Ignored the red flag and used it anyway. Unit will not even power up my build. Took whole ATX tower to local BBY and the Tech was so kind he said he will assess it. Same result. He said may be PSU or Motherboard. Bought another set of MoBo and PSU (EVGA this time, just in case), switched all components and used Corsair PSU and won’t t turn on. Switched to EVGA PSU and the unit came to life on one push of the power switch.

Really like how you can customize what cords are needed to minimize clutter inside case. It's more quiet than I thought it would be which is a plus.

These had all the power and connections that I needed in order to power a high end video card that I upgraded in the same desktop. To top things off, this power supply fan is very quiet...

WAY too many unnecessary cables. This one is great. I love the idea of having only what you need plugged in plus a ton of extras just in case. Sure it's less wattage than the old one I had, but it's still more than enough for my current build as well as my next build coming soon. EVGA always has some of the best products out there hands down. 5 stars all day.

A thousand watts is more than enough for basic computers and builds. It's a larger unit so be aware of adequate space inside a chassis.
