    My 3 year old Evga power supply blew up one night & took out my main hard drive with it. I found this on sale the next morning & just used the old cables. Works great.

    EVGA's 1000 G5 has acceptable performance, but the company's own G3 1000 is much quieter and more efficient for about the same price.

    I own 6 of these and have yet to run into a single issue. Just with they gave you 6-dual 8 pin pcie cables instead of 2.
