Customers are saying

Customers admire the excellent video quality, ease of use, and impressive battery life of the Smart Wi-Fi Video Doorbell. Many also appreciate the straightforward installation process and the included storage options. However, some users find the motion detection unreliable and experience delays in notifications or app response. A few also commented on the doorbell's larger size compared to wired models.

Good basic video doorbell that is user friendly. Really happy with the ease of setup of the device and that it uses a base station with no subscription costs. The notification of movement or alert is not instantaneous it is usually delayed a couple of seconds but overall no major complaints about the device or my experience using it.

I have tested 4 doorbells now (Nest Hello, Ring Pro, Ring 2 and this) and I was really excited about this one but there was so many missed motions and missed people detected, seems it only detected people when they got right to my door. I wish there would've been a way to turn off the AI so I could get motion alerts for everything (I tried every setting and motion zones to no avail). For being 2K resolution, the video was less than stellar, the Nest Hello has a lower resolution but a far superior image quality. The no cloud service fee attracted me and I really wanted to love it but when it came to practical performance and being able to detect everything in it's lens along with instant notifications, the Ring Pro was ultimately the best overall despite having a speaker lower in quality and clarity than both the Hello and Eufy (Which pains me to say because the Nest Hello would be leaps and bounds better than the rest if the notifications weren't aggravatingly and unacceptably slow)

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It's unusual for this product to be acting like this, and we'd love to get you what you need!

If possible, please try the following steps to see if it still misses the motions:
      1. Go to “Doorbell settings”>"Motion detection”, choose “All motions” as the Detection Type.
      2. Adjust the sensitivity to “High”.
      3. Delete the “Activity Zone” if you have set it.

As for the image quality, please go to “Doorbell settings”>"Video Quality”, adjust both “Streaming Quality” and “Video Encord Format” to “High”.

If it doesn’t help, please reach out to us via [email protected] or call us at +1 (800) 988 7973. We are more than happy to assist you further.

We offer a 12-month warranty for this product, plus lifetime technical support. Our standard for responding to email quests is less than 24 hours, and we look forward to hearing from you! eufy

NO SUBSCRIPTION... this product can store your videos locally, this way you don`t need to pay any company to store your data. This was the decision-maker point for me. Great product, can be used plugged-in or battery, local storage, good night vision, good "phone" communication with the person outside.

I have tried ring and nest but this one has much better picture quality. I also tried vivint and absolutely hated it; you have to pay thousands for the equipments and keep paying for subscription however with eufy you only pay for the equipment which is way cheaper and you don’t pay any subscription unless you want that option.

Pros: No cloud subscription, battery operated so no need to fuss around with wires, however, this model can also be wired, if desired. Cons: Unlike Ring, Eufy will not replace your video doorbell if gets stolen. Bulky and heavy due to being battery operated.

Best doorbell currently on the market. Its got high quality 2K footage, no monthly fee's, excellent low light quality and local storage. The only thing that could make this better is homekit support which I hope comes soon. Buy this version even if your doorbell is wired. Your wired doorbell will keep the battery charged.

Great video doorbell. Amazing picture quality, even at night on my unlit street. I will say my battery does die a lot quicker than advertised but that’s because I have it recording all motion and the camera is aimed at a decently busy road. Not a problem though, it alerts you when the battery is low and is very easy to charge.

I watched an hour long video of security doorbells (Eufy, Amazon, Google, other 3rd parties) and this was rated the highest and I can see why. Great application, free storage with the included base station (which you can use to connect and store all other Eufy camera feeds), constant updates, and great customer support!

Setup - Easy Initial cost - not much more than a ring Expandable I was looking at the Ring Doorbell but really didn't like Amazon requiring the (albiet small) monthly fee to get images or video saved. Also just figure they have enough info on me as is. This device does not connect directly to your Wifi network, instead it connects a home base to your router and then this connects to the base. Super simple to setup with the Eufy App on your phone. (the current wired/no battery Eufy doorbell connects to Wifi and requires some other wire changes at the doorbell unlike this one). I just connected the doorbell to the old wires from my existing Doorbell, keeps the device charged all the time. This also allows my old door chime to ring. Really have not tested Google integration but is did connect to my Alexa Show ok and it works although it does seem slow to "connect" to the video stream of the doorbell. Maybe that's just me but I did not really test it much and disabled the skill after testing. I would have gotten a Ring if that was my main goal. I also purchased some door sensors and the alarm keypad that BB sells, all easy setup and work well.

Pros: * Easy to set-up and use * Battery charge does last as advertised (I've owned it over 7 months now) * You don't have to sign-up for a service (no monthly fees)! Cons: * The 2-way audio cuts in and out a little bit but you can get the messages across Bottomline: Definitely recommend

Honestly I got it because there’s no monthly subscriptions and video are automatically saved on the cloud/home base. The video quality is pretty good but the motion detector sucks. There’s so many times it tells me there’s motion detected and that it’s a human when in reality it’s actually one of my plants of the trash bags. I also had a package stolen from my porch and the camera only recorded the part when the thief was leaving and you could briefly see the package in his hand. I will start looking for another doorbell after this.

Love this video doorbell! It doesn't require a monthly service which is a plus. Now i never have to worry about leaving my house because I'm waiting on a package and I don't have to open the door to solicitors. The mobile app is easy to use and the video quality is great. I highly recommend this products!

Fairly easy to set-up. Have had a couple of times in the early morning hours where I’ve left the house and it didn’t catch me leaving. I’m still working on addressing this with the settings - I have a pretty tight entry space for the doorbell camera. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

Easy to install with some well thought out features. Local recording and no membership needed. This is my second Eufy purchase and starting to look at other products they sell after the quality and prices I’ve paid. I have a home that has full smart home capability and this was an awesome addition.

I LOVE this doorbell. I needed it to put at my grandpas house so I could monitor people going to his home and there is pretty much no lag in logging in and viewing the picture is crystal clear day or night. Super easy to install in literally minutes after I charged the doorbell up.
