. Recommend especially if you don’t want to pay monthly fees for cloud storage or want the added security of local video storage.

I got this camera on deal of the day. Its pretty good for the $100 I spent! I had to restart it once and sometimes it takes a sec to load when someone is detected. Otherwise, image quality is great and audio is good too!

Had two Arlo 3 floodlights and both had unreliable sensor dectecting issues. They worked but only about 3/4 of the time. I returned them because it did not make sense to have a light that was so unreliable. Took a chance on Eufy after reviewing and now I own three total. Hands down smokes Arlo. Better in everyway. With motion detection these lights are a super star. I dont know how they do it but they sense outside the cameras viewing area. It states they only sense within the viewing angle of what you see on the camera but the results I get are different. They def cover a wider angle by a lot. Very impressive. I got mine for 129.00 on sale and that is a steal for what you get. Honestly they are worth the normal 199.00 that I see reguraly at this time. Great software.and hardware for the money. No cloud needed to top it off! Go get one you wont be sorry.

I have several Eufy products because I like that there is no subscription service required. My biggest issue with the product is , how truly close you need to have it to your router to have it reliable connect. When it has you test the wifi connection before mounting it to the wall, make sure it has full bars. I installed it with one bar missing thinking it would be fine as the app's revision at the time didn't bark at me. The issue is, it would not reliable connect through the app. If you are willing to install a wireless repeater, this can remedy the issue. The lights turn on via motion detection as expected and the video quality is good.

I've tried Ring devices and were ok but Eufy is definitely a better buy for so many reasons! -Better signal, never miss or get interruptions with detected videos. - no subscriptions

I have tried a few floodlight cams and even reviewed one from another vendor here and I have always come away with a less than satisfying experience due to the number of false positives on motion detection. This is a particularly important thing for me as my floodlight mount is right outside my bedroom window and I am an exceptionally light sleeper. As in; if there is any change in the ambient light, I wake up. It got so bad with the last one I tried that I ended up turning it off when I went to bed, which totally defeats the purpose and had me missing what was going on in the deep night. However, I have also reviewed the Eufy Security cams with the home base for Best Buy and I was thoroughly impressed with their built in AI, their motion detection discrimination, and the rarity of false alarms. So impressed in fact, that I went out that week and bought a third camera. Given my experience with Eufy products in general, I was more than willing to give their floodlight cam a try. I was not let down by Eufy and once again I must say that they have some of the best motion detection/AI in the market. I have not received a single false alarm since installing and have gotten a real insight into the neighborhood wildlife’s use of my backyard as a thoroughfare! (Time to replace my fence…) An easy installation was made even easier by the fact that Eufy wires the unit to a standard AC plug so that you can set it all up from the app while it is still in your house instead of trying to juggle a phone or tablet while you are on a ladder. I have tested/used a few floodlight cams in the past and never saw this before. It is such a simple addition but so thoughtful and efficient! I am really pleased with all aspects of this unit. I have no issues with connectivity dropping off, the images and stream are clear, and the viewing angle is generous giving me a great view of my backyard day or night. The sound is clear and in tests with my neighbor I could hear them (and they could hear me) quite clearly. The included siren is also loud enough to be heard down the block. And the lights are bright enough to illuminate my yard all the way to the fence. There are only two things in my opinion that could be changed to make this the “perfect” floodlight cam. There is no way to get an RTSP stream out of the device, which prevents me from adding it into my smart home management system (or a PC based DVR like Blue Iris) although I can concede that this is not something the average consumer might care about. The more important thing is that while it does not *require* a Eufy security home base, it also does not currently support connecting to one either. This means that in the Eufy Security App, if you have any of their home base type cams and the 2k Floodlight, they show up in separate sections and must be managed separately as well. That means when you are changing modes (for instance; from Home to Away) you must go to two different places in the app instead of just setting the mode for all the cams that are connected. Interestingly enough, there IS a sync button on the top of the 2k Floodlight Cam just like all the home base cams – it just does not do anything at the moment. Seems to me that this could be activated in the future via a firmware/software update. I can’t imagine going through the trouble of putting it there unless there was going to be some future use for it and I am hoping that Eufy follows through on this soon as it is the one annoyance in an otherwise superb floodlight cam.

As far as motion detection, the floodlight cam works excellent. Better than all other eufy cameras that we'd tried. We mounted it over the garage door, and it never missed. But the light brightness remained the same all night, during recording and no recording. We adjusted the ambient brightness level from 10 - 50%, and the motion-activated level at 100%. No different. We tried & tried to communicate to eufy support, but our efforts felt to deaf ears. We keep it, since the motion detection recording is good, and we did not want to face another potential problem by removing, returning and installing another one.

Bought this cause i was so impressed with the eufy doorbell. This one is definitely nice. Picture quality is better than my doorbell. And has features like siren,2 way talk,light on off control all from the app.

It was very easy to install and set-up. We purchased two floodlights and after no more than two weeks one of the floodlight video has a pinkis-red tint during daylight hours. It still functions but it is annoying.

Positive: Clear video. Negative: weak wifi signal Motion detection is very sensitive even if you turn it all the way down.

Very easy to install. I love the app on my phone that connects to the camera. I can view camera while away from home with no cloud subscription. Great product.

Probably one of the best security cameras We’ve ever used. So far we have not had any issues with it. Top quality for its 2k videos.

The Eufy floodlight cams picture and video quality are not bad. The settings app gives you many options for how you want your cam to function. No problems connecting to myWiFi .

Hands down best surveillance camera for your money. I have 3 of them plus other models of eufy in my house. I love the fact that i dint need to pay subscriptions

We couldn't be any more pleased, we ditched the monthly fees and receive the same quality of security and picture quality.
