The chime is super loud so that is a plus. However, the doorbell camera itself is faulty. I installed the nest doorbell and the eufy one as well. The eufy did not catch an amazon delivery guy that delivered a package right infront of the doorbell (the nest did).

Reason why I love this door bell camera because there is no extra monthly cost attached to it. Door bell video content will be stored in the base not in the camera doorbell.

I did quite a bit of research on which brand to go with for a new security system. I was torn between Arlo and Eufy, and decided to go with Eufy because of the superior picture quality and locally saving videos instead of pushing it to the cloud. Quite frankly, the picture quality lived up to the expectations. Sadly, nothing else about it actually did. The locally saved videos were a bit of a pain and impossible to scroll to a certain point. That's more of an annoyance than anything. Bought this along with the Eufy add-on security camera. Setup was very easy. Installation of the doorbell wasn't bad. I had upgraded/replaced the transformer for my doorbell and decided to hook this up to the low voltage wires already present and working. My disappointment started with the doorbell's motion detection response. By the time it started recording, I was already walking away from the door. I played with the sensitivity settings and motion zones, but it was always too late. I hoped that creating an automation via the add-on security camera would improve the response time (detect motion -> trigger doorbell to start recording also) but that also required that camera to... actually detect something (it didn't). I really wanted to like the system, but I removed the doorbell and the camera, boxed it all back up, and returned it the very next day. Even after all the research, I came to the conclusion that this isn't it.

Great doorbell and I love it. But I wish there was a grace period in the app with motion detection so I don’t get alerts every 2 seconds when taking out the trash

These doorbell cameras work decently— that is, if you can get one that actually functions. Both the doorbells and the homebases are of low quality control, so we had to send back two defective sets before our third one worked as it was supposed to. You will be getting a good doorbell camera eventually, but it may be a big headache of dealing with Eufy/Anker until they send you one that actually works.

Very happy with this product, purchased for use on an apartment which could not be hard wired. Stores video clips with no additional charges/monthly fees.

Works great for homes where wires may not be available. Battery life is approximately 2% drain a day with normal use. Recharging is easy and takes a few hours.

Nice doorbell. Note that screws are really bad and I got both of them stripped even with manual screw driver. I have to buy a oscillating tool to fix it. Be careful ...

We love our Eufy video doorbell. It notifies us when someone come up to the door and we don’t have to subscribe to any service. All you need is an app on your smartphone.

Cameras are very accurate and I love that it doesn't have to pay monthly fee. Also I like the way the camera takes a picture of person once it gets a good facial shot

I'm a fan of the EUFY security cameras! They do NOT charge you a SUBSCRIPTION FEE to watch your own security videos like several other companies do! Eufy also includes ample storage. However if you are the type of person who wants to save MOUNTAINS of video (of "nothing" going on outside your house) you can for some devices and hubs buy extra storage or you can pay for additional cloud storage. If something does occur that you need to save you can download your videos. I originally installed a wired doorbell at my front door, along with an overhead camera - one that must be charged once a year - at the front door. The two cameras at the front door offer different perspectives. The doorbell gets a full front view of faces while the overhead camera is looking down at an angle at the top of heads as people approach the door. The two at the front door was what inspired me to want to add this battery operated camera to the garage wall in the back, so that in addition to the floodlight camera over the top of the door, I could get a better view of the face of anyone approaching the back door and garage. My only regret is that this doorbell camera must be recharged every 180 days - more often in colder weather. It would be complicated to hard wire this, but since it's at eye level, taking it down once every few months isn't that much of a challenge or deal breaker. I have 10 Eufy cameras around the house and more recently added solar chargers to most of them so most no longer need to be taken down to recharge. The majority of Eufy stand alone cameras I own are now connected to solar chargers. The exceptions are for this doorbell, the camera at the front door and the second camera over the front door that gets nothing but shade. This company makes great quality cameras. The vast majority are triggered by motion and do not record 24/7. In recent years they have added a few with longer recording times but I've not used them. Additional features now include AI for identifying faces, and geofencing that automatically gets triggered when the primary cell phone with the app leaves the house. Geo-fencing can also be manually set when you are at home when needed. What that means is that as anyone approaches your house they will trigger an alarm. I like that feature because it causes people to look up and look directly into the camera. With Eufy devices you can also have a 2-way conversation with every camera and doorbell when people are outside. This can happen if you are at home OR if you're away through the phone app. I installed the Eufy Floodlight over my garage (also hardwired). It may be due to a setting change I need to do, but the interaction with Alexa Echo screens is slower than it should be. I see animals and people outside. This is a great system!

We had some problems around our area. So I went shopping for security for my home. This Efuy system was on sale so I got it and it works great. Thanks Best Buy

Very happy with this so far but it’s only been a few weeks. I don’t think the battery will as long as they say though.

Great for no subscription based camera. Sometimes the alerts are delayed by like 5-10 minutes which can be annoying

Overall a good system. I sometimes have issues with the proximity sensor. But I like that I don't have to pay a subscription with this system.

Great device I can view my camera anywhere with internet access. No subscription necessary so that’s a bonus for me. Recommend.

Impressive video quality and a good app to go with it to control it. I love the notifications and feel a lot more secure with it. No regrets.

Works great with the eufy wireless camera as well. My wifi is pretty good so I don't experience too much lag. Awesome for a wireless system
