Works very well. Good clear picture and sound day and night. Keep porch light on. Videos recorded and stored in the base without a monthly subscription. Protects privacy and saves money. Connected to wires from previous doorbell so it stays charged and the existing chimes work normally. Must carefully follow directions during setup. Eufy should add a few more seconds to the videos before the visitor arrives. Recommended for others to buy.

This is a great product that is well built. The video quality is AMAZING! The only problem that I have is everyday around 4 PM the doorbell turns off and stops recording due to overheating from direct sunlight. I have contacted Eufy about the issue. Customer service is great and very responsive. They are supposedly working on a firmware update to resolve this issue.

I would recommend this product ! It comes with internal video storage instead of the cloud so everything is completely save and in your hands ! The inside face is a chime also so no need to buy or pay extra for the chime, Very little lag time and instant messages has a few of you from top to bottom , face recognition and 2K video that is crystal clear, all the bells and whistles of the other brands but NO subscription!!

I wouldn't recommend this to an enemy. I had very high hopes for this wireless doorbell by Eufy despite the poor reviews but unfortunately found the reviews were accurate. The lag from movement to detection to recording is too great. This is due to the wireless nature. I have excellent Wi-Fi signal with 1G internet, the base is hardwired and literally less than 5' away from the doorbell. It is not a signal issue. Even with the highest sensitivity settings (quickest battery drain too) this still does not react in time to catch a fast walking delivery man. Your lucky to get the back of a head but it's usually the rear of the person while they are halfway back to their vehicle on the street. I'm not exaggerating in fact, they usually are two thirds of the way back. Our front door is appx 50 to 60' from the curb so there should be plenty of distance to pick up movement. There are no trees or brush in the path. When it does work decent is when people are walking on the sidewalk (across the camera's view). The biggest failure I see with this device is detecting movement when it's approaching the camera. I have literally walked up to it at night (porch light high above on nice and bright) and the camera wouldn't come on until I'm right in front of it and saying a few, or many, choice words. If I walk slow it usually picks up the movement but I don't think porch pirates or others concerning individuals are going to slowly approach the camera, smile and say "Cheese!" The video quality is good and I love the fact that the recordings remain on site and not in the cloud. The app was easy to use and learn. Great idea, terrible execution. I had this unit for almost 3 weeks before I returned it to Best Buy. I spent a large amount of time changing settings and camera angles and only received a slight improvement but not nearly enough to justify keeping it. I am replacing this with a wired Arlo doorbell. Everything I've read, wired (powered) is the way to go for quicker response.

I think this was a good buy, however it needs some work. This doesn’t always capture the person before they turn around and walk away. Although I love the battery life, I was also able to hardwire it so I’ll never have to charge it. However the inability to look back at a random event is the trade off, it will only record if something or someone tripped the sensor.

Bought this when it was on sale for under $150. I noticed that the width of the view from this doorbell camera is slightly narrower than the Ring 3 doorbell camera which I also own. It seems to record sooner after a person detection than the Ring 3. The best thing about this is the no subscription for recording with the included Home which also acts as a chime and wifi extender for the doorbell camera.

This video doorbell has great image quality. I have yet to experience a false trigger which is very important to me. Alexa integration is simple and seamless. Currently operating with battery power and the battery is down to 35%. There have only been 16 recorded events over 1 month of use which is not excessive. I plan to purchase a transformer so I don’t have to charge the battery so often.

I purchased the Wireless 2K Camera with the Hub because I wanted to have a separate storage location and knew that it also came with Points to hard wire it in. 4 stars only because it doesn't include any special brackets or longer jumper wires for proper offset positioning. Best of all, no subscription required Be aware, hard wiring this in will move your Door Chime to the Hub.

This is a very good product. The camera itself is very solid and feels high quality. The images are very good quality. The sound comes through well. I wish there wasn't a delay in talking to hearing on the other end but hey - I am a town away. That's still pretty good as far as I'm concerned. The only issue is that with the delay sometimes people leave before I hear the bell and pull the feed up.

I wanted a door bell camera system that did not require a subscription and the Eufy door bell was the answer. I purchased the battery version and it works wells. As far as battery, well that depends on how active your location is. Where I live many people are walking their dogs, jogging, walking, etc. I have to charge the battery every 2 months. Now this is all dependent on how you configure it. I would rather capture everything than miss something. 2 things though, at night, it is not very clear but resolved the issue by adding a battery powered motion detection light from amazon. I hung it on top of the door. Now when someone comes to my door, light gets triggered and then the camera records in color and the picture and video is very clear. Second thing is that it does not record the 2 way conversation between you and the person at the door. It will record the person at the door and their voice but not your voice. From my understanding Eufy is working on this. Other than that, it works well. You may want to test the location before you screw it to the wall. I had to buy the Wasserstein - Vertical Wedge Wall Mount for Eufy Video Doorbell. This helped angle the camera and now captures people coming up to my house. This really depends on your door location and where you want to mount it. For me it was a must to buy and install this, for some, they may not need it.

I bought this along with the Eufy Outdoor Wireless 1080p Security Floodlight Camera (for over our garage) and the eufyCam 2 Pro 2K Indoor/Outdoor Add-on Security Camera (for our backyard). I liked that they store their security videos locally don't require a monthly subscription, and that they plan to integrate with Apple Homekit. Installation was very easy, and they work flawlessly.

Video is very clear and really like the night vision. Very happy with my purchase.
