This Vacuum is Awesome, it sucks deep into the carpet, bringing it back to life & shows the lines in the carpet! The cord rewind makes it so much easier, This is so easy to clean & runs quiet & looks nice. also has a longer cord than most It's still new to us but so far we love it! The lady at Best buy Everett was so helpful & knowledgable but they were out of stock so we went to Lynnwood & bought it there, everyone is always so helpful & friendly @ Best Buy, we swear by their warranties, no one else offers anything even close to what they do! no matter what we buy there, we always pay extra for the extended warranty, if you don't need it, great but things happen & if you do, you will be sorry if you didn't add that on to your purchase!

I like the vacuum but I am not sure that the cord is long enough and also when you turn the brushes off so you can do your hardwood or vinyl floor it does not always stay turned off sometimes you need to mess with it 2 or 3 times and then when it does work it sometimes just turns the brushes back on on its own, does not do a very good job at staying off. With that said the vacuum works very well.

First vacuum I've ever bought. Although I am a big fan of Dyson, this fit better into my budget. It's definitely worth the price and having used Dyson vacuums before, I can say it seems comparable as far as performance so far. I have a 2 bedroom apartment and I use it everywhere. The HEPA filter is awesome and I love that can clean most parts easily and by hand. Negatives for me are the hefty weight, the fact that there is one filter that will periodically need to be replaced and it seems to be made with "cheaper" hard plastic than Dyson products. The assembly was a breeze though and I used it as soon as I put it together. Overall love the quality of performance for the price.

I bought this about 6 months ago. I have pets, live in an apartment and wanted something that would tackle pet fur and not be to loud. This is a great vacuum! My only complaint and it is minor, is that I have to turn the "Brush Roller" on each time I use it. For those that have said it is heavy, it is. But I was able to "test drive" it before I bought it so I knew that. I would recommend that you ask a sales person if you can test it before you purchase to see if it is the one for you.

Highly recommend this vacuum cleaner. Really pulls dirt out of the carpet and floors.

I love how easy the canister is to take off & empty. I also like the attachments it comes with & how you can turn off the brushes. The suction isn't the greatest! We have the long, thick carpet & it didn't do the greatest job with picking everything up. It did a fair job at getting the dog hair, but didn't seem to do a good job at getting the dirt & raising the carpet back up like our old vacuum did to give it that freshly looking vacuumed look.

I'm very pleased with the Eureka Suction Seal Vacuum works great picking up pet hair.

This is a disappointing appliance. The two attachments holding the hose to the vacuum constantly fall off as does the dog hair attachment. I'll need glue to keep the hose-holding attachments on. The vacuum is very heavy and doesn't maneuver easily. It should have a second wand to attach to the hose so the user isn't doubled over trying to vacuum under furniture or between the washer and dryer. The wheels leave impressions on carpet. Our previous vacuums covered up the wheel attachments with the suction. The power cord sometimes doesn't completely rewind and it's the shortest we've ever had. The vacuum's only saving grace is its ability to pick up dog hair.

Bought this to replace a Hoover (it still worked but HEPA bags were no longer available for it). So far, I've noticed that despite having sealed HEPA filtration, dust still manages to escape (areas around the air outlets have a coating of dust). Then, about 4 months into average use, the brush roll would quit spinning. Thinking it was a bad belt, I investigated and found the belt to be intact, with no stretching. However, there's a small shaft that turns yet another belt, which in turn turns the brush roll when turned on. That belt was also OK. What I did find were the pulleys for each belt were turning independently of one another (which isn't supposed to. Since it's past my return policy, I'm stuck using the warranty (thankfully there's a service center nearby). However, I would ask that people steer clear of this model. I have seen others complain of the same thing, so this seems to be pretty common with this model.

When it lifted the carpet under the couch legs. I WAS SOLD!!!!

We had a Dyson DC14 for nearly 9 years that finally broke. (Ends up it is the clutch and that is $100+ to fix) I did a lot of research, watched videos, etc and saw that this vacuum appeared to do a good job. I went to our local store, plugged in and ran, and it was strong, felt heavy and had a lot of power... Fast forward about a month and it quit working. Come to find out, where the brush connects is held in place by about the smallest and cheapest piece of plastic ever. We took extra care to clean the brush actually (we have a dog) after every couple uses, and it still broke. We vacuum nearly every day or two, so it should have been fine, but the part MELTED. The brush wasn't clogged or stuck, the part was garbage. I contacted Eureka as it was under warranty, and was told that they would send us a new one asap, but that the part was back ordered and would be sent on the next Monday. That was nearly 2 months ago. After no calls, and no emails, I have called numerous times to see what the issue is. I JUST received a call that they are sending a part on 3/18. About 3-4 months after we requested the part. In the meantime, I found a Dyson DC17 Refurb Animal edition on Ebay for about $40 more than I wasted on this one. It is amazing, and has not had any issues. I am going to sell the Eureka as soon as the Part comes in, or donate it, it's a joke. If you can wait, or spend the money get a Dyson. ANY Dyson, this is the top Eureka, and is made of absolutely the cheapest parts I have ever seen and it WILL break. Best buy won't do anything, Eureka will take months...DON'T BUY IT!

If I had a 30-day trial period w/ this vacuum, I would have never kept it. It's heavy, manuevers poorly around corners, suction on the carpets is fair. I have to vacuum over a spot several times before I can get all the fuzz/light dirt up. The attachment holder is VERY poorly designed as it is plastic and the minute you lower the vacuum handle, it falls off. I finally had to tape it to the cleaner w/ duct tape to keep it in place. You can't get under furniture with the vacuum head so I have to go back over everything w/ a dustmop. It is hard to clean the bagless canister as the dirt accumulates in the top part and it never really comes clean no matter how hard you work at it.

Bought this approximately 2 months ago and it quit working today. Worked decent while it worked though. Bestbuy customer service was great and exchanged it with no problems.

When you try to use the hose and attachments for example along your sofa, the whole vacuum falls over on you. The on off lever difficult to work with while the cord gets hung up on the vacuum. The cord retractor dose not always work right, and the cord leaves marks on my molding. Why have a brush roll lever that has to be pushed, put the air path selector in place then pull the cord up off the floor and try and push this heavy machine all over the house.

I bought this vacuum because it was supposed to be close to but not the Dyson. Upon first use, I thought that this unit was legit. After about 5 uses I noticed that the unit started to lose suction. After a full cleaning on all canisters and rolling brush on bottom as well as the filter, it made no difference. Wish I did not buy this vacuum and will try and return it.

Bought this vacuum yesterday and upon the first use on the carpet--a piece of a seal broke off in the brush component. Found where it goes, but it has to be glued and doubt it will stay on even then. Major frustration--bought two things yesterday and there was a problem with both of them.
