Amazing, subscription-free doorbell! We love the ease of installation, the live talking and pre-recorded messages features, and that everything is saved locally on a micro-sd. The one drawback is the field of view. To see the entirety of someone at the door while having it set to see packages is difficult. However, I would buy this again and again. Great product for the price! My wife feels much more safe with it installed.

I have had my fair share of video doorbells in the past. I have had ones from every major manufacturer out there. The one thing I have always hated about them was the high monthly fee to store your videos. I am happy to say that with this one, the fees are gone! I really hope that Anker/Eufy continue this and keep their line of cameras free to use forever. Right out of the box you can tell this is a well built doorbell. It has a nice sleek black look to it with the camera on top and the lighted ring around the doorbell button on the bottom. I have a wired doorbell currently, but those wires are getting old and frail, so I went with the battery version so I didn't have to worry about wires. Plus this doorbell comes with a free wireless chime for the inside of my house, so you dont need anything from your old doorbell system. Installing it was a breeze! I capped off my old doorbell wires and pushed them into the wall and then just installed this one right over the top of the old hole to cover it up. It looked beautiful and it was ready to set up. You just had to scan the QR code on the back of it to get it linked up to the app. After a couple minutes of going through the guided steps in the app, you will be up and running. You can put the chime pretty much anywhere in your house. So even if you didn't like the location of your old wired doorbell chime, you can now put this one wherever you want. You can even move it from time to time if you want to! Getting into using the camera, I was shocked at how good the field of view was. I was able to see our porch and any packages that were placed on it, as well as a head to toe view of anyone approaching my door. I could also see our entire front yard, so it not only protects my front door, but my front yard as well. After tweaking a few things in the app I was easily able to get the notifications customized to exactly what I wanted. I found that notifications came through very quickly whenever a person came onto my property. I have it set up to cover most of my front yard instead of just my porch. I figure, why not have that extra area covered if I can. I found that during the day and even at night the image was very clear. Clearer than other brands I have used that only offer 1080p videos. I am VERY happy with my new doorbell camera and have already told a few of my friends who have subscription based cameras to switch over. I highly recommend checking these out if you're in the market for a new doorbell security camera!

This item came broken. Would not charge or work will hard wired.

The Eufy - Smart Wi-Fi 2k Video Doorbell is an excellent video doorbell that I can highly recommend! It is very simple to set up (at least when using the built in battery instead of hard wiring) like I did. I already had the Eufy app on my phone as we already use (and love) another of the Eufy outdoor security cameras. So adding a second unit was a breeze. I've used a number of various security cameras from different companies and the Eufy cameras have proven to be stable & reliable. Can't say that for some of the other brands. Picture and sound quality for this doorbell are great as are the notifications thru the app. The ability to use it with a battery or hard wired is nice, but I suspect most will use it with the battery. As for the inside ringer portion that you need to plug in, it is small so it is out of the way and the ringer is plenty loud enough. A quick word on Wi-Fi signals. Didn't really have any issues connecting to the Wi-Fi overall. However, at first I tried to place the indoor ringer in an outlet closer to the living room. It seemed to have a bit of a lagging connection to the video doorbell outside. I only had to move it to an outlet about ten feet away (closer to the door) and all is good now. If you are looking to ad a video doorbell yet are not sure about being able to install it, look no further. This is very easy to install & understand and works great!

I like eufy products because of their self storage feature, no need for subscriptions though there is such choice. The doorbell model has an excellent camera both night and day, Google assistant and Alexa integration, doorbell chime/ringer and battery powered or dc powered. Infrared does not have as long range as I would like. Footprint is a bit larger than my old one, not by much. Reason for 4 stars is because it does not have a wide angle as my old doorbell camera and does not have a security screw to hold it in place so it pressure mounted and removed which can be tricky. Assembly is easy with a nice instructions and app prompts. eufy app is user friendly and integrates well with other eufy surveillance cameras to show them in one dashboard. It's a good addition to my other eufy cameras.

My wife and I are big Eufy fans. We love how they have gone head to head with both Ring and Arlo, and they have knocked it out of the park with this doorbell. It is a breeze to install and comes with it's own chime! After we installed in and I played around with the settings, this item performed better than our Ring WITH NO MONTHLY FEES!!! That's right, in a time where we are being $5'd to death in monthly fees for some service, some app, or some streaming channel it is refreshing to not have to shell out to get functionality that should come with the price of the product. Eufy gets this message loud and clear and is one of the reasons my wife and I love their products so much. Performance is great, as long as you take the time to adjust the sensitivities. It takes very clear video and works exactly as advertised. 5 stars.

After shopping for and doing research on wired vs wired doorbells and sorting my own situation with some wires of unknown status; I find myself wondering why not all doorbells on the market are packaged this way. Eufy has produced a 2k camera, which is the gold standard for high-resolution doorbells at the moment, that can accommodate both wired for power and wireless. The doorbell itself is a little larger than other offerings but feels well made. There is almost no visible difference between this and Eufy's hardwired version, and the fit with the mounting frame is very snug. In fact, I almost got a screwdriver out to remove the doorbell from the frame after unboxing, before I realized they've included a tool that looks like a sim removal pin to separate the two. Setup is easy, and out of the box you have the doorbell, the chime base, the mounting frame, and a wedge, as well as some hardware and a charging cable. Battery life is reported at 6 months, which stacks up well against other battery-powered offerings. Charge time did take a full afternoon, ranking in at several hours. Setup in the Eufy app is easy and the doorbell was found right away. The angle on this camera could be a little bit wider, if things are set at the base of my door, I find myself wanting to see them and am unable to get all the way back towards the base of the wall near the doorbell cam. Alerts and motion capture in the app are very robust, without a subscription fee like Ring or Arlo. Video is captured on the included and installed sd card, and then accessible via alerts or live over your internet. The ability to record to the sd card means it also continues to work fi your internet is wobbly or off. Latency for notifications seems to be very low, which means they come in quickly to my phone. Overall I think this is a well-engineered product, and with eufy making camera-based security products for some time now, this one benefits from multiple versions and iterations of their apps. I would recommend this setup to anyone looking for a wireless video doorbell, and it fits for wired users as well.

I really like my new doorbell camera. It was a breeze to install and get set up and working. The App has a lot of very useful features, and there are lots of various ways the camera can be set up and used. I like that there are multiple options for almost every setting. I also like that some features can be turned off, or the sensitivity turned up or down depending on how I want it. The App is very useful and explains each setting very well, and even gives helpful hints and suggestions. The built in AI does a great job of determining real events and preventing false notifications. The camera was super easy to mount, and the chime was even easier. I do wonder about how simple the doorbell mounts to the wall though, as it seems like it would be very easy to simply snatch it off the wall and smash it or throw it away. A nice metal bracket with a few more screws would be a nice upgrade. It would also be nice if the battery was swap-able so I could have a spare in hand when the battery dies. As it comes it takes about 6 hours to charge the internal battery. I also think they went cheap on the charge port using micro USB instead of the newer USB C connector. Overall it's one of the nicest little security cameras I've used, and the App is top notch!

Bought this as a gift for my daughter because I LOVE the eufy cameras and doorbell at my house. Excellent quality and local storage...can't be beat.

It was easy to installed and set up. Bought it more than a month, working very well, no any problems so far.

I believe this product stated 180 day battery life, If I got 1 month out of a charge it was a lot and the unit took a long time to recharge. Constant connectivity issues with the unit and finally after a year of use the unit stopped working all together. Audio response was very slow, video quality was decent. Overall would definitely not recommend Eufy wireless video doorbell.

Very pleased with this product and it was so much cheaper than the RING brand everyone seems to have. Easy to install, the app is self explanatory and we have nothing but good things to say about it.

Nice system. Would connect to our 5G WiFi when Ring wouldn't! Must follow instructions exactly by installing the chime first, then the doorbell. My only complaint is that I can't get the chime to signal when it detects a person approaching the doorbell, only a phone app notice.

Very pleased with this video doorbell. We had to adjust the settings to get optimal performance but once that is done it works great. The box doesn't say that it can use your existing doorbell wiring but the instructions clarify that it can. A few hints to make things go better: Fully charge the doorbell before installing. Use a charger that is strong enough to charge properly, otherwise the ring light won't display that it is charging. When linking the doorbell to the chime, hold the doorbell close to the chime.
