If possible, please try the following steps to see if the issue persists:
-Please confirm whether you enable ""record video"" of the doorbell in the home/away/customize mode.
-Please check your firewall setting to see if there are any special restrictions for the device. You can check the firewall setting at your router's official website.
-Could you please enable HotSpot on your phone and make the Homebase connect to your HotSpot to see if it works? Steps:side menu>my devices>wifi connection>change wifi.
-Please make sure the mobile phone network is set to IPV4 and the VPN is not turned on.
-Change a phone to see whether you can see the recorded videos.

Good protection at an even better price!

Setup is easy and fast using an app-based approach. You have the option to go hard wired with battery backup or straight wireless using battery only. Everything needed was provided with regards to mounting hardware and microSD card. Screws and a jumper for the hardwire install was included with a wedge to turn the doorbell left or right. The only thing needed is a wedge to vertically compensate the camera with its footage that is quite wide. There is no HDR but WDR tries to accomplish the same by recovering highlights and balancing footage. There is AI built-in that can tell differences in human vs vehicles.to provide you with only alerts you want. There is NO monthly fee for your video stored locally but there is the option to store 30 days of footage in the cloud. There is integration with Alexa and Google which is another bonus and must have for me. My Gripes -Need a wedge for tipping the doorbell down since the picture is quite wide with lots of sky in shots for no reason. Only a left or right adjustment is included in the installation kit. -Streaming is not great or reliable, video is often choppy or missing frames during playback. -Auto Night Vision doesn't work reliably. For example, it is 1pm and there are still clips recorded in B&W night vision. At noon the sun is 100% out, there is no excuse for this. Overall, it is definitely a competitor for any video doorbell out there. Although it is not perfect, it is pretty close for the price you pay.

Garbage. Get a Ring instead

I understand your disappointment in this situation. Please note that battery life varies, depending on how many times the doorbell is triggered, recording time duration, and environmental temperatures. In most common scenarios, a fully charged doorbell can last for 180-day. eufy battery doorbell test was done in the following conditions:
- Temperature: 68°F (20°C)
- 10 motion detections per day
- Recorded for 30 seconds each time motion was detected
- Standby power consumption was included during the usage time
Battery life varies and depends on the number of times motion is detected, recording time duration, and environmental temperatures.
In this case, may I trouble you to try the following troubleshooting tips?
-Choose the Balance Surveillance working mode. Step: Devices- Power manager. In this mode, the power consumption of the battery will be reduced, but it may also cause some motions will not be able to be detected.
-Select ""Human Only"" instead of ""All Motions"". Or decrease the sensitivity. Steps: Devices>motion detection>sensitivity level
-Set up or narrow the Activity Zone to filter the false positives.

Great doorbell with no subscription!

We love the ease of installation, the live talking and pre-recorded messages features, and that everything is saved locally on a micro-sd. The one drawback is the field of view. To see the entirety of someone at the door while having it set to see packages is difficult. However, I would buy this again and again. Great product for the price! My wife feels much more safe with it installed.

The best!

I have had ones from every major manufacturer out there. The one thing I have always hated about them was the high monthly fee to store your videos. I am happy to say that with this one, the fees are gone! I really hope that Anker/Eufy continue this and keep their line of cameras free to use forever. Right out of the box you can tell this is a well built doorbell. It has a nice sleek black look to it with the camera on top and the lighted ring around the doorbell button on the bottom. I have a wired doorbell currently, but those wires are getting old and frail, so I went with the battery version so I didn't have to worry about wires. Plus this doorbell comes with a free wireless chime for the inside of my house, so you dont need anything from your old doorbell system. Installing it was a breeze! I capped off my old doorbell wires and pushed them into the wall and then just installed this one right over the top of the old hole to cover it up. It looked beautiful and it was ready to set up. You just had to scan the QR code on the back of it to get it linked up to the app. After a couple minutes of going through the guided steps in the app, you will be up and running. You can put the chime pretty much anywhere in your house. So even if you didn't like the location of your old wired doorbell chime, you can now put this one wherever you want. You can even move it from time to time if you want to! Getting into using the camera, I was shocked at how good the field of view was. I was able to see our porch and any packages that were placed on it, as well as a head to toe view of anyone approaching my door. I could also see our entire front yard, so it not only protects my front door, but my front yard as well. After tweaking a few things in the app I was easily able to get the notifications customized to exactly what I wanted. I found that notifications came through very quickly whenever a person came onto my property. I have it set up to cover most of my front yard instead of just my porch. I figure, why not have that extra area covered if I can. I found that during the day and even at night the image was very clear. Clearer than other brands I have used that only offer 1080p videos. I am VERY happy with my new doorbell camera and have already told a few of my friends who have subscription based cameras to switch over. I highly recommend checking these out if you're in the market for a new doorbell security camera!

Excellent Video Doorbell
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Eufy - Smart Wi-Fi 2k Video Doorbell is an excellent video doorbell that I can highly recommend! It is very simple to set up (at least when using the built in battery instead of hard wiring) like I did. I already had the Eufy app on my phone as we already use (and love) another of the Eufy outdoor security cameras. So adding a second unit was a breeze. I've used a number of various security cameras from different companies and the Eufy cameras have proven to be stable & reliable. Can't say that for some of the other brands. Picture and sound quality for this doorbell are great as are the notifications thru the app. The ability to use it with a battery or hard wired is nice, but I suspect most will use it with the battery. As for the inside ringer portion that you need to plug in, it is small so it is out of the way and the ringer is plenty loud enough. A quick word on Wi-Fi signals. Didn't really have any issues connecting to the Wi-Fi overall. However, at first I tried to place the indoor ringer in an outlet closer to the living room. It seemed to have a bit of a lagging connection to the video doorbell outside. I only had to move it to an outlet about ten feet away (closer to the door) and all is good now. If you are looking to ad a video doorbell yet are not sure about being able to install it, look no further. This is very easy to install & understand and works great!

The doorbell model has an excellent camera both night and day, Google assistant and Alexa integration, doorbell chime/ringer and battery powered or dc powered. Infrared does not have as long range as I would like. Footprint is a bit larger than my old one, not by much. Reason for 4 stars is because it does not have a wide angle as my old doorbell camera and does not have a security screw to hold it in place so it pressure mounted and removed which can be tricky. Assembly is easy with a nice instructions and app prompts. eufy app is user friendly and integrates well with other eufy surveillance cameras to show them in one dashboard. It's a good addition to my other eufy cameras.

A fantastic doorbell from Eufy

We love how they have gone head to head with both Ring and Arlo, and they have knocked it out of the park with this doorbell. It is a breeze to install and comes with it's own chime! After we installed in and I played around with the settings, this item performed better than our Ring WITH NO MONTHLY FEES!!! That's right, in a time where we are being $5'd to death in monthly fees for some service, some app, or some streaming channel it is refreshing to not have to shell out to get functionality that should come with the price of the product. Eufy gets this message loud and clear and is one of the reasons my wife and I love their products so much. Performance is great, as long as you take the time to adjust the sensitivities. It takes very clear video and works exactly as advertised. 5 stars.
