Loved this Eufy! Battery last longer and able to motion detection zones. Can detect humans only or animals etc. there is a few seconds with notifications, but good enough for me. Use to own Arlo, but this worked a lot better! Arlo went greedy and want to charge for monitoring service when you want to upgrade to a better system. Eufy is my new favorite smart monitoring system!

The battery powered eufy doorbell is an excellent option for those wanting an alternative to a wired device. It has decent features, works very well in light and dark conditions and of course requires NO monthly fees! An added bonus is the the home control unit can also control some other eufy cameras if you decide to go that route. Overall a great product offering.

Very easy to install and works great no false alarms and self charging

Absolutely love this product. Had done extensive reviews, and at the price point (on sale); there is literally no better video doorbell camera to beat the quality and the specs; and most importantly the fact that you are not stuck with a monthly subscription. Eufy for the win on this product! (Being a "gadgeteer", I dont post reviews much, but this was an exceptional product. )

This doorbell works great. The videos are clear and the installation was easy.

I was hoping this product was going to workout but returned. Camera quality was good and storage built in was a good feature. Not have to pay a monthly service was nice. It was very inconsistent and notification was very delayed. Easy to set up. The app and settings was easy to use.

I Bought this security camera for the front door of our house and I must say it was a pretty good investment. Works great and images are pretty clear. I downloaded the app on my phone so I get notifications when someone is at my door! I can even talk to them thought the app. I highly recommend this product.

Love it. Simple and their TechSupport is amazing. Had an issue with mine, (Purple Color images) Opened a ticket and very quickly they sent me a replacement unit. Working great now. Love not having to pay any monthly fee. The only thing I would It can be improved is their detection, I feel it takes a while after it identifies the motion to than record it.

At first it was not clear to me that this system has its own wifi system. I placed the doorbell in our wifi zone, not to far from a netgear satellite router, but far from the doorbell base station. Signal was very poor. When i placed the base station close to the satellite signal is very good and video is excellent. Im happy with the purchase.

It is easy to install. Works fine. No monthly cloud subscription unless you want theirs, it is an option. But disappointed with some of the sneaky missing features most non-tech people will probably not notice but will shorten the useful life of it. The batteries are not removable. The batteries are an integral part of the doorbell. So its not possible to charge a spare set of 18650 lithium batteries for it. You have to take down the whole unit once a recharge is needed. When the useful life of the batteries are exhausted, its time to buy another doorbell. The mounting plate is cheap plastic. It doesn't inspire confidence that anyone can rip it off with their bare hands. The white base unit does not allow for adding additional storage even though it has a USB data port. Yes, data port because it supports Eufy's own external wifi ringer, but not an additional hard drive like a WD Passport. The USB port supports the additional ringer and fast charging the doorbell, that's it. Seems intentional because all of these missing features will shorten its usefulness in the long run. Because of all those missing features, I took away one star. Otherwise, I would have given it a five star rating

This eufy Security Doorbell 2K was quite easy to install and use. The video quality is great and sound is great. Only issue the mobile app is not as user friendly as I would like. I love that I don't have to pay a monthly fee to store video.

Best system on the market as far as I can tell. For starters, there's no subscription fee. Why would I want to pay $200 for a doorbell (Ring, Arlo, Google Nest) that doesn't work how I want it to without a $5/mo fee? Another positive is that video is stored locally with Eufy. I don't like Google, Amazon, etc. owning everything I own and I'm not comfortable with them having video evidence of my home/away schedule. Set up took 30 seconds if you're using it as a battery doorbell. In my situation, I set it up as a battery doorbell then when I had time to install the wire, it was as easy as popping off the unit, securing the wires, and remounting the actual doorbell. (Running the wires through the walls was the hardest part, but that has nothing to do with the product.) My only complaint is the inability to upload custom doorbell chimes to the HomeBase. I really wanted to use an extra entry sensor on my bathroom door and use a toot noise as the sound effect for when it opened and closed. Some people have complained about response time, but a software update has recently fixed the delay. It's now much more responsive. ~1 second delay.

I bought one of these for my Aunt for Christmas and set it up for her on Christmas Day. Not too hard to set up with their documentation, and it took about 3 hours to charge. The resolution is good, and you can zoom in when looking at the live video on the app. Night vision is good, too. With no monthly charge this is an excellent solution!
