Was easy to install and setup and the video resolution was clearly much higher than a ring doorbell I previously had

I'm a fan of the EUFY security cameras! They do NOT charge you a SUBSCRIPTION FEE to watch your own security videos like several other companies do! Eufy also includes ample storage. However if you are the type of person who wants to save MOUNTAINS of video (of "nothing" going on outside your house) you can for some devices and hubs buy extra storage or you can pay for additional cloud storage. If something does occur that you need to save you can download your videos. I originally installed a wired doorbell at my front door, along with an overhead camera - one that must be charged once a year - at the front door. The two cameras at the front door offer different perspectives. The doorbell gets a full front view of faces while the overhead camera is looking down at an angle at the top of heads as people approach the door. The two at the front door was what inspired me to want to add this battery operated camera to the garage wall in the back, so that in addition to the floodlight camera over the top of the door, I could get a better view of the face of anyone approaching the back door and garage. My only regret is that this doorbell camera must be recharged every 180 days - more often in colder weather. It would be complicated to hard wire this, but since it's at eye level, taking it down once every few months isn't that much of a challenge or deal breaker. I have 10 Eufy cameras around the house and more recently added solar chargers to most of them so most no longer need to be taken down to recharge. The majority of Eufy stand alone cameras I own are now connected to solar chargers. The exceptions are for this doorbell, the camera at the front door and the second camera over the front door that gets nothing but shade. This company makes great quality cameras. The vast majority are triggered by motion and do not record 24/7. In recent years they have added a few with longer recording times but I've not used them. Additional features now include AI for identifying faces, and geofencing that automatically gets triggered when the primary cell phone with the app leaves the house. Geo-fencing can also be manually set when you are at home when needed. What that means is that as anyone approaches your house they will trigger an alarm. I like that feature because it causes people to look up and look directly into the camera. With Eufy devices you can also have a 2-way conversation with every camera and doorbell when people are outside. This can happen if you are at home OR if you're away through the phone app. I installed the Eufy Floodlight over my garage (also hardwired). It may be due to a setting change I need to do, but the interaction with Alexa Echo screens is slower than it should be. I see animals and people outside. This is a great system!

Really like this product it's reasonably priced. Looks good and does every thing I wanted for a smart door bell

took a while to figure out installation. but it works great and provides the security we were looking for.

Eufy doorbell has all the nice features which I needed and no subscription at all. This camera has 2K recording.

This is my second one for another house. If I owned a third house I would buy another one. Great doorbell!!!

Ended up picking this up after returning a ring doorbell and couldnt be more happy with my Eufy doorbell.

Best purchase I ever made. Peace of mind in a world of chaos. Kids are no longer afraid to be home alone.

Works well, but wish that you could use google home mini as doorbell like you can with the alexa

When i try to connect the wired doorbell to the home box, keeps saying home base is busy or can not connect or can not find. Tried to contact support 3x before they got back to me with a generic answer. Will return and get something else.

Great system, no complaints since I got it, good value and off the cloud.

Camera has great viewing range, power life span, and features for configuring based on my needs.

Works great as a replacement to wired door bell. App is easy to use and wireless setup was no problem.

Pro: local storage so no cloud fees. Con: app could use a little refining but it's adequate.

It is a really good product. It doesn't require a subscription. It works fine and gets the job done.

The worst battery life ever. Choose something other than this BS brand. I purchased doorbell and additional camera it all sucks. Not real time, doesn’t detect motion although I set up activity zones and is always going dead. Zero stars if I could. I wish there was a way to show when I put it on the charger yesterday and today it’s still on the charger at 39%. I’ve only had them since September 2020.

Great 2k viewing camera and loads up fast. It’s nothing like the ring doorbell camera.

This was a good choice for surveillance of my mother's house. I may get another for my uncle's house.

We are using at a college apartment. Sometimes the Internet slows down the reaction time of the camera.
